• Seok Chooi (10/5): - Did not use the laundry service.Room is clean and the staffs are excellent- super friendly, helpful, courteous and polite. Location is great - within walkable distance to eateries, public transportation n tourist sites. Have a great view of Tokyo Skytree on the hotel rooftop. Free coffee n tea at the reception area. Unlike most hotels in Tokyo, the room is really spacious and can fit in a double bed and a sofa bed. Will definitely stay in this hotel again. They took care of my luggages when I visited Nikko for 3 days and when I came back, my luggage’s were already placed inside my room
• Dave (6/5): - Staff were the most friendly and helpful of all our hotel stays in Japan. Room was clean and reasonable size, but our room entry door on the 7 floor (and floors above) was from on an outside balcony with stairs opposite the lift - not safe for young children. It had a great new looking laundromat next door. Hotel staff went out of their way to assist us navigate the laundry machine systems. It had a comfortable common use area on the roof top with great views of Skytree and surrounding areas. A big issue with this hotel was that it does not have a restaurant onsite and did not offer breakfast or room service. Instead, staff provided recommendations for cafes and small restaurants about a twenty-minute walk away from the hotel. The one we were recommended was small, had to wait outside for a seat, then the food was ordinary - despite good reviews of this eatery on google - clearly was overrated or we dined on an off night!

The staff could not have been more helpful and the rooftop terrace (with views of the Skytree tower) was really nice. Easy walk to stations, Mega Don Quixote store and Skytree. • Verified traveler (8/5): Ok stay in asakusa. - It's a clean, small boutique hotel with 2 rooms per floor. We thought the location is not the best as it's slightly out of the Asakusa area and not many restaurants nearby. Great staff, really helpful. I would probably choose another hotel next time. For the price we paid, we preferred other hotels we stayed at.

• Alexis (10/5): - This was our favorite property on our trip. This was the first property we stayed at in Japan and we will definitely come back. The front desk staff were always so welcoming and happy to assist. The room had a cute welcome card and welcome goodies laid out. They had the perfect amount of refreshments downstairs and toiletries laid out in the room. The rooftop was the perfect place to unwind after a long day. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel which is convenient and a convenience in front as well! I will defintely be staying here again!

• ushkasummerville (10/5): Best place to stay in Tokyo - Hotel Tomos Asakusa is a great place to stay while visiting Tokyo. It is located near several tourist sights, including Tokyo Sky Tree and Senso-ji Temple, great shopping and resturants near by. I can't say enough about the staff, they were very polite, and would go out of their way to help you. They spoke English very well. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if I were to go back to Tokyo. I highly recommend Hotel Tomos.

Also a laundromat next to the hotel if the laundry facility in the hotel is in use. The view from the shared rooftop is amazing at night. Able to see the Tokyo Skytree. You can sit and relax on the rooftop and enjoy the view. The staff went out if their way to make my family feel welcomed. Will definitely come back again if ever in Tokyo.

• Robert (10/5): - The location is great in Asakusa. Close to the river with a fantastic view of the SkyTree from the rooftop lounge area, especially at night. And, a short walk to Senso-ji Temple and the old town area. The room was small by US standards but relatively large by Japanese standards. It was fine for us. We were looking for something with a bit more character than the large chain hotels and this one fit the bill. The only negative I can think of is that the beds are very firm. Too firm for us but that may be good if you like a very firm mattress to sleep. Best of all were the staff. Always greeting you with a smile and a helping hand. Best staff I can remember at any hotel I've stayed recently.

• Patricia I (10/5): - This hotel was very cozy. Everything was close by from shopping, restaurants to the train station. Wish we stayed here longer. The rooftop shows the sky tower beautifully at night. Coffee , tea and hot chocolate available for free and laundry was very convenient. The staff was wonderful, welcoming and acomodeting. They gave us a warm eye mask to use for the night. Definitely a place to come back to.
• Esther (10/5): - What a fantastic hotel! We picked this based on the fusion of Japanese and Western look. Hotel Tomos did not disappoint. The staff were amazingly welcoming and super helpful. The rooms were super comfortable and had a balcony you could sit out on. There is a kettle and fridge in the room. The coffee machine is downstairs in the lobby along with a microwave if you want to heat up food. Nearby sights and the train station are all walkable. The staff will help book a taxi if you want one (we got one to the limousine bus pick up). On check out the staff walked us out and waved us off. Amazing service Hotel Tomos. We throughly recommend using this exceptional hotel.

