• Antonia Jara (10/5): Ideal para descansar y desconectarse - Elegí Patagonia Route porque buscaba un lugar donde sentirme como en casa, y realmente superó mis expectativas. Me alojé junto a mi mamá, y ambas nos sentimos muy cómodas durante toda la estadía. Destaco especialmente los desayunos: todo estaba delicioso, en particular el cheesecake que preparó Susana. Además, todo se encontraba impecablemente limpio, lo que se agradece muchísimo. La ubicación también es un gran punto a favor: es un lugar tranquilo, lejos del ruido, pero al mismo tiempo muy cerca de cafeterías y lugares agradables para recorrer.

• Filip (10/5): HOME SWEET HOME - Voor deze fijne locatie hebben we geen woorden. Susana, de host, is zo’n toppertje. Een lieve, knappe dame boordevol enthousiasme en positivisme. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, de ontvangst hartelijk, de kamers proper en comfortabel. Het was gewoon TOP. Dankjewel Susana voor de heerlijke tijd en de de warme sfeer waarvoor jij zorgt. ❤️
• Jules (10/5): - The hosts were absolutely fabulous. They were friendly, gave us great information, provided fantastic breakfasts every morning and spoke great English. The location is perfect - two blocks from the lake and just a few from downtown. Thus, you are close to everything but not deluged with your buses when you walk out in the morning. Our room was cleaned daily and was spotlessly clean throughout. The bed itself was SO very comfortable (pillows too!) and the bedding itself so luxurious. They have a great bench where you can sit out at night if you like. We feel so very lucky to have found Patagonia Route B,&B and recommend it enthusiastically and without the slightest reservation. We were there for 7 nights in March. Nothing. All wonderful.

• Marisol Marambio (10/5): - En casa de Susana nos sentimos como en nuestra propia casa. Siempre estuvo muy preocupada de nosotros. El aseo de nuestro cuarto y baño todos los dias, cambio de sábanas cada 2 dias. El lugar a 12 minutos caminado del centro. Los desayunos exquisitos y abundantes. Fueron 8 noches que dormimos super buen, después de un día muy bien ocupado. Gracias Susana por tanto cariños!
• Jacques (9/5): lovely home..great hosts.. - this B&B is in a lovely house, and the hosts are absolutely wonderful. the ambiance is really homelike..and the breakfast is ready when you are..!! 50 yards from the property, you will find a hopping eatery/bakery, that does offer a variety of choices, allowing one to find food without having to walk down to the center of town I wished the room had been a little bigger..a queen size bed tends to bring the walls a little to close for a three night stay

• Tobias (10/5): - Das Haus ist modern und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet und hat einen sehr hohen und europäischen Ausbaustandart. Das Badezimmer hat eine moderne und grosse Dusche. Die Gastgeberin ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gab uns Informationen zu Ausflugstipps und es war uns möglich, nach dem Auschecken bis zur Abfahrt unseres Buses das Gepäck einzulagern.Das Frühstück ist frisch und reichhaltig. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen und empfehlen sie weiter.

• Alex Espinoza Lizarraga (10/5): Te sientes como en casa - Está muy bien ubicado en un barrio hermoso muy cerca del centro de la ciudad. La dueña es muy amable, te hace sentir como en casa y siempre estaba disponible ante cualquier duda que teníamos. Los desayunos eran muy completos y variados. Nos gustó mucho el lugar, ya tenemos un lugar en Puerto Varas para volver siempre. Todo estaba perfecto.
• Gretchen (5/5): Mediocre lodging with great hosts - Very nice location and the owners were incredible. Rating B & B’s is very subjective. Many people raved about this place. The owners are terrific. But the property itself was very mediocre. The rooms were just plain, basic, unadorned rooms. No bottled water in the rooms. One scratchy towel per person. Wonky shower. No AC and no ventilation. No charm or ambiance. Just a room. The view was the neighbor’s driveway and there was traffic/noise all night. Breakfast was nothing special. This was just a very very basic hostel type lodging. And that is what you pay for. If you want a charming, quaint B & B, look elsewhere.
• Catherine (10/5): Exceptional property. - Reception was excellent. Jose was very informative, helpful, and friendly. Staff were all friendly and excelled at everything. The location is quiet, close to the lake, and within walking distance of the downtown area. The breakfast was delicious and we appreciated their flexibility when we needed to make an early departure. We very much enjoyed our conversations with Jose - his family history, ongoing in Chile, and knowledge of mountainous areas.

