Outdoor, well equipped kitchen with comfortable furniture and delicious breakfast supplies provided. Helpful, friendly people always willing to chat or lend a hand. Delicious fruit delivered daily. Sustainable living with off the grid water, power etc Close to activities, cafe, shop. Wood fired pizza oven works a treat -byo ingredients. All in all, a wonderful stay.

- Cheryl (10/5): Such a special place - Don’t be fooled by the term” farm “people. This wasn’t just accomodation, this is an experience at an incredibly high standard. Stunning tropical fruit farm in paradise. Amazing outdoor space for self catering and very comfy and well appointed interior. The team were very welcoming and explained all about the tropical fruit we were given upon arrival. The care and love they have for the environment is at the forefront of everthing they do. Honestly didn’t want to leave, what a privilege to stay there, we will be back 👌
- Nathalie (9/5): Beautiful stay with amazing breakfast - Beautiful location Didnt like that our cottage deck was directed to the driveway.

- Dena (10/5): One of those absolutely special places in the world! - We loved everything. The location, the rainforest, the beaches, learning more about tropical fruit, the family history, the cabin ❤️❤️❤️, the welcome, the peacefulness, the gorgeous fruit basket with the yummy breakfast. Even learning and being aware of living totally off grid was so interesting and it still felt so comfortable with all you could need. Thank you so much for everything! Nothing at all.
- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and loved the fruit. Owners were lovely and friendly - gave us lots of great recommendations!!!
- Debbie (10/5): Unique setting for a memorable stay - The cottage was new and very nicely decorated. The outdoor kitchen was more than we expected, gas top and full fridge, well equipped. The daily fresh fruit plus other provisions is more than enough for breakfast. Warm and hospitable hosts. Nothing

