• Thüne (8/5): Es war ein schönes Erlebnis, eine wirkliche Abwechslung zu den gewöhnlichen Orten und Unterkünften. - Generell eine schnuckelige kleine Pension, sehr schöne Aussicht, in den Hügeln von santa Teresa gelegen. Das Personal extrem freundlich. Die Infrastruktur von Pool, Restaurantbereich etc. extrem gut Dimensioniert für 8 Zimmer. Durch die Lage auf dem Hügel ist die Pension etwas ab vom Schuss, es gibt allerdings 5 Minuten fußläufig entlang der Tram Schienen, einige nette kleine Bars und Restaurants, im Hippie Style aber sehr angenehm. Bei Ankunft war die Pension nicht direkt zu finden, da keinerlei Außenwerbung/Namen. Es ist mitunter schwierig ein Uber zu bekommen, viele wollen nicht in die Gegen fahren. Zu Fuß kann man nicht zu viel "ausrichten".

Ohne Taxi oder uber kaum möglich, besonders abends

Nous avions une grande chambre au RDC, dans laquelle il n'y a pas de veritables fenêtres vers l'extérieur. Ca donne un côte cave. Chambre minimaliste, monacale. Une grande serviette/personne, c'est juste : ayant les cheveux longs, j'ai besoin d'une 2e plus petite serviette. La piscine ne semblait manquer d'entretien, certaines chaises longues très abîmées.

I enjoyed the calmess in the hotel. Great if you are not rushed and want to relax. None of the staff speaks english. The breakfast is very late - starts at 8am and very slow service. It’s quickly 10am before you finish it which isn’t ideal for efficiency. The dinner is only served until 7pm. No bar service really. No 24/7 hours reception (you need to pay extra outside their hours).

• Katarzyna (10/5): Świetne miejsce na relaks. - Przyjechaliśmy na miejsce samochodem, jeśli jedziecie samochodem nie wybierajcie pionowego wjazdu do góry :) spokojnie można wjechać łagodniejszą uliczką. Hotelik cichy, niepozorny z zewnątrz, w środku zaskakujący, pokoje czyste, śniadania bardzo dobre i różnorodne. Można zamówić na miejscu kolację, więc po podróży można odpocząć i zrelaksować się w basenie. Roślinność wspaniała. Samochód zostawiliśmy pod hotelem i po Rio poruszaliśmy się uberami i taksówkami. W hotelu można zamówić taksówkę. Widoki z tarasu przy basenie wspaniałe. Spędziliśmy tam 4 noce. Polecam to miejsce! Wszytko było super.
• france (4/5): Bel emplacement mais service et prestations laissant à désirer - L’emplacement au cœur de santa Teresa La vue La chambre qui devait être prête à 14h n’a été accessible qu’à 16h au prétexte que les occupants précédents l’avaient laissée en grand désordre Nous avons donc dû patienter deux heures sans qu’on ne nous offre le moindre verre d’eau. Le lendemain le nettoyage de la chambre n’a pas été effectué et le mitigeur de la douche , cassé, n’avait pas été réparé. Le troisième jour nous avons enfin pu nous doucher ! Wi fi peu performant Petit déjeuner offrant des jus allongés et des options payantes

• Reane (9/5): Une petit paradis niché sur les hauteurs de Santa Teresa - Un véritable havre de paix perché sur les hauteurs de Rio. L’hôtel est situé sur une colline, offrant une vue absolument magnifique sur la ville. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très confortables, avec une literie de grande qualité et une propreté irréprochable. La salle de bain est grande et très agréable, et la petite terrasse privée est un vrai plus qui fait toute la différence. L’établissement a le charme d’une maison d’hôtes, niché au cœur de la végétation, avec une décoration moderne et soignée. L’environnement est tout simplement superbe, entouré de verdure, avec des vues à couper le souffle sur Rio de Janeiro. Le personnel est adorable, accueillant et bienveillant. L’espace petit-déjeuner, avec sa terrasse donnant sur la ville, est un vrai moment de plaisir, tout comme la piscine située en contrebas avec une vue splendide et une eau très agréable. Les petits déjeuners sont bons et on se sent vraiment bien dans cet hôtel, où tout est réuni pour passer un excellent séjour. Le seul point à prendre en compte concerne l’accès à l’hôtel. Situé dans le quartier de Santa Teresa, sur les hauteurs, avec des rues pavées et étroites, la circulation peut être compliquée. Nous avons eu plusieurs annulations de courses Uber et taxis, et avons même dû attendre environ une heure pour trouver un véhicule pour rejoindre l’aéroport. Il faut donc être prêt à marcher un peu ou anticiper ses déplacements.

• Mark (10/5): - Lovely quiet location where we could relax after seeing the marvels of the city. Our room was huge and the breakfast great. The staff were very friendly and even made a picknick lunch for us for when we went on a day walking tour in the Tijuca national park. Would highly recommend.

• Sinead (10/5): Exceptional - a little gem in the heart of Santa Teresa! - I had a truly wonderful time experience in Boutique Hotel Castelinho. From the moment I arrived, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It is perfectly located just two minutes from heart of Santa Teresa, which made exploring the area so convenient and enjoyable. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the team. A special thank you to Amanda, Ana Luiza and Beatrice, who were absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to ensure I was welcomed throughout my stay. My room was equally impressive - thoughtfully designed with superb attention to detail and a modern style that fits so perfectly with the artistic vibe of the neighbourhood. It was the perfect sanctuary to return to after exploring. I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone looking to stay in Santa Teresa. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Nothing!

