Lovely decor, landscaped gardens with fantastic view over lake, forest and mountains. Generous continental breakfast . Wallabies on the driveway when leaving !

• Kevan (10/5): Perfect in every respect WOW! - Location on the top of the hill in a quiet neighbourhood was incredible. The self contained annexe was stunning in design and execution. Maintained impeccably and immaculate it was a joy to stay there. Air conditioning was effective and quiet. Bed, linen and all soft furnishings were very high quality. The welcome from Andy and Gill was wonderful. Continental breakfast with wide range and a home made cake selection brilliant. Ground coffee and tea for brewing added a further depth. The thoroughness of the hosts meant that we could want for nothing. Nothing, amazing.

• Leanne (10/5): - Jill is a lovely hostess. I really appreciated the breakfast supplies and snacks. Montrose is a beautifully decorated three room self contained unit close to, but seperate from, the main house. The bed is very comfy and the surroundings are peaceful.

Andy and Jill were very welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner recommendation at Mollydookers a short drive from the property. Stunning views and total peace and quiet. Nothing. We loved it all.

• Lee and Susanne (10/5): Lovely owners, beautiful location, woke up to Wallabies and Kangaroos , immaculately clean and very comfortable. - Beautiful, separate building sharing a covered patio with the owners. They even had a space in their garage for our car. It was a home on a hill overlooking a picturesque valley. Wonderful setting. Nothing, it was perfect.

• Gillian (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed meeting our hosts and were thrilled by our accommodation. - The exceptionally friendly hosts greeted us on arrival, showing us around the accommodation and explaining the breakfast supplied. All aspects of the unit were of superior quality. The car was under cover in the shed. There was no aspect of our stay that we felt needed improvement.

• Donna (9/5): Classy, bed was amazing, the whole apt had a beautiful ambiance - We arrived late afternoon left at 5am, it was high class and spotless. Bed,furniture, peaceful up a dirt rd, private, we left our cases overnight and felt the car under cover was very safe.
• Michelle (10/5): Like Raffles in the bush - Beautiful cottage and hosts. I had a mattress and mum had the bed. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Only one cottage so lots of privacy. Lovely bush setting only a few minutes drive to the pub and Mollydookers restaurant where we got a delicious take away pizza. Breakfast and afternoon tea included as well as wildlife to watch and fresh mandarins straight off the tree outside our cottage. I liked everything.

• Diane (8/5): Beautiful, very well setup, lovely countryside but isolated. - It's beautifully setup. The driveway up the hill is weird. Very nice furniture and furnishings. Top class. We did not like having a key to the cabin. The owner kept the key. I was unsettled all night and hardly slept. It's well into the country and I felt vulnerable.

Arriving on a cold and damp evening the unit was already being heated, and the bath towels were freshly warmed. The breakfast and fresh coffee beans were very much appreciated, for a early morning start. Our stay was too short to enjoy the full attributes of the unit.

No ensuite - Although we had booked well in advance and had confirmation via booking.com, the property owners took a booking from another customer and we were unable to stay in the self contained room as requested.

Although it was conveniently located just outside Childers, it was like staying deep in the countryside .Wish we could have stayed longer.

Large space with separate dining area, and separate bathroom. Very nicely appointed. Nothing to dislike at all!
• Rj (10/5): Sensational B&B a true delight. - This is an excellent and wonderful B&B, with super friendly hosts. It is set on a hill with panoramic views, local wildlife across the site. We only stayed one night, heading north, but could certainly be lovely to longer. No hesitation, we will stay again when passing next time. We couldn't stay longer, had to keep going. Nothing to complain about.

• Howard (6/5): Nice stay, shame about the driveway. - Its a good deal for what you get and the host is very welcoming Its actually a deal breaker for future visits. Steep hill with a very rough brick path under the wheels only (think train track) with three severe speed humps which given the condition of the drive are hardly needed. I was lucky I wasn't in my normal car which would not have been able to negotiate this drive. OK for a four wheel drive plus a nervous driver may have a problem.

Breakfast was lovely fruit, toast, coffee and tea. Bountiful. The Christmas cake left in the fridge the night before was yummy. Couldn’t find a bottle opener but the host provided it.
