• fernanda (7/5): Legal... - Muiito bem localizado, no meio da vila madalena, bar ótimo e local bem legal. Tive problema pra entrar. Trocaram a senha da porta e não me avisaram antes do check in, omo não tem recepção, demorei a conseguir enrar. O pessoal do bar teve que vir me ajudar.

• Far (4/5): - buena ubicacion, y buen ambiente entre los huespedes el staff se desentiende de todo, la chica se la pasa en el baño maquillandose en horas que se necesita el baño y solo hay dos baños, impresentable.

• Shivanii (4/5): Disappointing - Location No liquid soap in the bathroom No hairdryer No trash can in the room There was no electricity in the hostel for more than 24 hours, all other places around the area had electricity except our hostel. We had to change hostel on the night of the 3rd of July, we told them and they didn’t offer a monetary compensation. We were charging our phones in the bar next door. There was already no electricity in the hostel around 230pm on the 2nd of July, the staff said it’ll be back after 24 hours, we waited, after 24 hours and still no electricity we booked another hostel. I texted a Brazilian friend and asked if this is normal and she said they don’t take more than 24 hours to come and fix the electricity. It’s a strange way to run a hostel I think. I was in Cambodia in 2015, there was a black out in town for 2 hours but the hostels, cafes and restaurants had generators to provide the customers with electricity. I was charging my phone and laptop in the hostel and even ordered a meal for delivery in Cambodia during the black out. I am so disappointed. Brazil is way richer than Cambodia yet they have better and quality service in the hostel, electricity is a basic necessity that a hostel in the center of São Paulo cannot provide. I understand if we’re camping in the Amazon jungle, totally understandable to not have electricity but it’s 2025 in the center of São Paulo, Brazil, where the doors are digital, the hostel can afford digital doors but can’t afford proper electric generators to provide electricity to their customers, so we won’t have to go to other cafes to charge our phones, or to sacrifice shower because there’s no hot water not even liquid soap. I wasn’t able to take a shower because there was no hot shower because there was no electricity.
