• Natascha (8/5): Ideal für ein Städtetrip - Zimmer war groß und sauber. Frühstück war fantastisch und es gab einen Parkplatz zum Mieten in der Tiefgarage. Lage ist auch gut. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Gefehlt hat ein großer Spiegel, ein Kaffee-oder Getränkeautomat für späte Stunden und der Fön hatte keinerlei Leistung. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in der Summe jedoch stimmig. Wir kommen gerne wieder !

• trappa2ni (6/5): Bit noisy but ok - Spent one night, it was allright - a bit noisy for my liking but i slept well. Beds were comfortable! I could pretty much hear people watch tv through the walls, paperthin! But it felt very calm and of course a good location. A bit old with a small elevator, but i kind of liked it anyway. Didn't try breakfast
• dyhx (8/5): Good value - Back at our usual hotel everytime we are in Dusseldorf. I paid for a single room but got a slight upgrade to a double bed room but honestly, if it were 2 persons sharing, this would have been quite a squeeze. But me being alone, this was more than comfortable. Service staff are super nice and friendly, from front desk to breakfast service and housekeeping. Basic clean room, but bed and pillow are both too soft for my liking. Bathroom is clean, water pressure of the shower is good but the hair dryer is weak.  Location is rather convenient, with a direct bus to the Messe Centre, just 1 min walk away. There's also a Rewe supermarket just round the corner and quite some restaurants in the vicinity.  Breakfast spread is limited but I love the breads they offer and that's all I needed. On the morning of the last day, I left before breakfast operating hours and they had these packs ready for guests leaving early, with sandwiches, egg and fruit. How lovely.

• dyhx (6/5): Basic, but room for improvement - Rooms of varying sizes, I got the twin room which was spacious but my colleague who got the single room it was really small with just enough space to move around. Hotel WiFi was terrible, during the period I was there the hotel is at 100% occupancy so when it came to the night, the WiFi is also overloaded and unable to logon. Breakfast is basic, cold cuts, eggs, bread, cheese. Typical of German hotels generally. Service staff are mostly seniors but very friendly and warm. Has a direct bus to the Messe Centre fairground just outside the hotel, also walking distance to Victoria Platz Ubahn Station.
• dyhx (8/5): Breakfast restaurant makes you wanna wake up early. - Small hotel and small rooms but decent for singles. Rooms are labeled by city names, my room Los Angeles faces the street side and gets rather noisy at night which doesn't bother me much, but if sounds bothers you, best to request for a room facing the inside instead. As rooms are limited, best to request in advance. Room is basic, bathroom is a little small and old but clean. Lift is very small, while it says it could take 3 persons at a time, so far I've only made it with 2 persons at maximum when we are in our thick winter coats. With luggages, it can only fit 1. What I loved most is breakfast, the restaurant has a lovely glasshouse area with natural daylight, food is nothing wow typical basic fare, service is warm and friendly here. Location is pretty good, short walking distance to Victoria Platz U-Bahn Station and there's also a bus stop less than 100m away that brings you straight to the Messe Fairground. There's also a REWE supermarket just round the corner.
• infoG1174XQ (2/5): Back to the 80ies! - Rooms as small and charming as those of the 80ies. WLAN not working. Receptionist did not even know her own desk’s telephone number. Unfriendly staff. Elevator full of stickers with hotel’s „do’s and don’ts“ - one about fake hotel reviews not to be trusted. No value for money hotel. I will not return.
• MAUREJ (10/5): Nice quiet hotel - Wonderful hotel with very clean rooms and comfortable hotel. They have a very nice breakfast buffet with an attentive friendly staff. The hotel is within walking distance to the shops and many restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. I would definitely stay here again. The one draw back is there is no air conditioning but the windows open and the weather is very comfortable so it’s not really a problem.
• MRLKGD (10/5): Good location, great place to stay - I come here every year for the tradeshow. Great breakfast, clean rooms, strong hot shower, and friendly staff. FItness room is a big plus. Location is great, plenty of shops and stores just in walking distance. Will be back next year
• naggedman (8/5): Welcoming and helpful - useful secure parking - A one-night stay, comfortable, helpful and friendly, with an attractive breakfast room. As we were driving, the underground garage was very welcome - but you do need to book a space. Also good that one can get coffee in the reception area, along with help-yourself biscuits and sweets!
