Holly (10/5): The best hotel in Ubatuba!!! - Everything!!! It is paradise, perfection. We extended by a night as we didn’t want to leave. Excellent pool, gym and jacuzzi. Amazing restaurant on site. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Brazil. Very comfortable rooms. Right on the beach, and with a buggy service to get you there and back which is so well organised. Stay here whilst in Ubatuba area!!! The pillows for the standard of the hotel were terrible. It is also rather expensive for the area but worth it for what you get, so it’s all relative.

Christian (10/5): Pure Erholung. Wunderschöne Tage dort verbracht. - Wunderschöne Aussicht auf den Strand. Der kostenlose Transfer zum Strand war klasse. Das Beach House am Strand war auch prima. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Der Küchenchef ist auch super nett und das Essen sehr lecker. Die Aussicht beim Abendessen und frühstücken ist unglaublich. Der Pool ist beheizt und wir haben viel Zeit dort verbracht. Sonnenuntergang im Pool mit dieser Aussicht - atemberaubend schön. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

O corredor de acesso é abafado,tem um ventilador barulhento, que precisei desligar pois incomodava dormir. Na madrugada tive que chamar na recepção por um barulho que incomodava muito, que descobri que era do chuveiro do outro quarto, que é realmente muito barulhento e ainda ouvia os passos das pessoas do andar de cima,o ar não funcionava, uma luz piscando no teto do quarto a noite toda, acredito ser de incêndio, só fiquei uma noite ,por isso nem notifiquei. Parece que estavam reformando o acesso a escada que estava fechada com um tapume, mesmo tendo uma maçaneta é desconfortante, para quem tem dificuldade com lugares fechados, pode gerar mal estar... Isso atrapalhou bastante minha experiência

No outro quarto tinha um vazamento de água e em todos os quartos achamos a pia do banheiro sem espaço para colocar os pertences. Houve tbm divergência nas contas.

A localização é ótima, próxima a praia da enseada, bem tranquila, sem ondas, a descida para a praia e a subida para o hotel a pé é um pouco difícil, vale como exercício físico, mas tem transfer disponivel a todo momento. A vista é maravilhosa, que compensa qualquer dificuldade. O preço e variedades das refeições.

Definitely the perfect location to reconnect to nature, enjoy the gorgeous landscape and getting pampered by the friendly Hotel service. Especially to mention is the great Beach Service with Food/Drinks and accommodating personnel. Breakfast buffet was always a highlight with local specialties and extra care in preparation.

Annkristin (8/5): - Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Catalina Hotel in Ubatuba. Die Lage ist wirklich super – für uns der beste Strand in Ubatuba! Der Blick ist traumhaft und man ist direkt am Meer, was den Aufenthalt besonders entspannt gemacht hat. Auch das Frühstück war gut, frisch und absolut ausreichend für einen gelungenen Start in den Tag. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist die Einrichtung der Zimmer. Diese ist eher spartanisch und wirkt nicht besonders hochwertig. Hier gäbe es definitiv noch Verbesserungspotenzial.

Zoe (6/5): A visually appealing hotel, but the experience did not justify the price charged. - The bed was very comfortable and the room itself was a good size. The view was beautiful, especially overlooking the surrounding nature and coastline. Several issues during our stay were not properly resolved, including maintenance problems in the room, lack of follow-up after issues were reported, and poor communication from staff. We also contacted the hotel privately after our stay to discuss these concerns but did not receive any meaningful follow-up. Additionally, an interaction with a member of reception staff on our final day felt dismissive and lacked empathy at a time when I was unwell, which further detracted from the experience. Breakfast was very limited for vegan guests despite this being noted in advance, and given the high nightly rate, the overall service did not represent good value for money.

Com bastante privacidade e, quarto bem espaçoso e com oferta de um serviço promissor que, precisava de mais atenção para a comunicação com a receção pois é exclusivamente via WhatsApp, e, a senhora demorou demasiado para responder. Outra coisa que já seria ideal ter na casa da praia são taças de vinho, champagne e etc. Pois há no frigobar opções de drinks e não há copos no quarto, sendo necessário demandar na receção, levou bué tempo. O caminho para chegar a casa é uma miséria, a rua de acesso não vale nada, parece a Índia, nem mesmo há espaço suficiente para manobrar a viatura em questão, e a rotunda é feita mesmo na areia da praia, com banhistas no areal. Uma coisa que, mesmo sendo orientado pelo staff para conseguir entrar a casa, creio eu não ser legal e, passível de multa ao condutor.

Rodrigo (7/5): Vista linda. - A localização é excelente. A equipe do hotel é muito boa mesmo, pessoas bem educadas e solicitas. Restaurante bom. O ar-condicionado do quarto não resfriava e gotejava insistentemente. De tal modo que não pude deixar o ar ligado. É inaceitável que um quarto com a diária em mais de dois mil reais apresente esse tipo de problema. Assim que fix o check-in um membro da equipe me disse que hóspedes que reclamam do ar, na verdade, estavem esquecendo alguma entrada de ar aberta, o que, em si, causava o problema de não resfriamento e gotejamento. Pois bem, eu e minha esposa, conferimos separadamente todas as entradas de ar possíveis, e estava de fato tudo fechado, e mesmo assim tivemos problemas. Achei de muito mal tom, haja visto o preço da acomodação. Isso precisa ser arrumado para ontem.

