• Daniel (10/5): Great apartment in Taskim - Property was clean , modern and in the perfect location within walking distance of everything in and around Taskim. The hosts were kind and very helpful. I visit Istanbul a lot and the value for money is unmatched. There nothing that I didn’t like it’s worth noting there is no lift for people with any mobility issues.

• Yakovchuk (1/5): Жахливо - В номері двері на балкон відвалюються, не зачиняються повністю. Тому шумоїзоляціі не було. А також на рецепшені постійно хтось із персоналу палив цигарки і через це в номері просто стояв дим. Жодного разу не винесли сміття з номеру, не прибирали. Постільна білизна стара, вся в катишках. Рушники воняють хлоркою. Я мусила виїхати на дві доби раніше, бо моє здоров'я погіршилось через дим від цигарок в номері. Кошти, звісно, мені ніхто не відшкодував.

We stayed at Hotel Martin for around ten days, and this was without a doubt the worst accommodation we have ever experienced. I would not even call this a hotel. It was disorganized, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable from start to finish. The hotel has no structure at all and is extremely difficult to get in contact with. Most of the time, there was no one at the reception, and we were left to handle everything ourselves. There does not appear to be proper cleaning staff; we never saw any during our stay, and it felt like the hosts were doing everything themselves—poorly. Cleanliness was absolutely non-existent. The hallways and rooms smelled strongly of mold and dampness. As soon as we entered our first room, it was a shock: there was mold on the floor, hair in the bathroom (on the floor and by the sink), a dirty and smelly refrigerator, a constantly running and noisy toilet, broken facilities, a non-working safe, and air conditioning that did not work. I had to clean the room myself using wet wipes. I even brought my own pillowcase because I feel nauseous sleeping on unclean pillows. When I removed the duvet from its cover, there was visible menstrual blood on it. This made me extremely sick. Because of this, we ended up sleeping in a cold room, as the radiators were often turned off and only rarely turned on. We were moved to another room (room 400), but it was not much better. Once again, there was hair in the bathroom, mold present, and a dirty refrigerator. The only “solution” offered was a very superficial wipe inside the fridge—nothing more. Every single time we entered the room, it smelled disgusting, like mold and dampness. Nothing ever felt clean, hygienic, or safe. There was also constant noise—both from outside and inside the hotel. The area itself felt unsafe, and noise continued throughout the night until early morning.

• muzaffer (1/5): Berbat - Konumu Ne gece ne gündüz uyuması mümkün olmayan otel. Yatağın yanında tuvalet kağıdı duruyordu (işini bitirdiğinde peçeteye sil der gibi). Yani konsept daha çok günlük konaklamalar değil, saatlik konaklamalar için uygun. Gece otele geldiğimizde kimseler yoktu yani oteli biz koruduk diyebilirim. 🚨🚨🚨Aileler için kesinlikle uygun değil.

• Ana (1/5): Uzasno! - Zeznuli su nas 1.11 su poslali poruku da nam je otkazana soba radi stjenica. Bili smo u neugodnoj situaciji i trazili drugi hotel. A novac nam nisu vratili. Usli smo u hotel na recepciji nije bilo nikoga a hodnik je jako zmazan i sve smrdi.

• Josefa (7/5): Excelente staff, habitación y ubicación. - Staff muy amable, excelente ubicación y habitación muy cómoda, cuidada y bonita. No le doy puntuación máxima solo por la ausencia de ascensor y para subir al cuarto nivel cuesta bastante si vas con tu madre (al momento del check in nos ayudaron con las maletas, gracias 🙏🏼) y había bastante ruido en la noche/madrugada porque hay una discoteca justo al lado del hotel por lo que es imprescindible el uso de tapones si quieres dormir.

J’ai aussi aimé la décoration/aménagement de la chambre. Il y avait une odeur désagréable dans notre chambre durant tout le séjour (qui s’atténuait lorsque l’on mettait la climatisation). Aussi lorsque nous sommes arrivées nos draps et nos serviettes n’étaient pas très propres.

В нашем номере ползали мелкие насекомые, самое неприятное - Отличное расположение, в нескольких метрах до улицы Истикляль, рядом много магазинов, баров и кафе. При заселении администратор очень долго не мог разобраться с бронированием. Нас было 3 человека и забронировано 2 номера, сначала администратор сказал, что у нас только 1 номер, второй он не видит. Потом сообщил, что у нас забронированы другие даты. В общем, через время он наконец то разобрался и мы заселились. После длительной дороги с тяжелыми рюкзаками было неприятно стоять и ждать, пока персонал разберется.

