In particular, the receptionist are very nice, special thanks to Emin, I've been to Turkiye multiple times, he's the best receptionist I ever dealt with, always asking clients how was their day and giving advice on interesting destinations, extended thanks to Serhat as well (hope the spelling is right) for his kindness. The ladies at the restaurant are very welcoming as well. Bottom line, I recommend the hotel very much, and would probably book there another time Insha'Allah!

Upon arrival, the receptionist couldn’t find our reservation, and even after eventually locating it, we were left waiting at the front desk for another 15 minutes without any explanation before receiving our room. Although we were assured that all rooms were ready, one of them had clearly not been cleaned at all. When we went back to the reception to address the issue, we were told it would be cleaned within 10 minutes. Instead, we were given a different room, which unfortunately was not any better. When we finally entered the rooms, the conditions were unacceptable. The floors had not been swept, the walls were dirty, and the curtains were stained. The bed linen looked used (we later found out it was just not ironed, but that didn’t make it any better). The bathroom was even worse — absolutely filthy. The paint in the shower was peeling, and the toilet tank was not functioning properly. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

За 3 дня не убирали, Постельное белье, полотенца пора бы поменять отелю.( какие-то пятна). Слышимость в номере.

Очень приветливый персонал отеля и хозяин, они рады гостям , большие трудяги и очень услужливы. Все говорят по русски. Очень тепло и светло, тихо и уютно. Удобные и большие кровати. • Saskia (4/5): Very dated hotel - Good location, not too loud, big room and staff were nice even though there was a language barrier Uncomfortable beds and a very dated and tired room. We don’t usually spend long in hotel room so didn’t mind too much but the toilet didn’t flush and the whole place seemed a bit dirty. They definitely haven’t spent any money on the place in the past 20 years. Breakfast, despite the other reviews, was really nothing special. They first day we arrived towards the end of breakfast with about 45mins to go and there was hardly anything left. The other days we got there earlier and it was just a cheaply done turkish breakfast. The fruit wasn’t particularly fresh, not that there was a huge variety, and hot items were cold. Coffee was from a cheap machine and not particularly pleasant. Overall I wouldn’t stay again. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful with bags but it was too dated to be comfortable and just felt yucky. Beds were so hard
• Paulo (8/5): Excellent spot to visit Istanbul - Very good location with restaurants and shops around. Very friendly staff, good size room with all the necessary amenities, good breakfast and very good price. The windows didn't have proper blinds so there was always lots of light in the room.
• Naheedah (4/5): Poor facilities. - Location No water on the first night we arrived . We were told water shortage in Istanbul however the hotel could have informed us about this before hand. The toilet flush was not working so really bad especially as it was shared with 3 guests in total. I wanted a partial refund for flush not working and the lack of communication with us. Also the description said that english speaking staff available. But no english speaking staff on site. Google translate was used a lot. After a lot of back and forth the staff gave us a key for another room for 1 night so we could use the loo comfortably. Overall not happy with the service and still would like a partial refund at least.

