Nuisances sonores dès 8h du matin (genre machine à laver & d'autres bruits comme les rues , et l'isolation est à revoir aussi ) donc Manque de repos durant tout le séjour

On the first night we stayed in a room that missed almost 5-10 cm on the door so all the noice from outside just went right into our room and that made it hard to sleep. Also the toilet/room had a quite strong sewer smell. The staff offered at towel to cover the gap as a solution but that did not help with the noice at all. Next morning we got upgraded to a better room.

It is very close to the Beyazit stop (T1) , Beyazit Square and Food Street. The airport pick up is very convenient. They have both luxury and standard , so fares vary.. The reception staff are extremely helpful. The place is ideal if you're looking for a hotel that's at the centre and which is both clean and comfortable The road going to the hotel is uphill. The steps going up to the room is very narrow.. The room is quite small hence could be tight for 2 people and their luggage. Sound from the air conditioner system outside filters to the room!

- aledek (8/5): Ok ma con attenzione - È molto vicina alle principali attrazioni della zona e a pochi minuti da una fermata della metro. Un prezzo ottimo per l'area. Non curatissimo ma va bene per quello che abbiamo pagato. La via in cui si trova l'hotel è buia e sporca ma da quanto abbiamo visto ad Istanbul basta fare 50 metri in più o in meno per veder cambiare la situazione in strada.

- Abdul (10/5): Clean hotel, great location, great staff! - The location is excellent! Walking distance to Grand Bazaar, Tram station, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is really clean, the staff is attentive, even though they didn’t speak English well, but they are always there to help.

- Татьяна (5/5): Только на одну ночь. Холодно! - Чисто, чистое постельное и полотенца. Удобная кровать. Комната маленькая, но впринципе соответствует хоть фотографиям. Эти две ночи я не спала. В середине марта при погоде ночью 5 градусов. В номере дико холодно! Есть кондей на обогрев, но он гудит капец как громко, спать с ним не возможно. А если подогреть перед сном, через час все равно холодно, приходилось ночью включать несколько раз, но потом кто то в отеле тоже его включает и этот гул слышен так же. С таким шумом не поспишь. Двери картонные, с ресепшена все время слышен то диалог, то там телефон пиликал вечно. На телеке нет смарт тв. И конечно орущий рупор молитвы несколько раз утром. Район неприятный. Маленькая раковина, я была вся в воде пока умывалась.

Location was OK, some <10 minutes to tram station at the Grand Bazaar and via Food street, only up a rather steep hill. The economy room was located in a basement and was very small. We had just backpacks, so it was fine, but a suitcase one would open only on the bed. The room was clean. In a "hotel" accommodation I would expect, though, that someone comes to make the bed and clean the room or even exchange towels. This was not the case for the whole 6-night stay. The room was also quite cold. Only AC available and with outside temperatures below 10°C the room temperature fell to 13-15°C if heating was switched off.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό, είχε βραστήρα, καφέ, τσάι & νερό, οπως και παντοφλες, πετσέτες.Το air condition ζέστανε παρά πολύ καλα το δωμάτιο.Το προσωπικό ήταν παρά πολύ ευγενικό & εξυπηρετικό παρότι δεν μιλάνε καλά αγγλικά. Η τοποθεσία είναι 10 λεπτά περπάτημα μέχρι την Αγία Σοφία & το μπλε Τζαμί όπως & 10’ περπάτημα μέχρι τη στάση του μέτρο vezneciler & 7’ περπάτημα μέχρι το grand bazaar απλά προετοιμαστείτε γιατί ολη η Κωνσταντινούπολη είναι γεμάτη ανηφόρες! Έχει και μίνι μάρκετ κοντά στα 3’. Υπήρχε ένα μικρό προβληματική με τη σύνδεση με το Wi-Fi διότι το δωμάτιο ήταν στο υπόγειο, επομένως συνδεόταν & αποσυνδέονταν συχνά, όποτε χρειάζεται λίγη υπομονή ή να χρησιμοποιείς τα δεδομένα. Και το μπάνιο θα μπορούσε να είχε λίγο παραπάνω φως, πιθανόν να είχε καεί μια λάμπα. Κατά τα αλλά πολύ καλα

Really kind, willing and welcoming staff ❤️ Looks like they never checked the fridge before we came, since it was smelling really awful (garlic smell) and we couldn't use it cause room would stink😅. The small containers for the soap at the bathroom were clearly reused which made me hesitant to use them hence I bought my own. The stuff was kind, tho they knew very little English so the communication was not reaaally easy. (We asked them if the room's tap water was drinkable and they thought we asked for water so they brought water bottles in our room, we found it cute and funny though 😆)
- Michal (7/5): - We didn't spend much time in the hotel but we liked the overall cleanliness, room decor, and the friendly receptionist. Pillows and mattresses were comfortable. The bathroom didn't have ventilation and it smelled of mould with some mould visible on the ceiling too. There was also a big gap under the door (one of the rooms downstairs) letting noise in at night. A/C stopped cooling the room every night and the temperature had to be changed for it to keep working. One of the beds was tilted making it harder to sleep on comfortably.

