Guest Reviews
- Allen (9/5): It was a privilege to be in Eve’s home and share in her love of life, art and beauty. -
- Denise (10/5): - All to myself Table fit for king and private chef
- Mark (8/5): The Right Place To Hide Away - Book my stay in the recommendation of a friend. It was comfortable, quirky and very pleasant. It was nice to be staying outside f Whitehorse.
Clear instructions on how to access the property, and my room were made available. No issues with sharing the two bathrooms with other guests once settled in.
The room reminded me of an old English home. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well.
Breakfast was fresh, and communal. I enjoyed the company of some travellers from Montreal. Plenty of coffee available :)
I would stay here again, if I ever pass through again. I did not encounter any issues during my stay but feel confident saying that if I had they would have been resolved quickly.
- nicolette (10/5): - Incredible breakfast. Made me think of our travels in europe.
- Hailey (10/5): Awesome place with wonderful hosting staff. - Location, value, breakfast, cool decor Nothing
- Alonso (10/5): - Super cozy place. Breakfast was really good

- Charlotte (10/5): Best place in Whitehorse- clean and comfy, very accommodating. Owner is a gem! - Everything. Such a neat place to stay lots of history here - everything is clean in the beds are comfortable. There is nothing to not like here
- Cheryl (1/5): - Nothing. Breakfast was terrible!
- Sead Jenma (9/5):
- Craig (9/5): - Host and staff were great and it is a nice location. No tv or hot tub
- Anastasia (10/5): Lovely stay - in lovely location with beautifully setting all around - It was just a lovely property. In an amazing location and the house was so nice decorated and it felt like going back in time. Room was spacious lovely views and very nice decor. Very nice hosts and breakfast was amazing. We also loved that we met the hosts dogs 🐕 they were adorable N/a
- Craig (9/5): - Nice place and great staff

- Debra (8/5): - I loved the location and the host in particular was fabulous! I thought it was a little pricey but we enjoyed our room and we did have our own seating area and washroom inside the room which was nice. I'm assuming that would be the reason for the pricing. Your own transportation to get around I would say is recommended...it's out of the way but that is one of the reasons we chose this location. We found it to be hot in the house/room and the windows not that easy to open, however we are cold weather folks so I'm sure I know many people who would have loved the temperature of the house especially after a day of snowy dog sledding or skiing which we didnt do. Overall it was a wonderful stay. I enjoyed the quiet nights, the country setting and Eva's company in the evening and at 98, what an interesting person! see above
- Anne (10/5): An unforgettable vacation! - Hidden Valley is at a great location, away from the city light pollution to view the aurora borealis yet not too far to get into town. Eva and her staff/family are truly hospitable; they made us feel like going home for a holiday. The house is cozy and Jocelyn's breakfasts are delicious! We didn't have to travel far to view the aurora borealis, just step out to the front yard : )
Eva - thank you for making our stay wonderful and a chance to meet other guests from different parts of the world!! There was nothing we didn't like. : )
- Alfredo (10/5): Very comfortable - Everything Nothing
- Adam (6/5): -
- John (10/5): Great stay outside of Whitehorse. Very quiet and comfortable. - I liked the size of the Cappuccino Room we were in. The bed was comfortable. Very quiet! Nice setting.
- Amanda (10/5): -
- Chuck (10/5): Well worth a stay. - Beautiful home, very well kept, everyone was very friendly and personable. The breakfast was delicious and a good amount too. We hope to return and stay again on our way back home. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
- Mary (8/5): Nice and cozy. God breakfast. - The place was very nice. Beautiful flowers all around. The room was a bit small, but was sufficient for 1 night.
- Stuart (9/5): Overall recommended. - Wonderful staff, beautiful, clean quiet room. Convenient to town center. Excellent breakfast. During one of our showers the water pressure fell to a drizzle.
- Martinee J. (10/5): Awesome - Thank you all for the kindness and hospitality.
- Christianne (9/5): - We were able to see the northern lights from our bedroom. The breakfast was lovely and the location was superb. Nothing
- kimio (6/5): -
- haruki (1/5): -
- Rikako (9/5): -
- Sead Jenma (9/5): -
- Marina (6/5): -

- Darrell (10/5): -
- Mikako (8/5): -
- Rachael (1/5): Hard pass! - The location There was no heat, we froze all night and had to sleep in our hooded coats and warm clothes. All the guests experienced the same issue. No staff stay in the house. The staff girl stated “I’ll check” turns out “yea sorry we ran out of gas to heat the house” 👀 “my boss will call you today or tomorrow about giving you money back” but also here’s the debit machine and the tip function (tipped her $10 out of both pressure and courtesy) Still not a single word. As polite as the young woman cooking was, she cannot cook well. I was so excited to stay here based on the reviews and what a massive let down. My kid and I both ended up sick from being in the freezing cold all night (-6 that night but -12 with windchill). To not even get an apology is disgusting, but let’s be clear I want a refund for my stay and an apology. Burnt breakfast, no heat, ended up now with a cold(s) and it’s crickets from both booking.com and this facility. There are so many better options out there.