O hotel é lindo, muito bem cuidado e extremamente aconchegante. Fui muito bem recebido pela equipe, todos foram atenciosos e prestativos durante toda a estadia. La piscine avec la vue est vraiment magnifique, c’est un vrai plus. La chambre ainsi que la salle de bain étaient très jolies et confortables. Le quartier de Santa Teresa est charmant et authentique, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus spécial. • Teresa (5/5): Pode melhorar - A localização do hotel é muito boa, perto dos melhores pontos de Santa Tereza, dá para sair pelo bairro andando. Os funcionários são muito prestativos e atenciosos. O hotel tem uma vista linda e a piscina é ótima. A recepção só funciona até às 20h. Ficamos sem internet todas as noites e não tínhamos com quem reclamar. Qualquer problema a partir das 20h não tem como ser resolvido já que não há contato de emergência, sequer para conseguir uma água ou refrigerante. A qualidade dos travesseiros é muito ruim. Em um dos dias, não tinha tapete de banheiro, mesmo o quarto tendo uma banheira, nos deram toalhas de banho para serem usadas no chão. Quando chegamos tinha areia no lençol da cama. Nos ambientes comuns, a playlist repete o tempo inteiro, com músicas "clichê" para estrangeiros. São pequenos ajustes que, com carinho e cuidado, podem ser facilmente resolvidos para que se torne um hotel sensacional.

Good location in S Teresa - Nice breakfast but a buffet style would be easier all round. this hotel was a substitute when another let us down, and we were expecting something of similar standard. No pool towels and too few staff to answer queries /assist. Both receptionists were charming, but the basins had no plugs, the wc seemed to block up and there were nails sticking out of the floorboards.

View from the restaurant and pool area is great. Comfortable bed and clean rooms. Boutique refers only to the size of the hotel, but there is nothing else that you might expect from boutique hotels. Lack of attention to details, toiletries, towels, pool water cleanliness, common elements bathroom, overgrown and unattended landscaping.

The breakfast was very good and the staff at breakfast very nice. Our room was disappointing for the price we paid , furniture stained and suite unattractive. They had not left any towels in the room and as we arrived late we couldn’t get any until the next day and after our flight we had really wanted to shower. We stayed 3 nights, room service came once - made the bed , didn’t change the towels. There is WiFi but didn’t work in our room- we had one of the suites in the garden not the main house

• GONZALO (1/5): Mas que un Hotel Boutique, Un hostal (a precio de hotel boutique) - - el hotel queda sin recepcionista a las 8 pm (te entregan una llave y nadie atiende después de las 8 pm). el riesgo es quedarse encerrado en la cabina del ascensor o que necesite ayuda con algo y nadie te asiste (tampoco contestan el wsap) - el personal no habla español ni tampoco ingles - de las 2 noches que estuvimos en el hotel, un día no nos hicieron la cama, ni limpieza ni cambio de toallas (muy desagradable después de estar todo el día fuera recorriendo Río y llegar por la noche sin que esté limpia tu habitación) - el frigobar no tiene agua solo gaseosas (pedimos agua y no tomaron en cuenta nuestro requerimiento) - existe una maquina nespresso en la habitación pero sin capsulas ni tampoco agua para recargarla - en el desayuno no hay agua, tampoco leche ni mermelada. tienes que pedirlo al personal de cocina tu mismo. en definitiva más que un hotel boutique es un hostal (con precio de hotel boutique) porque el trato es deficiente y el servicio malo. a decir verdad arruinó nuestra estadía en Río.

Merkwürdiges Eggs Benedict: Als der Chefkoch scheinbar nicht anwesend war, hat man uns gleichwohl das gleiche Menü angeboten. Als dann die Eggs Benedict kamen, waren sie ungeniessbar. Besser wäre es gewesen, von Anfang an offen zu kommunizieren und die Eggs Benedict gar nicht anzubieten. Auch die Fruchtsäfte waren etwas geschmackslos. Sonst: Etwas teuer, daher Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht optimal.

Muy amables, todo muy cuidado, tranquilo, seguro, unas vistas maravillosas y un restaurante delicioso. Volveremos.

• James (10/5): Definitely recommend for a relaxing time in Rio with a short walk to nearby bars a restaurants. - Great location for a relaxing start to our trip to Rio. The room was a good size with lots of room for us to decompress. The show and bathroom were very nice. The swimming pool and terrace area were fantastic and the service and hospitality of the staff were top notch. The mattress was a little soft for my liking, but I have found that is quite common in LATAM. The fridge was quite noisy at night and we had to un plug it.
• Arno (9/5): Goed hotel op een mooie locatie. - Goede bedden, ruime kamers, goed ontbijt ( met fantastisch uitzicht. In vergelijk met ons vorige bezoek vond ik het personeel wat minder hartelijk. Prijstechnisch vind ik het hotel aan de hoge kant. Wat ik heel vervelend vind is dat als je later aankomt met het vliegtuig dat je bij het later inchecken meteen extra geld moet betalen. Zeker vervelend als ik mijn zoon (woonachtig in Rio) in de middag heb laten inchecken. Hij kreeg alleen de sleutel niet mee. Om die te krijgen zou ik evengoed moeten betalen.

• qiyun (4/5): - 早餐还可以 所谓四星级酒店，其实不过是一个民宿。位置较偏，在半山腰，出行不便。网上预订时没有标明20:00后入住需额外加收费用，入住前却告知超过20:00入住，需加收160巴西雷亚尔。一个所谓四星级酒店，20:00后入住叫超时接待。我们刚好就是20:20左右入住，所以酒店加收了费用。