• Sandra (1/5): A deeply stressful stay due to a bedbug infestation and the hotel’s refusal to take responsibility. - The staff that we talk to on our day was nice. Unfortunately the rest of the stay was horrible. We had to leave due to bedbugs, and the hotel didn’t want to give us some refunds even though they saw the bugs themselves Unfortunately, my stay was severely affected by a bedbug infestation. We discovered multiple bites, and the presence of bedbugs was confirmed and documented. Even more concerning, we later learned that the hotel had been informed about the issue by a previous guest the week before. Despite several attempts to resolve the situation, the hotel refused a refund, leaving us with unexpected additional costs for alternative accommodation and for cleaning our clothes to prevent bringing the infestation home. The lack of responsibility, transparency, and care for guest safety was extremely disappointing.

• Dilan (1/5): Fazit: Wenn ihr euer Geld und eure Nerven liebt, geht auf keinen Fall in dieses Hotel! - Meine schlimmste Hotelerfahrung überhaupt! Das Zimmer war total dreckig – auf dem Boden lagen abgeschnittene Fingernägel, die ich sogar persönlich der Rezeptionistin gezeigt habe. Außerdem waren Make-up-Flecken auf meinem und dem Kissen meines Mannes sowie auf den Badetüchern zu sehen. Auf unserem Bett lagen fremde Haare, und im Bad befanden sich ebenfalls Haare und Reste einer Rasierklinge. Es war einfach nur ekelhaft! Dazu kam noch, dass es nachts unglaublich laut war – man konnte die Musik und den Lärm der Bars und Pubs draußen ganz deutlich hören, weil die Fenster überhaupt nicht dicht waren. Besonders gefährlich war auch, dass an der Bettwand eine offene Schraube herausragte – mein Mann hat sich fast den Kopf daran gestoßen. Jedes Mal, wenn wir das Zimmer zum Putzen freigegeben haben, kamen wir zurück und fanden dieselbe Bettwäsche, dieselben Handtücher und denselben Dreck – sogar der Fingernagel lag immer noch auf dem Boden! Als ich all das direkt am ersten Tag gemeldet habe, meinte die Rezeptionistin nur, sie könne nichts machen und würde es dem Manager weiterleiten. Eine Stornierung war leider nicht möglich.

• Тереза (6/5): - Страхотно местоположение и момчето на рецепция беше много любезно и разбрано. Наистина е доста шумно, но е нормално предвид това къде се намира. Банята не беше особено чиста и имаше проблем с казанчето на тоалетната, което като че ли след всяко пускане на вода в хотела, започваше да тече за малко. От двете страни на леглото явно е имало монтирани нощни лампи, но са премахнати и сега на тяхно място стърчат пирони, на които се надрах. В Booking пише че след предварителна резервация, може да се паркира на паркинг в близост до хотела за 15€ на ден, в което няма нищо вярно, казаха ни 50€ на ден. Няма да коментирам дървениците ....

• Denis (2/5): Careful with your belongings - The receptionist was very friendly, he always helped us with whatever we needed. Good location - you have clubs, restaurants, shops, public transportation near you Dirty rooms, hair and stains on towels, hair on bed, had to ask them to change every towel I had, AC was not cleaned, some towels have worse quality than others in terms of materials. Forgot a personal belonging in the room and I asked the receptionist if the cleaning lady found anything there so I can work on getting it back somehow but she said no so if you ever forget there something make sure you ain't getting it back.

• Islam (5/5): - The staff were nice. The room and the toilet are okay. The pictures of the room are after renovation, so it looks stunning. But in reality, the state of the room is different. The floor was oily and not very clean. The windows have tissues stuck on the corner, not sure why. The wallpaper near the windows is half ripped. The shower area's floor was slippery and not fully clean. The drainage on the shower had a lot of hair so the water was not going through. The door lock didn't work from inside. We were given the 4th floor and there is no elevator. The stairs are spiral and it's too difficult to go up every time. There is no security near the entrance, anyone can come inside. There was a lot of noise from the restaurants and nightclubs which can last until 5 am.

We stayed on the third floor, and there was some noise—the ceiling literally vibrated—but we were told it was due to the restaurant. The noise settled down around midnight. The next day, we were provided with a quiet room, which we really appreciated.