- Congcong (1/5): Totally not worth it. - Breakfast To be honest, this is the tiniest room I have ever stayed, as a frequent traveller. It basically only has room for a bed, and you can not leave the luggage open even. No desk for personal makeup etc. Even the wardrobe is full of the host’s stuff. The wall is not soundproof either. Bad sleep. The only good thing is the breakfast, and maybe the location if you are lucky enough to be here in a day that has active northern light. No clue why it has such a good rating. Worst cost-effective experience.
- Chun-Yi (9/5): -
- Richard (10/5): Great stay - Quite an exceptional stay. A little outside town, but all the better for that. Very disnctive, friendly and informal. Staff excellent. Great breakfast. Would recommend. Nothing comes. to mind
- Lok Yi (10/5): - breakfast is amazing. the house is very beautiful, with comfortable beds. Amazing environment for seeing aurora.
- Timothy (8/5): Great location and great home. - Great location out of Whitehorse, house was great both inside and outside. Breakfast was great along with the staff. The room was small for 2 person but suitable for a 1 night stay.
- Kathleen (6/5): Okay. - MaryAnn and Jocelyn were very agreeable and friendly. The breakfast was a disappointment, not the gourmet meal as advertised. We stayed for a week and had to change rooms for the last night due to a mixup with our reservation. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were lumpy. The Capuccino room was a good size with its own seating area. The house was in a lovely area. The hot water took a while to arrive in the bathroom and was not really hot but just warm enough to get into. Very low water pressure. The shower head sprayer holes were mostly plugged and needed cleaning out. The inside of the house and the outside and garden all need the attention of a proficient handy man (eg. some windows missing openers, some electrical plugs not working, rooms need sprucing up, clean out shower heads, etc.). All are looking somewhat neglected.
- Hans Juergen (8/5): -
- Johanne (9/5): Bien apprécié - Bel endroit Un peu loin du centre ville
- Timothy (9/5): Truly worth staying at and with an amazing breakfast. - The location was good, the accommodation was great, a nice big room with very comfortable beds and excellent bathroom ammenities. There were spacious areas to relax around the property both inside and out. The highlight was the breakfast, it was simple amazing, consisting of an omelette, toast, roasted potatoes and along with a plate of pancakes and maple syrup and washed done with juice and coffee, you could not ask for a better start to the day. Looking forward to staying again and more than happy to recommend to others.
- John (5/5): Somewhat institutional. - Nice physical appearance of house and common areas. Advertised as dog friendly but with limits. You are advised to pick up your dog’s excrement but there were other dogs on property frequently but they pooped all over.
The staff were fine for the tasks assigned by the absentee owner who was not there in our visit. They were all recent immigrants to the area from elsewhere and had limited knowledge of area attractions. We are familiar in B&B stay throughout the world where operators were invaluable in providing visitors with advice on must sees, local customs etc and this property lacked that personal knowledge touch and assistance.
- Patricia (7/5): - Lovely large home with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Full breakfast included and we had a room with our own private bathroom. Very comfortable. Water in the taps and shower was just warm, not hot
- Amy (8/5): - Good breakfast
- Harald (10/5): -
- Harald (10/5): -
- Anna (10/5): A hidden gem in Whitehorse - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Excellent customer service. The breakfast was huge and freshly cooked.
- Molly (10/5): -
- Maryjanowski (9/5): - Spacious and wonderful breakfast.
- Sergio (8/5): -
- Christine (8/5): - The location was great, the staff were great, easy check in. Staff were very accommodating giving us a great tea (we didn't have to drive back into Whitehorse).. We had the cappuccino room which was large and had a bathroom in it. Small thing: drinking glasses needed. Noisy during the night/early morning?? when other guests probably arrived late.
- Paul (8/5): We would stay there again - The accommodations were very nice. The house was exceptional The 3 young women did a nice job It would have been nice to know all the rules before arrival. We had hoped to use the hot tub but it was covered with branches and debris from the woods. It would have been nice to see and talk to the owners.
- Brooks (10/5): Much better than downtown Whitehorse. - Infinitely good. Nicest people. Slava Ukraini! More moose. A bear or two.