Susana was super kind and we enjoyed our breakfast. We liked the location, even though it is a short walk from the main tourist center.

It was an incredibly comfortable stay and in a great location with just a short walk in to Puerto Varas and an incredible bakery Almepan just across the road! • John (6/5): Patagonia Route B&B - Unfortunate Bad Experience - Our room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was also good. I would give this place a higher rating if not for one unfortunate bad experience. Upon check out, Susana handed me the invoice stating she made the conversion using 9.9 and asked me “is this okay.” I was caught off guard and not wanting to seem rude, I said sure. Soon after we departed, I checked the daily conversion for Pesos to USD and found it was 9.54, a small difference but it amounted to about a $12 overcharge. This was our first lodging at the start of our 34-day road trip in Chile. During this trip we stayed at about a dozen places and every time there after, the daily conversion was used for our invoices, which was never higher than 9.5. In my opinion what Patagonia Route B&B (Susana) did was unprofessional and unethical, therefore I cannot recommend Patagonia Route B&B.

• Dwight (10/5): Very Highly Recommended B&B - I stayed in January 2025. This is the perfect place to stay to visit Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt and Osorno. This is a B&B in the true sense. The room is clean, large and overall comfortable. The hosts are super nice people. I can’t say enough about how gracious and sweet this couple is. They attend to all requests and provide tips on activities in Puerto Varas. Puerto Varas is such an awesome experience. It feels like being in Europe. Do not stay in Puerto Montt, stay in Puerto Varas. Breakfast is great each morning - coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, meat slices, etc. Very quiet place to relax and easy walking distance to the beach, bus station, the center of town, restaurants, coffee shops. There’s a lovely little panderia/cafe across the street from the B&B if you want a nice pastry. The owners allowed me to check in a bit early and even gave me a ride to my new hostel afterward. They certainly put a lot of effort in their hospitality. Rooms are cleaned daily if you desire. Overall, fantastic experience. I highly recommend staying here.

Suzanna is a fantastic host that spoiled us with a fantastic breakfast with homemade bread and cake. She also reserved us some great fish restaurants for the evening. Her friendliness made it a memorable stay. We felt really at home, we have only positive things to report

In a perfect location, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and everything worked flawlessly. And the host Susana was superb—warm and welcoming, most helpful and accommodating to my special requests and lots of fun. Having stayed in many, many booking.com places over the years, Patagonia Route B & B is in my top 5 all time!

Owners very helpful, considerate, and friendly. Room a bit on the small side. We stayed at this accommodation for 4 nights and then several weeks later had an occasion to stay just 1 night in Puerto Varas at a different accommodation. I loved Patagonia Route B&B however it is pricey and although a good value perhaps not a great value.

We stayed 3 nights and the mom made me different gluten-free desserts for breakfast each morning. There is a nice sitting room and there is parking on site.

• Yair (9/5): Well organized, restful, and hospitable - The beautiful hardwood floors and the breakfast was delicious each morning. The elegant presentation of the house, room, and breakfast was impeccable. The host was beyond gracious and went above and beyond in helping us making our stay in Puerto Varas memorable. She provided hiking recommendations and answered our questions as best as she could. The water in the shower took a little long warm up.

This place is a small family owned, quiet bed and breakfast within walking distance of the centre with super clean rooms and a delicious breakfast. The couple is incredibly helpful, interested and friendly.

• Claudio (10/5): great and cost effective alternative to a bigger hotel - Everything is nice. The room is big and confortable, the bed is huge , the bathroom and shower were top. the breakfast is good and our host Susana is wonderful. Although the B&B has private parking, it is really a garage entrance where you accommodate 3 cars, one car locks the other, so you have to leave the car keys at the lobby. Only a minor inconvenience to me.