• Ксения (3/5): Зарезюмирую, что за такие деньги и в такие короткие сроки я не ожидала роскошных апартаментов с видом на Босфор. При это - Хорошо, что мне нашлось место, где переночевать после перелета. Там была вода и кровать. Из хорошего - все Из минусов: 1. Это находится на оживленной улице и даже ночью там творилась вакханалия , бегали дети , орали пьяные , и казалось бы это не имеет отношения к самому отелю, НО—> меня не встретили , так как это было достаточно поздно ночью и дверь отеля была открыта (это хорошо) , я смогла зайти и увидела скромный ресепшен из дивана и стола. Там никого не было и дозвониться по указанным номерам я не смогла , позвать никого тоже не получилось. Спасибо есть вотсап , через который , спустя 20 минут я смогла вызвонить менеджера. Пока я ждала , дверь отеля постоянно открывал ребенок и забегал внутрь с криком “ hello “. Это было супер крипово. Спустя 20 минут из каморки у ресепшен вышел молодой человек, быстро оформил меня по коду из приложения и отдал ключ от комнаты. 2. Внутри на первый взгляд (первые 10 секунд) все было ок. Далее , я откинула одеяло на кровати и там : несвежее постельное белье , волосы длинные и короткие , пятна на подушках. Я позвала менеджера и просила убирали ли этот номер ? На что он меня уверил , что лично контролирует уборку. Поменять номер мне не предоставили возможность и я смирилась , так как мне просто хотелось помыться и поспать. 3. Полы , углы, пространство под кроватью - все было в грязи и пыли , пятна на шторах. Прикасаться к чему либо мне было просто противно. 4. Зайдя в туалет я уже ожидала всего и мои ожидания оправдались - ободок унитаза был в пятнах , мебель у раковины вздутая , так как там протекал кран в процессе его использования и вся вода лилась на пол. Хорошо, что там были одноразовые тапочки и я смогла принять душ и не подхватить грибок. Из хорошего - были какие-то средства типа шампунь / гель . Пасты и зубной щетки не было, благо они были у меня. Полотенца были потасканы жизнью и пришлось выбирать лучшее из худших. 5. Как вишенка на торте - разбитое зеркало ) мелочь , но неприятно ) 6. Снаружи постоянно ходили какие-то люди и мне было страшно за то , что дверь может открыться.

• González Mederos (8/5): Repetiría por la ubicación y su precio. - La ubicación es muy buena, a 5 minutos de una parada de guagua que va a la zona de la mezquita azul y a 5 minutos caminando de taksim square, nosotros dábamos un paseo por taksim por la noche y era muy bonito, el personal amable, era una pareja joven que saben bastante bien inglés y te ayudaban en lo que necesitabas, a nosotros nos ayudó con el Uber de camino al aeropuerto. La cama es algo pequeña si eres una persona muy grande como era mi caso, pero se duerme bien igualmente. El sonido de la calle por la noche, molesta mucho, no es algo que me impidiese descansar porque llegaba al hotel cansado, pero si es algo que molesta, creo que hay una especie de karaoke porque siempre había un turco cantando, la música era sobre las 10 hasta las 4 am por ahí. El extractor del baño sonaba demasiado, ponías música en el móvil y es que ni se escuchaba la música.

• Mari-Ell (7/5): Go only if you are a smoker - The bed was comfortable with nice mattress and blanket. There is a big safe box and a small wardrobe in the room which is good. Small shampoo bottles and soap provided. Water kettle and glasses in the room. The location is on a very busy and lively street with lots of restaurants and pubs so expect some noise. With earplugs, it was possible to sleep. Good transportation options and small grocery shops around. Dirty floors, dirty fridge, dirty glasses. Floors were cleaned when we requested it. But the room was not made up or towels changed during our stay. Terrible smoke smell in the room, bathroom and especially corridor - the receptionist is smoking downstairs and smoke goes everywhere, probably also other guests smoke. One day we did not have running water, which is not the hotel’s fault, but they could have provided bottled water or communicated better about what happened and when the water might return.

Het is niet persee irritant of vervelend, je moet er tegen kunnen en tijdens het boeken kan je dit wel verwachten ivm midden in het centrum.

The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect to explore Beyoğlu. The room was cozy and well-decorated, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. So it was not possible to rest in the room if not at night time after 11 PM.

If you are pedantic and fastidious, then this may be a big disadvantage for you. Otherwise, it's a good place 👍

• Duhan (6/5): Dirty bed, good location and room - It was pretty tolerable for its price and location. There was blood spatters on the bad, or something black other than blood. Overall the bed sheaths were pretty dirty. I wouldn’t go there with a loved one
• Ammar (1/5): - It was the worst experience. The room is too congested. And it is so loud you cannot take a moment of rest. We checked out only 2 hours after checking in. And they never refunded a penny. Reached out to booking.com as well but they also didn't respond. Worst experience of our lives.
