Guest Reviews
- Laura (9/5): - The location was quiet but close to the centre by tram or metro and ~ 15 min walking to the train station for the Malpensa airport train. The appartment was nice. The bedroom was really big. We stayed four people for 3 nights and it had everything we need. There is no lift (it was specified but I didn't check, so for future guests take it into account) The kitchen tap was loose so you had to manipulate it very carefully. In our opinion, the mattress was very soft (probably old).
- Marilena (10/5): - Posizione Aria condizionata
- Iulia (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (9/5): Good location and price - Great location, lots of room, comfy beds and good TV. Staff was very helpful both at check in and check out. Initially there were no sheets and pillowcovers for the bedsofa but the staff fixed that fast. There was a leak from the zink in the bathroom that wets the floor in front of toilett, and the safety fuse went of and cut the power in the apartment a couple of times each day, but it was just to put it back in place.
- Eyal (5/5): Bring your own soap - The location is very good (but not perfect). A few minutes walk from Milano's Chinatown, an M5 metro station, a 15 minute walk from the old cemetery and about 25 from Sempione park. The welcoming guy was super kind and helpful. In 4 words: Bring your own soap. In a few more words: also bring your own washing machine tablets, and salt and cooking oil, because you won't find these in the apartment.
I mean, you will get a courtesy package with a dishwasher tablet, and liquid soap for dishes, but nothing for your personal hygiene. I have stayed in many short-term vacation apartments so far, all of them were equipped with at least liquid washing soap. Those with washing machine were also equipped with the appropriate detergents. But not here. For 2 nights we had to buy a family size soap (you're welcome, those who stayed after me) and 18 washing machine tablets (the smallest package I could find).
As for cleaning, the apartment was clean enough, but behind the toilet there was (and still is) a pink something that looks like an used toilet paper (our's was white).
I guess that this is the problem with management companies: they don't see you as a guest,.but as a number in the profit line. It starts with the outrageous late check-in fee (50 euros after 8pm, but it jumps to 100 after a certain hour). It was stressed in advance so no surprises here, but I would have gladly paid it if it went fully to the welcoming person that had to wait for us. But no, it goes to the company.
Finaly, there's no lift. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, which may be an issue if you have heavy luggage or a straler, Nevertheless, it's an old.building with a wide staircase, so carrying your.stuff up is not that bad.
The neiborghs are nice and friendly, especially the guy in the nearby window (i.e., the underwear guy). The apartment is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toater, an uscrewed kitchen faucet, a sufficient amount of dishes and a smart TV.. No kitchen towel was found.