The location is absolutely perfect—just a 15-minute walk to Hagia Sophia and many other major attractions in the historic Sultanahmet area. It made exploring the city very easy. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They were happy to recommend places to visit, give directions, and offer tips that really enhanced my trip. Their hospitality truly made me feel at home. My room was lovely—very clean, modern, and clearly recently renovated. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. - Ahmed (8/5): Interesting but - The hotel was relatively good, but the room is small and outside, the street is a big slope (may be 30 degrees), so if you are old you will have difficulties walking is such slope. However, the hotel is close to the tramway T1 that can take you to different interesting locations and shops.

- Hui (8/5): - We had a good 4 days stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to T1 tram and walking distance to Sultanahmet square. Several restaurants are close by. The room is renovated and clean. One thing you need to pay attention would be not stub your toe on the thresholds. It’s not suitable for people with large luggage, as you have to navigate the steep, narrow, cobblestone streets. In general, good value for the money.

The reception said they were available 24 hours a day, but when I went to check out in the morning there was no one there. When I called whatsapp there was no answer, although there was a ringtone from the room next door. Obviously a staff was sleeping there! It was not early morning, around 8am. To top it all off, the door to the outside was locked and I couldn't open it from the inside. When I tried to unlock it, a sleepy-looking guy came out and opened it silently without apologizing. I have asked a staff about the second key when checking in which was the key to the entrance, but they did not tell me about this. Also, I had confirmed before my stay on their whatsapp business account that they would keep my luggage until I came back to Istanbul again. But after a few days of check out the owner told me to come and get it as soon as possible and he doesn't care because it was his wife who replied to me. I was horrified and suggested to move it to another location Then he became furious a high-handed manner, even though he himself had complained about taking care of my belonging. It was a shame that we stayed at such a hostel when there are many good Turkish people.

- Daniel I (8/5): - I like staying at the Peker Hotel because it’s a nice little hotel near the Grand Bazaar and it’s handy for walking around and for transit. The managers are friendly, the rooms are nice and there is a sun room on the top floor with a nice view of the Marmara Sea.

- Daniel I (10/5): - I like the hotel and the location in a working neighbourhood close to historic Sultanmet near the Grand Bazaar and the tram. Its a lively yet quiet neighbourhood and the hotel has a view of the Marmara Sea and it has Netflix

- Rachel (8/5): - So I stayed through 3 different sites trying to get the best rate so if you see my review elsewhere-that’s why: Originally I stayed here because it was somewhat affordable, well reviewed and available last minute. I ended up extending my stay 10 days. Would I do it again? No. But my stay was good. Pros: -Early check in for me was a lifesaver, as I had a super early flight arrival. -The room was very clean -The bathroom was gorgeous and super clean with pretty good water pressure and temperature -The calls to prayer, while you could hear them, they weren’t as disruptive as they could be -Smart TV (but you need your own passwords/accounts) -The room was decently quiet from outside noise -Located next to 2 super close grocery stores, they aren’t great grocery stores but if you need a few things it will cover you -Good power outlet access Cons: -Sometimes someone smoking somewhere in the hotel or outside of it would cause the air intake for the heater to push out heat with cigarette smoke -WiFi was kind of shotty with it’s strength and ability to stay connected -The location was great in theory, given the proximity to tourist areas but the restaurant areas are just insanely prone to harassing people, especially solo women -The rooms are not sound proof as claimed. Apparently I could be heard speaking on the phone at normal volume to my neighbor across the hall at night and then a following night I could hear my neighbor snoring. -No elevator and a tight spiral staircase

- Daniel I (10/5): - It’s a nice small hotel in a working area not far from the Grand Bazaar and major attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful. For people who are physically fit and not into luxury it’s great. The rooms are nicely renovated especially the bathrooms. There is a sun roof on the top floor overlooking the Marmara Sea where you can eat your breakfast but it is DIY.
