Guest Reviews
- Angela (6/5): Quiet and comfortable near Accademia (David) - Mirko met us, gave us the keys, and showed us the apartment. The location was on a quiet street and still walkable to all major sites in Florence. The apartment was clean, tidy, quiet, and comfortable. The wifi worked well. The a/c was appreciated. Mirko was very helpful and responsive, but the main office was slower to respond to What's App (over an hour). If you plan to use a taxi to get to the airport or train station, download the app (AppTaxi) before going to Italy. Our eSim wouldn't let us make calls or texts and we couldn't authenticate the app, and we were not able to call a taxi. The apt is on the 2nd floor, up two steep stairwells. We managed ok, but if you have mobility issues, just be aware of the steep stairs. It would have been helpful to have a few more things for comfort - a booklet that explained things about the apartment (how to turn on the stairwell lights, how to use the washer, etc.), map/location of basic conveniences (pharmacy, groceries, etc.), and a warning about mosquitos. I killed about 4 mosquitoes and was bitten multiple times by mosquitoes and a spider in my bed. A week later, my hand is still itching from the spider bite. Bathrooms had two rolls of toilet paper, shampoo and soap. It would have been helpful to have a roll of paper towels in the kitchen and a fly swatter. The shower was clogged and the drain backed up while showering (yuck), and a bad smell came from all the drains (it was an old building). The a/c was very loud, took a long time to cool down the rooms, and the filters were all caked in dust...but they worked!
- Carolina (4/5): - Shower was filled with mold. We had problems with the parking and could not get a hold of the staff. In order to access the city center by car you need a ZTL license which we only found out 30min prior to check in, and usually hotels handle this for you but in this case the property did want to manage this. We ended up getting a fine because the property did not want to register our plate number through the ZTL system.
- Ilan (6/5): Good location but lacks comfort - Very good location Poor bedding
Had to purchase cleaning sponges to clean
Couch uncomfortable
2nd bed very poor
Stairs to apartment challenging for some

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing place. The appartment was great, spacious and close to all we needed.
There was a wonderful all organic restaurant near by.
- Alice (10/5): Had a lovely time will recommend to friends - Fabulous location and lovely apartment
- Carmen (10/5): - It was a great space and very comfortable. The location was perfect. We traveled with an 18 month old and it worked really well with a small child.
- Nick (7/5): Good -
- Jessica (10/5): - This apartment was a great place for our family or 5 to stay. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was near a bus stop but also walkable to the city center. The host was able to accommodate an early check-in, and someone came to give us the keys and show us a few things. It's on the third floor, but that wasn't a problem for us.
- Tamar (8/5): Very good - A lovely apartment on a quiet street. Keep in mind the steep stairs when booking — it's difficult to carry luggage up. It's very good for 4 people. We were five, and the fifth person slept on a fold-out chair without a mattress, which was definitely not comfortable. The fifth person needs a separate sleeping arrangement, as well as a blanket.
- COREY (10/5): - Clean, updated, spacious and comfortable accommodations. Wonderful responsive host!
- Jennifer (2/5): - On our first day, we came back to the property and our key would not open the door to the apt. No one would answer our calls and it was 9pm at night. We had a tour early the next morning and we couldn’t get our things. We waited for 3 hrs while a maintenance man used an xray film to try to open the door. Finally at midnight, we convinced the maintenance man to take us to another rental they had that was available. We had none of our things. We slept in our clothes from the day. We couldn’t make our tour the next day bc we didn’t have our passports, they were in the locked apt. We finally were notified the apt door was fixed at 4pm. We lost our $ for the tour and then to top it off, we had no hot water the next morning. This is not a person’s property, it is a mgmt company and they don’t respond as they should. I asked for a partial refund for the first night where we had to wait for 3 hours in the hallway, then got moved to another apt for the night, but no one responded. Renter beware!
- Nicole (10/5): - Very good communication from host. Great location/walkable to many sites in Florence. No elevator, 2 flights of stairs (fyi). Clean, safe, just what we hoped for :)
- Eduard-gabor (8/5): Very good -
- Anselm (7/5): Overall good but better communication is needed - Clean, location was good The very steep stairs leading up to the apartment, I had to ask for blankets and very cheap DuVet inserts from IKEA were provided with no cover, also no linens for pullout couch was provided
- Michelle (9/5): Good location from duomo and everything you want to visit in Florence! - They responded quickly and efficiently to all my communications. The place doesn’t have an elevator. For some it may be ok but I was traveling with my 77-yr old mom and it was a challenge for her. For us who are a little bit younger, we are fine.
