• Emma (9/5): Convenient location, clean space and great vibes. - Beautiful location between the Berlin Wall and the Spree river. Well equipped, stylish rooms and easily accessible cafe with a sunny terrase downstairs. Really enjoyed our stay with friends over the weekend. Wish we booked a room on the riverside since the view is so nice and you have terraces in each room, but that's our own bad haha. Beds are not the biggest but enough for calm sleepers.

• Ryan (9/5): Fantastic quality service and rooms, definitely recommend! - It was a cozy and comfortable little room with all the amenities needed for a weeklong stay, really enjoyed the bed, bathroom and kitchenette. The daily room cleaning schedule was hard to work around and timing was inconsistent so we could never really plan for it. Probably the only negative I can think of!

• Amanda (7/5): for location reasons, I would come again - if I find it for a good price. - the bathroom was excellent. big shower, powerful shower, lovely toiletries and I think there was a built in dehumidifier, as the mirror never steamed up. it was fantastic, the bathroom. The location is excellent. Also, the room was very soundproof, so we did not struggle with sleep. That was fantastic. the size of the bed, the size of the sofa and balcony. It was just a double bed, which was ok at the end, but still, for a hotel apartment and the price - i really expected a slightly bigger bed. Plus, the sofa was like a half sofa, not two people could comfortably sit on there. Moreover, the balcony was very narrow, and even though there were three chairs on the balcony, it was really no space to sit on. it just felt not secure, because it was narrow and the barrier was all of glass - which looked fantastic, but felt a bit scary - even though all was super secure. Also, there was no microwave in the apartment, just an oven and stove for cooking. I also found the choice of welcoming "tea and coffee" could have been better. there were two sachets of teas and coffee. But no milk - hence I couldn't enjoy a welcome tea or coffee, as the milk bit was missing. Yes, I could buy my own milk - as the room had a fridge (which was super clean), but still - I would have loved a welcome drink.

• Pauline Anna Henrike (10/5): Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön und hat meine hohen Erwartungen erfüllt. - Besonders gefallen hat mir die Sauberkeit des Hotels. Das ist der Standard, den ich oftmals in anderen Hotels vermisse. Aber auch das Design war wirklich schön, alles fühlte sich hochwertig an. Wir haben außerdem ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade bekommen, was uns sehr gefreut hat. An sich gibt es wirklich nichts, was gestört hat. Bedauerlicherweise waren unsere Hocker auf dem Balkon etwas dreckig (Vogelkot), allerdings kann dies auch passiert sein, als wir schon im Zimmer waren, also möchte ich deswegen keine Punkte abziehen.

The atmosphere of the place was artistic and felt pleasantly designed, this is for both the rooms and the foyer. Foyer is also great for co-working. Not much to complain about. Only maybe that you have to buy a drink or snack to sit in the part of the foyer that is close to the bar, however no one made us leave when we just sat to observe the river next to the windows.

• Tina (9/5): alles in Allem sehr cool, würde wieder kommen - Super Lage, sehr moderne tolle Einrichtung, richtig gutes Bett und super Dusche der extrem übertrieben Raumduft in der Lobby, der ist furchtbar und stört extrem. Wäre überhaupt nicht notwendig. Stautaum für Kleidung im Zimmer mit 2 Personen sehr knapp.

• Ya-Fan (1/5): DIRTY ROOM! Instagrammable facade - Cafe, views, people working at the cafe. I don’t know if it’s mercury in retrograde or what that I have almost everything go wrong in my room. It’s one of those hotels that looks nice on the outside but at closer look nothing works. Unclean room / unfunctional design This is the most unacceptable aspect of the review. I opened the trash and there was still trash from previous guest inside. Spider webs on window, broken towel, stained sheets, dishes had stains on them, and when I asked the front desk how often they clean the room they replied every 7 days??? That’s disgusting and unacceptable for ANY hotel let alone one that rated themselves as 4 star? You should clean the rooms everyday if not AT LEAST per request. I requested room cleaning and they never came. If I wanted to clean my own room I would’ve gotten an Airbnb and have a better deal. A mom and pop b&b does better at this. Get your shit together. The room has no space for luggage storage. So everything is out in the open, take up so much space if you have big luggage. Light in the shower keeps flickering. Soft bed Have you ever seen a bed and not want to lay on it? That’s how I feel about the bed at Locke hotel in Berlin. They offer no support, spine immediately sink in when laying on it, I had to roll a towel underneath my lower back and put a pillow under my knee to be able to sleep. Size of the bed is twin, and they give u two small duvet instead of a big one. Mind you I’m a small Asian woman and my feet would come out of the sheets if I move. Unprofessional front desk Normally I wouldn’t care about this but this one was unusually bad, they weren’t hospitable at all and seems like there was a communication gap between management and cleaners and front desk because nothing I requested was implemented. I don’t know if I’m just unlucky but this was my experience. If you are those people who care about the look and not the detail, then this might be for you, otherwise look elsewhere.

• Daria (10/5): - Super stylishe Zimmer, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Kleine Kochnische ist ein großes Plus, sollte man einen längeren Aufenthalt planen. Lage direkt an der Berliner Mauer mit Blick zur Spree ist top! Unten gibt's ein Café, wo man direkt frühstücken kann (nicht inklusive). Die Betten sind wirklich sehr schmal (1,40?). Wir sind als Freunde gereist und es war manchmal etwas zu...kuschelig:D Platz für ein breiteres Bett wäre da allemal gewesen.
