Erich J (3/5): Sehr sauber, große Zimmer, aber an Wochenenden für berufliche Aufenthalte ungeeignet, da laut. - Das Zimmer war groß und perfekt sauber und wenn man in Freising beruflich zu tun hat, ist die Lage sehr gut, da sehr nahe. Senior-Chef und Koch sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Perfekte Veranstaltungs-Location. Wenn man hier nächtiigt, dann nicht in einem beschaulichen, ruhigen Landgasthof, sondern in einer Veranstaltungs-Location, was auch auf der Webseite aktiv beworben wird (und wir leider erst vor Ort gesehen haben...) - besonders an Wochenenden scheint es dort Feiern, Fest und Veranstaltungen zu geben. In unserem Fall wurden wir bis Mitternacht trotz geschlossener Fenster mit "Musik" beschallt und an Schlafen war nicht zu denken, was bei einer beruflichen Tätigkeit am nächsten Tag nicht gerade angenehm ist. Dazu kommt, dass die wandhohen Fenster über keinerlei Vorhänge, etc. verfügen und die hell erleuchteten Nebengebäude bis in die Morgenstunden das Zimmer "erleuchten". Die Ausstattung der Küche ist bei aller Sauberkeit enttäuschend (Besteck gerade einmal für eine Person, der Zustand der Pfannen lädt nicht zur Verwendung ein, es gibt Wein- und Cocktailgläser und - natürlich - ein Bierglas, aber keinerlei Trinkgläser oder Salatschüsseln). Die beworbenen Parkplätze sind bei einer Veranstaltung knallvoll und uns hat erst der sehr nette, hilfsbereits Koch zu einem Parkplatz auf einer naheliegenden Wiese verholfen.

Tobias Ullrich (10/5): - Herr Landbrecht war sehr freundlich und wir durften am Abend das Zimmer noch einmal wechseln, um ein ruhigeres Zimmer zu haben. Dafür vielen Dank! Ich hatte im Vorfeld etwas bedenken, dass man den Straßenlärm hört. In unserem Zimmer (8) war das aber gar nicht (!) der Fall, ebenso sind Zi. 5+6 bzw. 9 und 10 zur straßenabgewandten Seite. Es war also sehr ruhig. Insgesamt ist die Einrichtung sehr modern und man hat alles, was man braucht. Der CheckIn hat sehr unkompliziert funktioniert. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gern wieder! Mo./Di. abend ist das Restaurant geschlossen, das sollte man wissen. Ebenso gibt es keinen Fahrstuhl zu den oberen Etagen. Beides war für uns aber kein Problem.

Shannon (8/5): Clean & beautiful but be aware you are on your own - The guesthouse itself was really nice- very clean and modern and comfortable stay with a large bathroom and kitchenette. The restaurant it’s attached to was very good food and seemed to be a very nice place. But be aware if you are not driving- it is out there in a tiny town with not a lot of options. There is a bus stop directly outside that services to Freising train station (line 601-1.70 euro you can pay directly to the bus)- however it does not run on Sundays or late at night. There are taxis outside of Freising station if you arrive there too late, or Uber (it was hit or miss but we were able to secure a ride) there is no front desk and it doesn’t seem anyone works for the hotel, but just the restaurant personnel help you check in- I’m not sure how that would work when the restaurant is closed. I sent an email ahead of time which was not answered and calling no one answered either. Overall- it all worked out as we stayed there as a home base to Oktoberfest and it was nice coming back to the peace and quiet, but just be prepared to coordinate your arrival and transportation ahead of time, and if you plan on using the kitchen do your shopping in Munich or Freising.

There wasn’t staff to clean the rooms every day, but when we requested additional coffee and towels, they brought them up to the room for us without a problem.

peter (10/5): - A very nice facility. The only issue is with the lack of screens in skylight windows, which were the only means of ventilating. Room was very warm as there is no air conditioning. Mosquitoes at night were not pleasant.

Rexford (7/5): It was a very good stay and I will recommend this guesthouse to anyone going into that area - The room is more spacious and comfortable than expected. The facility is very ideal for getting access to the airport. There is no elevator in the building and arrangement for check-in after late hours was very complicated.

Angela (9/5): A wonderful hotel to stay whilst visiting special friends living close by. - The location and views from our rooms were beautiful. We were relying on friends for transport so did not realize we could not eat breakfast in a nearby cafe. We very much appreciated your kindness in providing a breakfast for us on our first morning. You kindly arranged our rooms close together as we requested. Thank you. We felt we were perhaps the only guests during our stay and felt a little sad that there was not a member of staff to say 'thank you or goodbye' on the morning we left. We trust you easily found the keys we left in the reception area.