Viajo muito Em temporada devem rever quadro de funcionarios, pois pedi um simples lanche ao chegar depois de 4 hrs de viagem e se nao vou buscar o lanche nao vinha. So havia uma pessoal disponivel. Mas o recepcionista foi muito gentil e foi ate a cozinha buscar.

Die Mitarbeiter der Poolbar waren Weltklasse. Das Frühstück und das Restaurant waren super. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Der Strand ist ein paar Minuten entfernt. Das ist aber kein Problem. Es gibt ein kostenloses Shuttle.
Rodrigo (9/5): Vista sem igual - por favor leia - A localização é maravilhosa. Todos os quartos têm vista para o mar (e o pôr do sol). O quarto em si é espaçoso e muito confortável, com cama grande e mesa de escritório (pelo menos no meu quarto que bak tinha varanda). A janela é grande e tem uma cortina blackout. A posição do quarto é meio longe da cama, mas o quarto fica frio, então não é um problema. O café da manhã é 10, com muitas opções de tudo: frutas, bolos, pães, ovos, omelete, cafés, etc. Vale muito à pena. A piscina e a jacuzzi ficam em ligar privilegiados e são aquecidos. Elas são também juntas do restaurante e do bar, o que cria uma atmosfera legal pra assistir o pôr do sol. A praia é bem próxima - dá pra ir a pé ou no carrinho do hotel, com direito a cadeiras e guarda sol incluídos, o que deixa a experiência conveniente. Os funcionários da recepção são ótimos e prestativos. **Falar de sinalização de saída de emergência** Fiquei no andar -1, e não tinha ideia onde era a escada de emergência. A única escada que vi era na direção oposta à pouca sinalização que tem. Isso tem que ser mudado urgentemente e bem sinalizado **Restaurante (no jantar)** Eu e todo mundo do restaurante passamos mais de uma hora esperando a comida. Alguns dos garçons simplesmente não checam a mesa e todo mundo fica esperando por vários minutos até aparecer alguém pra atender. Eu cheguei 20:10 e só recebi meu prato as 21:20. Quando fui pedir a sobremesa, o garçom falou que a cozinha já estava fechada porque estava muito tarde, e disse que eu deveria ter chegado mais cedo. O restaurante claramente precisa de uma gerência mais eficiente que acompanhe a cozinha e se os funcionários estão sobrecarregados ou não..Deveriam avisar pra todos os hóspedes a estimativa de tempo dos pratos para evitar essas grandes esperas de possível. **Banheiro** O banheiro do quarto tem um design meio estranho, meio mal projetado. A porta de vidro do box é maior que o espaço que ela ocupa, e também bate na cortina da janela do banheiro, que por sua vez não encaixa na já ela e fica raspando no canto, sendo danificada e danificando o rejunte. Talvez uma porta de correr e uma de vidro opaco resolveriam o problema, pra evitar deixar o espaço tão apertado.

Sean (8/5): Beautiful area and hotel, we loved our stay! - Amazing views, very good service and friendly staff made our stay super enjoyable. The hotel room we had enjoyed a pristine view of the bay and we were only five minutes walk to the beach via a well laid path. We'd stay again. Money exchange services are not available at reception (although this seems to be a standard in Brasil). Make sure you have some Real in cash ahead of your trip to this area because money exchange is difficult to come by and card machines are sometimes fickle with international cards. I had some issues confirming payment was made initially, and then was double debited the day before arriving, which added some admin to the stay, but the staff were attentive to the issues and ultimately resolve d the queries.

Equipe do hotel muito gentil e atenciosa. o serviço de praia e de restaurante são muito bons . Areas comum são bem limpas e organizadas. O rooftop é lindo e muito bem decorado , porém não foi utilizado por mim e outros hóspedes, sugiro que a gerência do hotel crie algo para levar os hóspedes para lá e incentivar o uso .

The beach is lively, and the hotel has regular shuttles there, or you can walk (but it is up hill and hot during the middle of the day). The pool is great, and staff were lovely (especially the front desk). Amazing value for money! While it is a new build, there are some design flaws of the room for example, the bathroom window faces out to the hotel walkway. The food and breakfast was okay - it would be great to have omelette service, or barista service. The gym could be improved.

Kate (9/5): Impressed - The pool and hot tub area, close proximity to a lovely beach which was busy but not too busy. The hotel’s beach facilities were excellent. Nothing - everything was impressive. If you’re mega unfit you’re going to struggle to walk to the beach but that’s an issue for you, not for the hotel. If you have mobility issues they take you down in the car. We saw it as an opportunity to get a few steps in and enjoyed the short walk.

A única queixa é em relação à limpeza do quarto, eles só limpam se deixar na porta o aviso de disponível para limpar e essa informação consta no formulário de check-in, mas quem lê esse formulário por completo? Enfim, esse detalhe precisa estar bem claro para evitar aborrecimentos com os hóspedes. Da falta de clareza na comunicação sobre a limpeza e arrumação do quarto.
