• Raena (8/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the staff was always there to greet us when we walked in the door. - We enjoyed how clean and spacious our room was. We liked that there was a full kitchen and washer/ dryer. Over all it was a comfortable stay and everything we expected in a hotel for our visits to Japan. Nothing bad about the property. Probably just that the walk is a little far from main areas like sensoji temple.
• CARLA (9/5): LOVED this hotel and will stay again in the future! Comfortable with all the amenities. - I loved that the room was spacious with a table and chairs for dining. Full kitchen with stove, washer/dryer in room, toilet room separate from shower room, plenty of room for movement with 3 adults. Staff was friendly and all spoke English very well which was helpful when needing information. I liked the free coffee near the front desk. I will book here again in the future. The coffee made very small cups so I usually had to make 2 per person at a time which was fine. There wasn't really anything I didn't like and this would be my top choice to stay again the next time we go to Japan.

• Talia (8/5): Fijn appartement in super leuke buurt. - Super locatie en hele ruime kamer. We hadden dit appartement specifiek geboekt voor de wasmachine en die werkte prima. Het is een heel leuk buurtje, op loopafstand van de Senso-Ji tempel (die kan je dan mooi in de avond bezoeken; het is dan een stuk rustiger). Voor de prijs/kwaliteit was het eigenlijk helemaal prima. Niet super luxe, maar gewoon goed.

• Pacheco (9/5): - I love the area of this hotel, especially for our family who needed quiet and chill vibe after all the walking and sights and sounds of Tokyo. The staff were extremely helpful and there are some wonderful places nearby to get food or a cute coffee. The room was small but I think this is just what it is in Japan (Tokyo specifically)

• Kelly (10/5): Excellent amenities, staff, and location - Apartment was modern, extremely well-equipped, included cleaning products, washer + drier unit, and fresh towel exchange every three days. No balcony, but large windows allowed in fresh air. Super easy door key pad access. Front desk staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Location is quiet but very accessible to the station (3min walk) or bustling areas of Asakusa (10-12min walk). Yamato Kuroneko for takkubin (luggage delivery) drop-off is also just a 5 min walk away. I stayed during a peak season. The rate was good for an apartment hotel that could hold 3-4 people, but it was high for just me. I'd definitely look into booking again, but hope to find it at a lower rate. It's still a good value overall for the space, amenities, service (staffed front desk is a huge plus over other apartment-style accommodations), and location.

• Christina (8/5): Comfortable stay in a quiet part of Asakusa - Nicely located in Asakusa, and the hotel is clean and welcoming. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and they helped us forward our luggage to the airport and receive some packages we had ordered. The room fit our family of five (two adults, one child, and two toddlers), and it was a comfortable place to come back to after a day of exploring. Really appreciate the drawers and closet to store our clothes and luggage, as well as the in-room laundry unit! The hotel is almost like a higher end hostel; there's no daily cleaning. Not a problem for us since we weren't staying long, but FYI for guests with longer stays. The location is in between two stations, which is convenient, but still a walk if you have a lot of luggage and small kids. Not a lot of restaurants in the immediate area, but the Family Mart is up the street if you need something quick.

If one person was awake before the other there was no area to go w a light on without disturbing. There is a washing machine (it doesn’t dry very well). The location is amazing - quiet streets but near train The front desk is often not staffed. There is no common area if you need extra space outside the room. The staff is nice but not certain about how to do luggage forwarding etc

Единственное расстраивало отсутствие кофе, чая, питьевой воды в номере. Хотя в холле все это присутствовало. Можно было бы бутылочки воды в номере поставить и чай/кофе. Но это Я сказала выше.

• James (9/5): Great Location, Friendly Staffs - + Location is great: in a quite neighborhood, but still near several Metro Line and walking distance to Asakusa (Sensoji Temple) around 5-10min walk and Tokyo Skytree (20min walk). There's also a very small playground nearby. + Room size is huge: I book the larger room, and it's spacious and has more space for my toddler to play around + Free coffee and tea at the lobby + The staffs are nice and helpful - I wish they clean the room every 3 days (instead of every 7 days) - I wish they can give the fresh towel and bed sheets for free (instead of charging them) - A little bit pricey, but still okay / manageable - The dryer machine in my room didn't dry my clothes properly :(

Didn’t have an option for a full/queen bed. Room was smaller than pictures made it seem. Shower somewhat awkward angle but nothing you couldn’t adjust to.