• Nurkens (10/5): Awesome stay with my mom and this hotel felt like I am at home with my relatives. - This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. Before I went, I read some negative reviews but mostly I relied on the good reviews and I was not wrong about it. The hotel and it's staff were amazing to the point that it felt like home after few days, and the staff felt like our relatives and friends. I wanted to point out the hotel manager Serkan, who was absolutely amazing with his assistance and support. He went far and beyond so that we felt in Grand Gross hotel home. We had so many questions regarding where to go sightseeing, how to take public transport and even how to get football tickets. He and his staff did an excellent job helping us with everything. Thank you, Serkan, Muhhamed and the lady in the kitchen :) Breakfast in this hotel is worth special mentioning. It was so good with a variety of options to choose from. There are many hot dishes, pastries, salads of lots of kinds, and sweets. Chai, juices, and coffee machine had plenty of options. What really positively surprised me was that you can get hot tea and coffee whenever you like, and sit in the rooftop any time of the day, even after 10PM :). It is a good feeling when you start your day with nice breakfast and smiling staff in the kitchen. Location is very central to Fatih area. If you like to walk, its about 15-20 minutes to famous Ayasofia and the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Bosforus cruise docks. One more thing many people did not tell us was, if you live nearby this hotel, the guests are mostly traders from other countries who purchase goods and send home. That means you can eat outside very very cheap in this area . Hotel always has cheap transfers to airport: ranges $10-15 per person till both airports. It was amazingly clean, comfortable beds and the staff changed the linen everyday which made it even more special. I definitely will visit this hotel next time when I am in Istanbul. I liked everything.
• Hasibeh (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast was better than any place i had thanks to chief NASIMA who even invited me for free turkish coffee and the omlete and salad all was soooooo perfect very lovely lady Cleanness of bathroom full of mod and couldnt take shower and very smallllll bathroom The noise in hallway No english staff at all
• Gina (8/5): Very good - The property is at an ideal location, walking distance to major touristic sites if one loves to walk but also accessible by TRAM and buses. Plenty of shops for those who loves shopping and restaurant around. The hotel offers food as well. The breakfast was good and changes some days.The breakfast lady was always polite and welcoming in the morning. I had a single room but my bed was double bed with a nice shower. I cannot complain about the size of the room for one person. On my third day, at breakfast, the guests were allowed to smoke in the breakfast area. As a non smoker and asthmatic this was unpleasant and had to cut my breakfast short. This happened twice since and nothing was said. It was also a bit noisy in the corridor at times. I had a room with street view. The only thing is that the curtain needs to be thicker. I did not need to switch the lights as the street lights would lit up the room. when i enquired about taxi transfer to the airport on my third day, I was informed by the young gentleman at the reception that my booking includes free airport transfer. I had clarify with him twice since and he reassured me that it was free. Low and behold on my departure and the taxi had arrived , an older gentleman insisted that i pay him for the taxi and he refused to call the young gentlemen to clarify this. He insisted i pay Euro 40 or TL 1400. I had no choice then because i did not have time to loose and argue about this. This event really upset me as he was talking to an female worker in Turkish which i did manage to grasps a bit of whats he was saying and it was not nice. I left the hotel feeling conned.

• Blackwell (10/5): I really enjoyed it - The location was great, not a far walk from all the major attractions and plenty of places to eat and shop around, plus pretty close to the Yenikapi train station, so it's easy to get there from SAW airport and easy to get around the city on the public transport. My room was clean and the view was pretty good. The breakfast was great. The only issue I had was that the beds were hard, but you get used to it pretty quickly.

• Ali (8/5): Good value for money - Great location, close to all attractions, sea view on top floor where the diner is, breakfast is good, AC works, WiFi works, shower works, staff helpful and friendly Gulsel helped to change my room at no cost, Sarkan helped to arrange transport to airport, thank you! Hotel is in a busy commercial area and this is part of its appeal but it can get noisy sometimes, this gets better at night

• Ismail (10/5): I advice everyone to stay in this hotel. - The property was vey excelent. We spent there 3 nights with my family. They also offer leisure activities like cruise, beach swimming. We went to cruise with hotel’s offer and it was very very excelent, the price is also not very expensive just 35$ for each person and it was very energetic. I suggest everyone to take cruise. The location, offers from the hotel (they also offer Taxi to the airport and from the airport which is not expensive).

• Oumaya (5/5): Passable - The receptionist didn't speak a word in English. I chose the airport shuttle option and I checked with the receptionist whether i ll be using the shuttle on my way back to the airport after chekout and he confirmed. I woke up the next day to find no airport shuttle and that i have to pay extra for a very expensive taxi. I ended up taking the metro instead with all my heavy luggage.
• Suray (10/5): 😘👍🫶 - I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The staff is very respectful and responsive. It offers sea views. Breakfast is diverse. I recommend it to anyone who wants to come. You may have seen exaggerated and bad comments. But it's safer to see everything with your own eyes. I liked everything, thank you very much
