• Pamela (8/5): Very comfortable and friendly place to stay just west of the Jasper and Canadian Rockies. - Large comfortable room and bathroom. Felt like a home away from home. Owner/hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice. The hour and a half to Jasper was a long but scenic drive, and well worth the price difference from the out-of-sight accommodation prices in Jasper. Two of the three lovely rooms are up the very precarious stairs. Being that the hostess is a lady, there was no "manly" help to get my luggage up or down the stairs. Mind you that I had too much and that I am 78 years old.

There were a number of areas where we could sit and chat. And Dee was the perfect host who served up a wonderful breakfast each morning we were there. Nothing comes to mind.

• M (9/5): Wonderful place and host! - Dee was a lovely host and great cook who provided very tasty breakfasts. The space was clean, the garden pleasant. Close to the small town centre with easy driving access to trails nearby. Would happily stay here again, and we are not alone; we met other guests who were repeat customers. Very slight noise due to highway nearby.
• Amanda (10/5): Quirky Bed and Breakfast in Valemount. - Quirky Bed and Breakfast run by a lovely lady, Dee. Dee allows you to use the kitchen to make yourself a sandwich and store your beer and wine in the fridge. There is a nice covered veranda to sit and relax and chat in the evening and another nice seating area under the Beech Tree to sit in the shade when the sun is too hot. Our room was on the ground floor, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was fully equipped with towels and toiletries. Amazing breakfast prepared and served by Dee. Fab place would thoroughly recommend. Nothing.

All the suggestions that Dee gave us were wonderful and made the time in Valemount and the region around this little village unforgettable. • Frida (9/5): Superb - We had a big room with a large comfortable bed. The breakfast was great. It's located just of the highway and at walking distance to (at least) one good restaurant suggested to us by the owner. It's more like staying in the owner's home as her guest than at a hotel.

Helped with our luggage and showed us around her B&B. Breakfast was excellent and kingsize bed was very comfortable. Easily accessible from the highway and there is parking adjacent to the building. Nothing. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Excellent traditional breakfast. Furnishings to very high standard, large room, spotlessly clean. 1st class option. Brilliant stop off en route or to stay a few nights and discover local trails and history ( you must visit the local museum.The chance to meet fellow travellers from wherever and chat and share stories is always great. • Samuele (10/5): Exceptional - We had a truly unforgettable stay at Rose B&B in Valemount. From the moment we arrived, Mrs. Dee welcomed us with incredible warmth and kindness. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, she surprised us with a bottle of Italian Prosecco waiting in our room – such a thoughtful and touching gesture! Every morning, Dee treated us to delicious homemade breakfasts, always prepared with care and love. We especially fell in love with her Nanaimo bars, a sweet treat that quickly became our favorite. On top of that, she gave us excellent advice on local trails, helping us make the most of our time in the area. Her home is simply beautiful – cozy, cheerful, and full of positive energy. We truly felt pampered and at ease throughout our entire stay. If we ever pass through Valemount again, there’s no doubt we’ll be back at Rose B&B. It’s honestly the best place we’ve stayed in Canada, and we’ll be recommending it to everyone we know!

The room was spotless and very comfortable. She accommodated our early departure with a beautiful breakfast and coffee.
• Martin (9/5): Charming, small-scale B&B with a personal touch ! - An excellent B&B, in a cosy and personally decorated house. Large rooms, large beds, excellent shower. Dee is a very friendly host, available for all information about tourist attractions, local restaurants and hiking trails in the surroundings. The house is located at the edge of the small town, only 2' drive from the center. Although close to the highway, it is quiet at night (except for the whistle of an occasionally passing cargo train at a distance). Parking in front of the building. And last but not least: an excellent hot breakfast !! Nothing to report
• Jamie (10/5): Cosy cottage with fantastic breakfasts! - Dee’s breakfasts were incredible! Something different everyday and always delicious. The freshly made granola was a favourite! The cottage is cosy and quiet, and our room had everything we needed. Dee is a wonderful host, super friendly and a great source of recommendations. The location in Valemount is excellent and we walked up to the Main Street where we enjoyed good food and a visit to the Three Ranges Brewery. We were staying here to visit Mount Robson Provincial Park which is a half hour drive North. We also visited the Ancient Forest Provincial Park past McBride and we would highly recommend that too. Nothing, it was perfect.

It was an exceptional situation for her and her sister as hosts as the wildfires led to evacuations in Jasper. Even in such a crisis she always made sure that we were feeling alright and she even cooked us dinner to improve our stay at such an unfortunate time in which we weren't able to leave the house due to my wife's pregnancy.
• Michael (9/5): Relaxing B N B on the outskirts of Valemount is better than all ofthe town hotels…hands down. - The breakfast was fabulous! More than enough of quality and quantity to keep this big breakfast eating dude happy. Best omelette in the Rockies! I came during a heat wave….33 c that day. The room had no AC which normally doesn’t bother me too much. The fan helped, but I did have a wee spot of trouble falling asleep. Note: my spouse slept fine. Perhaps a ceiling fan or a portable AC unit would have helped! Note 2: knowing all that in advance, I would have stayed there anyway!

• Michal (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - This was such a lovely and tranquil place to stay. Dee the host was laid back, friendly and made us feel welcome. The bedroom was very comfortable with a nice en suite bathroom. The pièce de résistance was the breakfast experience. It was nice to sit down to a home made breakfast at a table with other guests from around the world to compare experiences in Canada. The breakfast was ample and different every day. Evenings also had a homely atmosphere when guests could sit together in the lounge. There was nothing to fault.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the spacious room and private bathroom to the very comfy bed, to the wonderful breakfasts and evening chats with Dee and other guests. The location of the Cottage was perfect for us as we were there for the Grand Re-Opening of the Rocky Mountain Speedway, which was less than 5 minutes down the road. We would highly recommend staying at Rose Cottage, we look forward to coming back sometime.

Although the highway is very close, the location is surprisingly quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Spending time at Rose Cottage is like visiting your favourite aunt. That our stay was too short!!!!

She takes very good care of you and ensures that you feel happy and content during your stay. The location is great, breakfast was amazing (one of the best I have ever had staying in a bed and breakfast). I will certainly go back to her place if I visit that area again