• georgesr133 (10/5): Great value for money - The location is advantageous, a walk away from the old town and the market.The service is good and the rooms are very clean. One problem is the wifi. U need to get a paper from the reception and log in again each time you leave the hotel. The breakfast is well varied. Some missing options like a vending machine and shoes polisher.
• Tamworthmatt (10/5): Reliable and clean for a business friendly price - No frills but spotlessly clean and reception staff who remember you. This is an honest, clean, reliable and well situated hotel for Düsseldorf and Düsseldorf airport. I'm a regular stayer and would recommend this highly.
• 896krzysztofs (10/5): Messa Dusseldorf - It was quickly visit in Dusseldorf. Nice hotel, serivis and very good breakfast in nice patio ;) good price for quality and 3 stars. Very good access to shops and restaurant arround hotel. Close to Ren river.
• Flyturner (8/5): Great short break - Clean crisp and tidy with good sized rooms. Plenty for breakfast but limited if you want a large cooked one. Staff were really friendly and efficient. It was around €25 taxi ride from the airport which only takes 15 mins Location is ideal with tram stop at the end of the street or just a 20 min walk into the old town. It is in the Pempelfort suburb which has some great traditional restaurants , all serving alt beer. Also some nice coffee bars nearby
• 668riccardom (6/5): No frills, but ok - I've been in this hotel during fall, it is conveniently located in the city center, close to public transportation. Rooms are spartan but clean, free wifi is available inside the room. Bath is quite basic. Choose this hotel if budget is limited, for a good tradeoff.
• Arijit81 (10/5): Brilliant - Stayed in this hotel for two nights on our visit to dusseldorf and cologne. Situated close to the centrum, the location of this hotel is perfect. It is beside the main street so if you need a quite room, request beforehand. Bus/Tram stop are just stone throw away from the location. Room is nice, spacious and a big bathroom. Underground car parking available. Comfort and pleasant stay. Breakfast is superb with lots of varieties and options. What else do you need ? Definitely worth staying. Good value for money.
• og84 (10/5): Positively surprised - If you are attending an event at the Messe, this is very convenient, as the hotel is located on the northern side of the Altstadt, but south of the Messe/convention center facilities. It is also relatively close to the Altstadt and a very short ride to the airport (less than 7 kms but an easy and quick connection). This hotel is quite easy to find and to access. The hotel has an underground parking garage, not large, but gated and guarded by a large roll up door. The breakfast is above average, and in addition to the indoor section, there is a glassed over dining terrace that looks out at a garden. We found the hotel to be very quiet, rooms were larger than is generally the case for such central city hotels of this level, the staff were super friendly. The hotel rooms do not have numbers but the names of various cities around the world, on the door. The only negative might be the elevator, which is very small, and at best accommodates three people, if they are not too large. Good value for your money too.
• so_voyage49 (10/5): Great find, convenient for Messe - This hotel is located between the old town and Messe. So you get direct access by bus or U-Bahn to the Messe, and can walk to the old town. The area of the hotel is not particularly interesting but it seems safe and there are a few restaurants. For this price it was much better than expected. The breakfast is included in the rate and it is excellent, lots of choices. The rooms are named after cities. I don't know if they are all the same but I asked for a quiet one and got "Bombay" (if I remember right), a double on the last floor next to the stairs, but no one's using them to climb to the 5th floor so no noise. The room had a decent size despite being under the roof. Double bed German style with 2 mattresses. Very good room/bathroom, must have been renovated recently, anyway in excellent condition.Free wifi. So, nothing spectacular but definitely good value, no complaint at all.
• BastiaanBS (6/5): Just good, great breakfast - We went to Dusseldorf for one night in the weekend. This hotel was a good choice for that, the room was big, clean and simple. Indeed a bit boring, like an other reviewer said. The bathroom was also big, but a bit outdated with a shower curtain and a showerhead that wouldn't stay in its holder. We had a room at the back, it was real quiet. The staff is friendly, polite, the atmosphere more business like and simple, kind of boring. We parked our car in the underground parking. Maybe we could also have found a parking place outside, but we just didn't do our best for that. It looks as if a parking place at the street is possible. The breakfast was really good. I loved the very fresh bread they had. That was special, a great taste. Forget the croissants and bread rolls, the bread is best. The hotel is in a quiet area. With the subway you are really fast in the Altstadt. The subway is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. You can also walk to the centre, it is not fat, about 15, 20 minutes.