- Rebecca (7/5): Nice spot in amongst the farm land - Nice little abode for a short stay and exciting to try some new fruits fresh from the farm Could have been good to have a bbq and comfier loungers to sit on on the deck.
A bit pricey for what it was.
- Peter (10/5): Glamping - Unique setting in an exotic Orchard Noting
- Kerry (8/5): Very good -
- Caroline (10/5): Perfect, peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, absolutely amazing!! - Everything! Location, beauty of the environment, privacy, delicious fresh unusual fruit everyday, friendly helpful hosts, absolute perfection! Nothing
- Phil (10/5): Exceptional - Great quiet location, easy walking distance to Cape Trib village and rain forest boardwalk. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable owners. Fresh bowl of assorted tropical fruits grown on the farm for breakfast each morning. Water pressure for the shower could have been a bit better, but that's quibbling. Everything else was perfect
- Keith (8/5): Very good -
- Tarese (10/5): Couldn’t recommend Cape Trib Farm highly enough, a relaxing stay with beautiful amenities. - We loved the room and outside cooking area. The Farm had everything you could possibly need and looked exactly like the photos and more. Great facilities to cook in, as well as a pizza oven. Makes for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The complimentary breakfast with farm picked fruit, bread, jam and cereals made for a unique experience. The family were so helpful and kind. Will be returning one day! No issues whatsoever.
- Sara (10/5): Amazing stay on Cape Trib with incredible tropical fruit, cereal and bread and jam - unique and beautiful cottages on working fruit farm - wonderful hosts, extremely clean and well furnished nothing
- Rosemary (10/5): Wonderful! An experience not to be missed! - We stayed in a wonderful Cottage, located in the beautiful orchard, with complete privacy. We had absolutely everything we needed and more, Jeremy, Merran and Sam were very friendly, helpful and had thought of everything. The most amazing fresh fruit was delivered to our cottage every day and when we arrived, our fridge was filled with home made jam, marmalade, butter, cereals, milk and homemade juice. Perfect! We joined in with the exotic fruit tasting and tour of the orchard, which was so interesting and enjoyable. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, Jeremy, Merran and Sam, it was such a special experience. Nothing at all
- Olivia (10/5): Simply wonderful - Honestly we could not have been more impressed. The setting is astonishingly beautiful, the cabins are luxurious and the breakfast is delicious. We thought the bowl of fruit was supposed to last us two days so we were very pleasantly surprised when we got a whole new one the second day! Amazing value, would definitely go back.
- Jennie (10/5): simply amazing - everything nothing
- Leng (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shya (10/5): Tranquil farm stay with generous tropical fruit basket to accompany your breakfast. - Spectacular and generous tropical fruit basket, with Sam tracking down some mangosteen for me to enjoy. The beds were comfortable and we loved sitting on the deck under the fan reading in the afternoon and even watching the thunderstorm roll in on our second night. Sam and Merran were very helpful with places to see and called ahead to book us in. We even managed to see some elusive Cassowary (male + 2 chicks) based on their advice!
- Justas (10/5): Exotic get-away - Jeremy was a superb host which made our visit special
- Arella (10/5): Perfect - Eco friendly and sustainable. So many delicious fruit, best hosts, best dogs
- Bret_c (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liz (8/5): relaxing and calm - calm and picturesque, good location
- Matthew (8/5): Fabulous accommodation, lovely surroundings but it needs some thought the practicalities. - Beautifully furnished cabin and outdoor area, lovely surroundings with comfortable chairs on the decking. AC and fan. Very quiet with only the sounds of the birds! The cabin didn’t have a fridge which made it difficult to have a glass of wine, beer or indeed anything else to drink in the evening while enjoying the peace of the decking.
There was nowhere to hand or store clothes.
There was a communal fridge in the cooking area as well as a pleasant seating area and cooking facilities plus comfortable easy chairs. There were no other guests while we were there but if there had been I’m not sure how it would have been.
It was also completely dark by the time we returned to our cabin and the way back wasn’t lit. If we hadn’t had the torch on our iPhone I’m not sure we would of managed!!
- Darren (9/5): Superb - Quite and comfortable, breakfast was lovely, easy access to all the Cape activities. Easy walk in to town, fantastic place to stay.
- Amelia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandy (8/5): Private Cabins in Cape Tribulation. - This is a very clean and comfortable cabin option in Cape Tribulation.
Great staff.
Great Location.
Really enjoyed the exotic fruit breakfasts. The room was a bit small.
- Jennefer (9/5): Superb -
- Sam (9/5): Really great experience staying at Cape Trib Farm…good location to nearby services and activities. - Great experience staying on a farm surrounded by all sorts of wildlife. Exotic fruit breakfast was great. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Limited Air-Con use, but understandable as farm is running on Solar Power and sustainable energy, which is very commendable.
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the serenity and not being in a motel room... And no television... Just us.
The hosts were so accommodating and very devoted to their guests and their farm. Their fresh breakfast fruit is of course brilliant and the place felt like home. Access to all you need... Food wise is a minute away.... However, the hosts would get it for you in a flash anyway. We thought a quick fishing trip to the beach would be nice but didn't have any gear... Moments later I had all the fishing gear I needed from the hosts and off we went through their access to the beach... The hosts also made us aware of their local issues like not swimming in the ocean... Just in case you like to be croc bait... But the beach and ocean is sweet. Thankfully we had a 4x4 car and we were able to cruise up Cooktown way and the hosts advised us of the places to stop at and navigating the track . All these little things just put the icing on our stay. We are definitely coming back... Leaving... Would love to have stayed longer. It was such a nice experience for us and we got to pat their dogs....
- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Sasha (8/5): A well run family farm that provides great service and even more amazing breakfasts of exotic fruits. - Friendly and personable staff, amazing fruits, coffee delivery every morning, it’s off the grid, cute dogs and close to lots of great spots for hikes and other touristy spots and close to the beach. Nothing
- Maria (10/5): unforgettable, relaxing, boutique - Everything! exceeded our expectations in every way. We stayed in one of the cabins that's been extended into a large porch. Although the new kitchen wasn't still working, haveing that space was an absolutely fantastic experience. sitting there, listening to the sounds of the rainforest, chatting away.
The fruit breakfast is truly fantastic. Even south american fruits from our home country. We were delighted. The shared kitchen for breakfast was very good, and there were coffee beans for you to grind and put in a plunger. Open dining space with birds and lizards around if you're lucky.
Something to note: there are only 5 cabins here!! I thought there were many more when I booked and thought it would be a more touristic thing, but was pleasantly surprised to see it was just 5, it's all mostly run by the owners who are super friendly, and you really feel you're having an exclusive experience.
Did I say the bed at the cabin was a King bed??!! it was all so nice.... nothing
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - The owners were more then welcoming & very knowledgeable about not only the fruits on the farm but the surrounding area.
Excellent place to unwind & relax.
- Chris (10/5): Coming back - Lovely tropical fruit every morning.Beautiful hosts and ideal location
- Leigh (8/5): the cabins were beautiful and extremely clean but it would have been nice to cook for ourselves privately - very quiet communal dining
- Alan (9/5): off the grid with nice people. - off the grid. clean, fresh, relaxed. the small cabin was a tad too small. Jeremy is in process of rectifying that.
- Peter (9/5): Feel lucky to have had the experience! - Away from the madding crowd, peaceful and rural, yet close by all of the great things about the Cape. A nice stay, easy going hosts and other staff who keep the farm in good shape. Very pleasant. And the exotic fruits served at breakfast are an experience not to be missed. Also the off grid experience is , in itself, quite educational. Nothing to report!
- Christine (10/5): What a fantastic place, everyone was kind, it was a little oasis that we absolutely loved. -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fran (10/5): We had a marvellous time thanks to the friendly staff and stunning location, we’ll be back - Loved the beautiful location , tropical fruit breakfasts, comfortable bed and friendly staff nothing
- Kim (8/5): Suited our needs - Excellent assortment of fruits n jam N/A
- Reece (10/5): Relaxing and quiet stay in a great location. - Gorgeous quiet cabins on a fruit farm with exceptional fruit breakfast every morning.
