• Guido (10/5): - Una atención extraordinaria. Llegué algo tarde al jotel y aún así Yadira me atendió amigablemente y amablemente. El hotel están cerca del aeropuerto, entonces es bastante ameno el camino de y hacia el aeropuerto. El sector es muy tranquilo, no hay ruiso durante la noche y los otros huéspedes fueron respetuosos
• jerome (1/5): - Nous n y sommes pas allés car le propriétaire n a jamais répondu après notre réservation. Nous nous sommes donc retrouvés sans rien la veille a 19h de notre retour. Nous avons du appeler le service client booking et avons été facturés 50€ . Donc hébergement à eviter . ..stress et perte d argent. Heureusement qu un autre hébergement nous a accepté en dernière minute Nous n y sommes pas allés car le propriétaire n a jamais répondu après notre réservation. • Jon (10/5): This a great value for a close to the San Jose International Airport stay, and a great experience. - Conveniently located to the airport. Very clean and cute place. The owner is fabulous! She is so kind, and will go way out of her way to help you. She woke up at 2:30 AM so I could have breakfast before leaving for an early flight! Gave me recommendations for a nearby simple restaurant that was very good. No air conditioning, but the fan was quiet and made things comfortable.

• louise (9/5): Convenient, clean, lovely lady - Lovely lady (kindly allowed a 10pm check in as we had been held up by terrible traffic). Nice to have breakfast. Place was very clean. Very close to airport so convenient for transfers. Difficult to find (booking.com directions don’t take you to right place and there is no further information to help you). Quite a loud neighbourhood in v early morning.

• Antti (9/5): Nice family "hotel" - Regular house converted to few guest rooms and run by family. Quiet neighborhood and no other guests around. Spacious and clean rooms with good beds and showers. Friendly old lady run the show and made slow but great breakfast for us. Private gated parking and easy access from/to SJO by car. Card payment accepted. Only Spanish spoken. We didn't get keys to room doors.

La habitación es sencilla y estaba muy limpia. Ellos nos ayudaron a organizar la ruta del resto de la semana, fueron muy atentos con nosotros. Todo estuvo muy bien

• Žabkar (9/5): Superb - Close to airport, easy to find, perfecr for a night before/after flight. Breakfast was delicious, room is nice, clean, bed is comfortable. I write few times to host (few days before arriving) and I did not get response - it was a bit disturbing for us becouse after a very long flight and late hour we were worrired if everthing is ok with reservation - after all, everthing was ok.

Excellent value and close proximity to the airport - Very clean, comfy bed, hot water. In a quiet residential area. Yadira is fantastic, even made my eggs to order. She also fixed something in the bathroom immediately. Not much for food options close by, though there is a corner store for snacks etc

• Tamara (10/5): A perfect place to stay! - The hostess was such a delight! A wonderfully sweet woman who is very helpful, despite our limited Spanish she was able to tell us about a nearby restaurant and market, if you don’t mind a short walk. The accommodations were superior! Very clean, very comfortable, very quiet. We had to leave at 4am for our flight, she was up with a breakfast and called the cab for us! I highly recommend the stay, even for just a night! There is nothing to not like

The location near the airport is convenient for a night after a long flight or an early departure. Breakfast was OK and parking a bit tight. The room is a little small.
• Neal (8/5): The proprietress was helpful and friendly. The place was clean, but lacking in ambience. - This location is OK if you just want to get to SJO airport early in the morning. However, it is located away from the center of Alejula, so there are no nearby restaurants or things to do. The wire shelf in my room is poorly located. I banged my head and shoulder on it coming and going to the bathroom.

• Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic spot for a night or two of stay! I loved it so much on my first night I rebooked later in my trip when I was headed down to the coast. The host is amazing and very caring and they have two lovely cats - Lola and Bebe! Highly recommend. Great value for price!!

• Alcabes (10/5): Exceptional - The host is a lovely woman and the room is comfortable and very pretty. It was pleasant to talk to the host - in Spanish). The breakfast was very nice. It seemed to be confusing to get to for a taxi driver who didn't already know the way. It might be better to allow the host to arrange a taxi ride, which she had said was a possibility. Also, be aware that the host speaks Spanish (and she said that she speaks a little German) but not English.

• Richard (10/5): First-time stay, very pleasantly surprised! - Everything was neat and clean, modern bathroom with hot water, lighted mirror, soaps, bath mat, wash cloth and towels. The bed was very comfortable; slept like a baby. Temperature was perfect, no AC or heat needed. Our host was very nice! She made breakfast of ham, cheese, bowl of assorted fruits, toast with butter and jam, and eggs cooked your way. Coffee or tea was served. It’s in a very nice neighborhood, close to the airport a $10 cab ride away. Great value! Can’t wait to stay here again. No stores nearby for snacks.

• Patrik (10/5): Warmth welcome at San Jose - The lovely old lady who took care of me is amazing. Extremely pleasant person who doesn't speak English much but compensate with warmth that many property owners should learn from. For the money and location near the airport it's a no brainer. The lady does not response much via booking but if you are suppose to come she'll be there. The check in said till 9 pm. I arrived after 10 30pm and she was waiting for me.

• Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Great location in a safe/quiet neighbourhood very close to the airport. We had a spare afternoon so walk into the Alajuela town centre which has a lot of history. Breakfast was superb. Fresh fruit, eggs, toast and as much Costa Rican coffee as you like. Rooms were a good size and shower was hot and had good power.

• Frank (9/5): I only spent one night basically for sleep. Although Yadira only speaks Spanish she tries her best to accommodate her cu - Excellent location close to the airport (taxi fare is about $10) but in a quiet neighborhood. The windows don’t have mosquito screens, so you either sleep with the window closed or you accept the little buggers. Also my shower did not have a separation or curtain so the water gets all over the bathroom floor when showering.
