• Heiko (10/5): - We stayed for 2 nights. The room was amazing with a view onto the lake, with 2 reclining chairs at the window so you can sip your wine in front of a panorama window. The room has access to a balcony, it is perfectly designed, and felt all new. Breakfast was outstanding, everything was homemade by the host lady, you could not wish for more. The host couple is very welcoming, and we do really recommend Casa Loma BnB

The room had a lovely lake view, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! What made the stay extra special was the wonderful couple, Merle and Lou — so warm, kind, and welcoming. Listening to their stories over breakfast was heartwarming. If we ever come back to Kelowna, we would definitely love to stay here again. Nothing at all — everything was just perfect. We only wish Merle and Lou continued good health and happiness!

• Geoff (10/5): Wonderful B&B overlooking Lake Okanagan. - Everything. Everything about this accommodation is perfect. The rooms are incredibly spacious and well equipped. In addition, guests have a large living room to spend time in if they wish. The house sits high up above Lake Oganagin with a wonderful view from a deck that the guests have direct access to and can sit admiring the view. The hosts are lovely people and a joy to talk to. And the breakfasts are incredible! Nothing. Everything was wonderful.

The location was beautiful with lake views and the room was clean, spacious and homely. We only stayed one night but instantly felt at home. Merle made us a delicious breakfast and we had one of the best mornings of our trip talking about their interesting and inspirational life experiences. I cannot rate this place enough. We felt so sad to have to say goodbye! We wish we could have stayed longer :(
• Ulrike (10/5): Amazing - Merle and Lou are wonderful hosts with great life stories to tell. They share their amazing home with their guests and have a great ambience. Breakfast was delicious, made by Merle who used to be a breakfast chef. The B&B is in a quiet location with amazing views over the lake. There is a little beach with a bench just a 5 min walk away to take a swim or just sit and admire the views in the evening. We would love to come back if the opportunity ever arises.

It is absolute beautiful city with a lot to see and do, s - It is in a very close proximity to wineries and downtown and situated in a very quiet neighborhood on a street with not through traffic. Beautiful park with walking trails is 3 minutes away. Amazing view from the room’s window and the balcony. We liked absolutely everything. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

• Vivian (10/5): As good as it gets - Extremely pleasant hosts with vivacious personality and well worth getting to know their history, married for 62 years with many interesting careers behind them and at 80 and 82 years old put most much younger hosts to shame with their energy. The room was absolutely spotless as was the rest of the house that we saw, I highly recommend... also their location is next to an excellent park with many walking trails along the lake edge in a very quiet colder-sac 5 mins away from a shopping center and 10 mins from a selection on wineries including, Mount Boucherie, Mission Hill and Quails Gate who serve exceptional food with fantastic atmosphere and views you couldn't ask for a better location to sample Kelowna's best offerings Leaving :)

• Philip (10/5): Superb. One of the best B&B stays (maybe the best) in over 30 years of travelling. - Fantastic location & welcome from Merle. Their home is high quality tastefully decorated and the guest upper level is very spacious. The 10 meter wide veranda with super lake views can also be used. Merle & Lou are so friendly and helpful, just naturals at making you feel welcome. Lou told us how to locate the Bald Eagle nest with a hungry eaglet. Merle helped us find a good restaurant and directed us to the walk close to the lake. Breakfast & coffee was very tasty. Fresh fruit mixture was a real treat. Bathroom was very modern, shower was great. Comfy bed and high quality sheets/pillows, great nights sleep. Our favourite place by far to stay in the 18 day Canada trip. Nothing to mention here. It was really a shame we only had one night here as we had to leave for Vancouver.

The location was perfect, as West Kelowna is scenically situated across Okanogan Lake and the Kalamoir national park and hiking trails were literally a hop jump and skip away! The hosts Merle and Lou were super sweet, amazing to converse with and the breakfasts were deliciously homemade. Their dog, Tinkle, is also so cute! This place is a gem, and we would highly recommend. Felt like staying with family. There was nothing I would change. The hosts are fabulous and were accommodating for an earlier check in, provided us with a tea kettle, and we were even provided with extra towels to head to the nearby beach!

We also had seating by the window inside our Queen room with the same view. Merle and Lou were the perfect hosts and we were spoiled. Lovely breakfast. Everything was good. We visited Old Vines Restaurant at Quails Gate; we took a taxi there as rain was threatening but walking is an option.

• Camille (10/5): The best location around Kelowna? - By far the best stay I had in a very long time. Merle and Lou were amazing, we all had a great talk during breakfast. The location and the room were simply stunning. I rarely had such a clean, peaceful, cozy location. So far better than all the hotels I stayed in, and for a cheaper price. Give yourself a treat: get some tea on the balcony with a view to the lake just by sunset, and say hi to Tico for me. Nothing. I would have stayed much longer if I could have.

The house and the room were also very clean, aesthetically pleasing, and full of neat collectables! Great view of the lake as well.