- Steeves (10/5): -
- Peter (7/5): Excellent location, great communication and great staff, - Location and quiet A first night was in the Cappuccino room and was excellent. Large room and great bed. Our second stay was 5 nights later in the Blue room. Tiny and needs better mattresses and pillows. Breakfast was great.
- Steeves (10/5): -
- Maria (10/5): Great spot close to the Eclipse Nordic Spa. Friendly and inviting. - Loved the property and accessibility. Large windows beautiful gardens. Themed rooms. Friendly accommodating staff.
- Clinton (9/5): Wonderful. I stayed there twice on my vacation and would highly recommend this place to anyone. - Great rooms. Friendly staff. Nothing
- Eugene (10/5): -
- Peter (10/5): - Beautiful, quiet and clean.
- Sonja (10/5): -
- Clinton (9/5): Would highly recommend staying here. - Great location, friendly staff and good food. This place was great.
- David (8/5): - Bloody dog kept me awake barking all night.
- Susanna (6/5): -
- Erika (9/5): Quiet, relaxing place with nice garden area. Wonderful, delicious breakfast - Beautiful flowers/garden area. Located in quiet area. Comfortable bed/room. Fantastic LARGE breakfast with good coffee. Lots of room available for relaxing! Easy check in. During summer months, don't forget eyeshade as day light well into nighttime hours
- Kelsey (10/5): - Great breakfast, dog friendly,
- rob (7/5): Good value and great breakfast. - Even thou out of town it is easy to get to and from Whitehorse. Close to Eclipse Spa which is a must attend. The outdoor foliage is overgrown in many key areas, if the grounds area were cleaned up (minimal work required) the place would be outstanding.
- Melanie (9/5): Wonderful Cozy Location - Wonderful location being just a bit outside of Whitehorse and close to the Eclipse Nordic hot springs.
Beautiful home. You can tell the owner has had a life well lived and travelled by how she has decorated. Felt cozy and inviting.
Staff are great. Breakfast was delicious. We had decided to change our plans and leave a bit later on checkout and requested breakfast on the sheet for 7. Because we had made that decision late the staff were not prepared but quickly put together a hot breakfast which we truly appreciated. Hot tip, make your breakfast decision daily and early to help them be ready for you! Walls are thin which is expected in an older home. First night didn’t hear a thing but second night was woken by someone snoring in the next room and mid night by something hitting the floor. This isn’t any fault of the host just heads up for those who might need to pack some ear plugs or wish for quiet.
- Chan (8/5): -
- Mono (10/5): -
- Jeffrey (7/5): -
- Qiujun (8/5): - Very good breakfast, comfort rooms and beds. Excellent environments. Staff and the host are all very nice. The house is old, some facilities are old as well.
- Kelsey (10/5): - Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, really cool atmosphere and lots of different spaces you can relax.
- Tumbleweed (7/5): B&B Stay - The hosts were very nice, very accommodating and kind. We loved the surroundings, landscaping, views, and patio, and the shower was really nice. The inside is beautiful and very homey. The breakfast was awesome. It was my birthday and I felt like a queen! Oh, the older black dog and bobtail kitty were so adorable! We really enjoyed our stay The twin beds in the blue room were not very comfortable. The toilet was way too low to the floor. It was difficult for us to use as we are elderly and both
disabled.
- john (9/5): -
- Corey (9/5): Scenic B&B - The area that it is located is so picturesque. The owner/hostess Eva was very kind, welcoming, and informative. The house and yard had plenty of room to explore and relax.
I was worried about the single beds but being 6foot3 I still fit on it. The shower pressure was a little lacking.
- Deborah (7/5): -
- Philip (8/5): - Really nice bed and breakfast in a beautiful area (we had a great morning walk). The accommodation is a bit old fashioned but that's exactly the charm of the place.
- Andy (9/5): - Lovely quiet location with a fantastic breakfast.
- Jürgen (10/5): Hidden Valley B&B offered a spotless, welcoming stay with a delicious breakfast and heartfelt hospitality — even our - Hidden Valley B&B was spotless, beautifully decorated, and served an excellent breakfast. Friendly service and a warm welcome for our dog made it feel like home. Highly recommended!
- ZIQING (7/5): -
- David (9/5): -
- Giannino (7/5): Pleasant but disappointing to have lost a ring there. - Welcoming & secluded.
Good breakfast & friendly owner & staff. Left a jade bead ring at the location ( Red room). Was definitely there.
Called a couple hours after leaving but staff could not find it. 🙁 Not a very expensive ring but had sentimental value.