Even if you don't speak Japanese, most of the staff speak English, so no frustration. Great location, close to convenience stores and only a few blocks from the metro stations. The Manager Mr Go was able to arranged our luggage transport even after office hours that made it easier for us to ride the train with minimal luggages and even provided us with elevator access. The staff: Mimi and Marta help with my questions and did a great job helping out what’s the best options for us to travel to Narita. Nanami was so helpful in guiding us with the coin laundry operations. I would like to commend them ALL as they provided services par excellence and good work ethics. • Gavin (10/5): - Hotel Tomos Asakusa is the perfect hotel. The staff are really welcoming, friendly and always helpful. It's in a quiet part of Asakusa, ten minutes away from the tourist centrety around the temple. It was great being so near to Sumida Park and the riverside walk. The metro is an easy walk, and connections are incredibly good from both airports with just a single train journey; It is also very easy to get to places all over Tokyo. Our room was super comfortable and quiet, and we slept really well. And the roof terrace is a big bonus - epic views across the city! The 7-11 across the street is good for topping up Suica cards and taking ouit cash; there is a good supermarket nearby. We recommend the Tomos wholeheartedly, and thank all the staff for an incredibly happy week.

• HEEYEON (10/5): - 일단 들어가면 되게 약간 온천분위기?아무튼 포근한 분위기가 나요 그리고 직원분들이 엄청 친절해요 직원분이 제 여권 잃어버린거 찾는것도 도와주셨어요 ㅠㅠ(돈키호테에 전화연결 해줘서 돈키호테에서 찾음) 그리고 시설도 깔끔하고 엄청 가까운 한 2-3분?거리에 세븐일레븐이 있어서 좋고 아 그리고 루프탑도 넘 좋았어요 밤에 갔더니 너무 추워서 ㅠㅠ 얼마 못있는게 아쉬웠네요 아무튼 저는 전반적으로 다 너무 만족했습니다!
• Tze Aun Kelvin (10/5): - This is a delightful boutique hotel that is located in a quiet neighbourhood. It is still walkable to the subway (about 10 mins) and close to the main Asakusa attractions (7-8 min walk). The staff are super friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Room wise, the rooms are very spacious by Japanese standards and have comfortable beds. The toilet is separate from the shower and it was one of the modern Panasonic ones that washes and dries. Shower pressure was excellent and water was hot. The wash basin though was tiny so those who need a larger sink might find this a bit bothersome. Guests can go sit on the rooftop terrace and have a great view of the Tokyo Skytree. There is even comfy loungers to relax and unwind. Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend Hotel Tomos Asakusa.

• Raunel (10/5): Best in Asakusa - This was our first stay during our first trip to Japan and it exceeded all expectations. The front desk workers were kind and greeted us and smiled each time we walked in and out and were extremely helpful whenever we needed something. And they have a really cool rooftop area.
• Vernon (10/5): - I luv this place, it's new, it's boutique yet has its own flare and character. Moment I walked in the hotel, I was greeted by friendly staff members. This hotel is unique as it feels like a new modern condo as each level seems to have only 2 units and it feels like outdoors. The rooftop view of the Skytree Tower was a total bonus! The room was huge especially for the Japanese standard. There is a separate toilet room, then the shower and a sink, and then a big sofa bed and a queen size bed. The big bay windows with a patio that comes with a coffee table and 2 outdoor chairs. It's just a short walk to the river to enjoy a nice patio at Tully's Coffee. You can enjoy the park with Cherry Blossoms (sakura) and the nice view of the Skytree Tower. It's also super close to the Senjo-ji, the temple and the restaurants and shopping area. This is a great hotel. I hired for a luggage delivery service to drop off my luggage to this hotel ahead of time and when I checked-in, the concierge already informed me that they placed my luggage into my room, that was a nice touch! I will highly recommend anyone to book and stay here. I enjoy it and would definitely come back, the price is reasonable and worth my money.

Some of the things we love: The rooftop with view on the skytree and lounging chairs to relax; the delicious smell of flowers in the room and lobby; the friendliness of the staff; the free origamis and notebooks at the reception; the calligraphy class (30-45 minutes) on request; the beautiful room (fusion traditional japanese and modern style). It's relatively small so it feels cozy and less crowded than a bigger hotel. 6 stars!!!!

• Annabella (10/5): - The hotel is located conveniently across a 711, a busstop right in front of the door that takes you to Asakusa station and the Sensō-ji temple is a short walk away as well. We booked a regular double room but got an upgrade for the first three nights. The rooms were lovely, spacious for Tokyo standards and offers everything you need. Because we were on our honeymoon, the staff left us a lovely handwritten card and origami roses. We loved the surprise! I particularly enjoyed the showers (there is no bath), good water pressure and I enjoyed the brand of body wash. The best part however was the personnel and service. They are easy to contact 24/7 and are often in the lobby. Always greet you with a smile and kindness! We opted to use luggage transport and they helped us through every step. Also very English friendly! All in all, we were glad to have chosen hotel Tomos. We would definitely consider staying here again if we were to return to Asakusa. Thank you very much!

• Henna (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, staff were AMAZING and love the WhatsApp service. The rooftop is amazing so make use of it. Walkable to metro and Asakusa is amazing. The rooms were soo much bigger than expected and spacious. The bathroom was a really good size and balcony was a cute add on. When I come back I will stay here again. Fully recommend! A direct metro line to Shibuya (about 30 mins) Direct line to Ginza (20 mins) Only 8 mins to Akhibara (Suehirocho station) all on the Ginza line.