• paolarN9633KN (8/5): Nice hotel in a great location - The location of the hotel is great, kind staff, near subway station, good neighborhood, walking distance to Sensoji temple, and the room was nice. However if you are a light sleeper I suggest to look other options, this is a relatively small hotel with 4 rooms per floor and is not unusual for you to hear sounds from rooms around yours. I've stayed in hotels with thinner walls with no problem, but if you are unlucky you might end up staying here with a sensitive guest who might complain about noise, even though your noise is the normal or even below normal level.

Train stations are fairly close and it has great restaurants around. The room itself has all the amenities you need and if you need more. You can ask the staff. The only thing that might be lacking is potentially paid room cleaning services.

• Lavinia (9/5): All in all it was ok - Location was good, quiet at night. Very friendly staff and they speak very good English. The kitchen was well equipped. Very close to metro station that leads directly to Narita Airport. There is no cleaning service, no matter how many nights you stay. After a few days the dirt starts to be visible. A carpet would be nice in the room, would make the room feel cozy and appear cleaner.

• Benjamin (10/5): Wonderful 8-Night Stay in Tokyo - We spent 8 days at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to Asakusa and public transport. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional service – the staff at the reception were extremely helpful, attentive, and always friendly. They made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. We would definitely come again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo.
• Yueh yuan (8/5): 離淺草觀光區走路可以到達，不想擠電車的話，可以悠閒散步回住處。附近也有好幾個車站，到機場也很方便。接待人員親切，說明也很詳盡。 - 空間寬敞，設備很新，有桌椅可以很好的整理東西和享用餐點。電梯和沐浴用品的香味很好聞。 吹風機的風力有點小，垃圾分類希望可以有更詳細的舉例說明。

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay - We stayed at Section L Kuramae last year (2024) for 5+ nights and again this year for 1 night before heading home. The overall check in process was easy and quick. We are a family of 4 so laundry, kitchenette, and all the other amenities were awesome(need) for us. We love how spacious it was. Since we stayed at a different area this year, we can compare the two. This location is more quiet, residential/ go home for rest.
• Kara_mel_nj (10/5): Great stay in a perfect location - The front desk was so friendly and helpful. They also went above and beyond in helping us track down a lost phone. Location was perfect -- only a few blocks from Kuramae Station which connected easily to Shibuya, Shinjuku, DisneySea, etc, but also offered a quiet respite from the crowds after a long day. Easy walk to Senso-ji (which let us beat the crowds in the morning) and to Hoppy Street and other shops and restaurants in Asakusa. Plenty of space in the room for our family of four, and our teens enjoyed having their own "zone" on the tatami mat.
• hironisme (10/5): a very pleasant stay - This is our first time in Tokyo, we wanted to stay at a quiet suburb but not too far away from tourists. Section L Kuramae has the offer. A short walk to Asakusa, to sumida river for a lovely stroll, to Kuramae metro that can take you everywhere in Tokyo. Staff were so friendly and speak perfectly English
• Ney (10/5): Great stay - Section-L properties are kind of a mix between hotel and apartment rental: they have 24-hour front desk and many amenities, washer/drier/microwave in the room, but no cleaning service (unless you pay extra). Overall, it was a perfect fit for our needs, as rooms that will accomodate a family of four are hard to find in Tokyo hotels. We loved our stay there and would certainly come back

• flying_geckos (10/5): Perfect choice - I traveled to Tokyo with three friends, so there were four of us in total. For women, clean beds and bedding, a shared dining table, and a well-equipped kitchen are really important — and Section L Kuramae had it all. We bought delicious Pelican bread, toasted it in the Balmuda toaster, and paired it with freshly brewed espresso from the lobby. One of the highlights was picking up tasty items from the supermarket and preparing our own luxurious breakfast the next morning — such a joy! The combination of regular beds and futons for the floor was also super convenient and comfortable. Oh, all the staffs were very sweet and friendly. I’m definitely coming back next time — no doubt about it!

• Gabriel (10/5): I can’t wait to return. - The staff’s help was really great and we enjoyed the rooms facilities immensely. Everything from the high tech toilet to the water filter on the sink made our time indoors excellent. The space of Section L rooms really made a difference for our toddler as well. Hard to find this amount of space at this price in Tokyo. We just wish it hadn’t rained so much but that had nothing to do with the property. Really great stay.
