• Teymuraz (3/5): Подойдет на короткий срок, только для ночевки - Бесплатный WI-FI. Расположение отличное, завтрак не шведский стол, персонал сам приносит минимальный набор на тарелке, кусочек масла, сыра, колбасы, 1 яйцо, пару кусков помидора и огурцов. Чай и кофе на завтраке без лимита, вода идет хорошо, кровать приемлемая. На этом достоинства заканчиваются. Номера маленькие. Проблема повесить вещи, если вас 2 или 3 человека, вешалок просто нет. Нет стола и стульев, по просьбе тоже не выдают, да и вообще одну нормальную ложечку для заваривания чая в номере попросили и то не дали, сказали что нету таких. Пакетики чая и кофе, воду в номер поставили только в самый первый раз, далее уже не ставили, только после того как попросили - положили. Постельное белье и полотенца сами не меняют, нужно обязательно напоминать. В ванной вода собиралась на полу, не поставили уклон для стока в трап, поэтому была постоянная влажность, окна в ужасном состоянии. Раньше данное здание было жилым домом с 1904 года, потом переделали в отель. Из плюсов только хорошее расположение в центре города и Wi Fi

• Georges (7/5): You get what you pay for — one of the cheapest options in Taksim - Location: Near the police station. Building: Very old building dating back to 1907. The rooms were warm, we stayed in December, it was very cold outside. Breakfast – very basic. The beds were very basic as well. The toilet needs improvement. In the end, you get what you pay for. For those rating it as a bad hotel, keep in mind that this was one of the lowest-priced options in Taksim.

• Javed (5/5): Location was okay but rest I was not satisfied. - What I like most is the location as it's just next to Istaklal street, Breakfast was decent as well. Lift was not working properly, Rooms were very small. No hanging options in the washroom, washroom door was too noisy as if someone is sleeping you can't be able to use the washroom.

• Raad (1/5): I canceled my stay immediately — this experience completely ruined my trust in the booking platform, - nothing nothing nothing nothingnothing nothingnothing nothingnothing nothingnothing nothingnothing nothingnothing I was shocked to see this hotel rated 8.1 – that rating is completely misleading. From the moment I checked in, the experience was terrible. The room was in poor condition: dirty, dusty, and nothing like the photos or description online. Hygiene standards were clearly not a priority – the bathroom was not clean, and the entire space felt neglected. It honestly felt like a scam. The hotel was a mess, and it’s unacceptable that it's being promoted with such a high rating. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Be warned: the reviews don’t reflect the reality.
• Onur (8/5): - Bali Star Hotel is at the center of Taksim, very close to İstiklal. There is a police station next to it, street is safe and quiet. I like the room, clean and comfortable. This is a budget hotel and everything is OK considering it’s price.
• 72mudassirs (2/5): Disgusting hotel..Not recommended at all. - Disgusting hotel, misleading information on the website, they use the sister hotels details but this hotel is disgusting. Very small and dirty rooms, no amenities. breakfast is dry bread, cheese and and apple in a plate. Very noisy because of the old lift which has old doors shut by slamming them. Do not stay in this hotel
• Dale (9/5): Istanbul Getaway 2025 - Well, I wanna recognize Ms. Narin upgraded my bedroom from standard room to queen room. I really appreciate her assistance and service. And also other staff, namely Adbulrahaman and Farsa, for being nice and friendly. To be honest, I don't like how they serve the breakfast its limited they gave you by plate each morning. You don't even have a choice to choose a variety of foods. It's almost the same every day. They should improve the breakfast setting hopefully in the future.

• Anita (8/5): - Leider entsprach unser Aufenthalt im Bali Star Hotel nicht der Beschreibung. Wir hatten Abendessen gebucht, aber es wurde nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass das Bali Star Hotel kein Restaurant hat und daher keine Mahlzeiten anbieten kann. Stattdessen mussten wir zum Grand Star Hotel laufen, um dort zu essen. Dort gab es Probleme, und der Rezeptionist, Mehdi, war sehr unfreundlich und schickte uns zweimal zurück zum Bali Star Hotel, obwohl unser Rezeptionist angerufen hatte, um dies zu klären. Das Personal im Bali Star Hotel war super nett, aber leider hat das Hotel insgesamt nicht meinen Erwartungen entsprochen. Positiv war jedoch die Lage des Hotels – es liegt in der Nähe des Zentrums von Taksim, mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Essen und Einkaufen, was mir sehr gefallen hat.
• ryan (8/5): - I stayed here for a week while visiting Istanbul. I think the location is perfect. A few blocks off from taksim, a 12-18 minute walk to galataport and the ferrys. Getting to the hotel from the airport is relatively easy. (Taking two metros is much better than paying for a taxi). I never had the breakfast but I know it exists and it was offered to me. The location is safe, the building is next to the police station, and a very transient street. The workers were super helpful and very nice!

• 396parsan (10/5): Family friendly and kind - It’s very family friendly and have very helpful and kind staff. Hotel building is very old its for Greece age and around 200 years. Neighbor is a police station and it was very safe. There’s a very helpful and kind reception name parsa and other staff are also very polite and kind.

• Mohcine (8/5): Good hotel for price quality 😍😍 - I loved this hotel that is shaped like a Turkish house and The staff is helpful and welcoming. There is a problem with the power outage, which makes you go up or down the stairs to the room, in addition to the breakfast outside the hotel, which makes you go out of the hotel to another hotel that is a bit far away, which you often give up on despite paying its price.
• Azarakhsh (8/5): Very good - staff were amazing and friendly they could speak at least in 4 languages. Mr. Hariri was so helpful and patient with our miss understood situation about payment. He speak Arabic and English fluently and he also knows Spanish. it was super heart warming that they were so hospitable. Narin could speak persian too so we had no difficulty in explaining things. housekeeping was fast in helping us with services. room was clean. it had safe box for money and etc. hotel's location is also great 50 foot till you reach Istiklal street , there is lots of café and restaurant around hotel and also there is a bakery and restaurant which also serve breakfast and amazing burek near by. exchange is so close to the hotel. in other hand because of Taksim polis Merkezi near hotel the alley is super safe at mid night. the light in bathroom was automatic (which is very amazing point in order to saving energy )but it would turn off so quickly. in the shower you should move continuously to keep in turn on. funny situation :))

Not clean, old furniture, no real reception only one table under the stairs, Better not mentioning bathroom, because it was one of worst places I had to shower. No elevator. And for finish, next day you will get breakfast served on the construction site as they name dinning room. About 30 plates with food prepared and placed along some corridor. No, thank you. After all it was not cheap. We have booked because we were late and I saw good review (10). I am sure, someone of staff wrote it.

• Behnaz (10/5): Exceptional - لوکیشن خیلی خوبی داره داخل خیابان استقلاله از لحاظ لوکیشن خیلی خوبه کنار هتل مرکز پلیس هست و امنیت هتل رو چندین برابر کرده... هتل کوچیک اما فارسی زبان دارند و برای کسایی که مشکل زبان دارند خیلی راحت هست 😍😍😍
