This was a shirt walk from the main walking street in Taksim. I r3commend staying here for good value and cleanliness. The pillow was very lumpy so I suggest new replacements. The room was comfortable enough for one person and conveniently close to the vibrant heart of Istanbul. I chose the area myself, and now that I know the city better, I’d probably stay somewhere a bit more central next time. Carrying a suitcase up four flights at 2 a.m. was a bit of a workout, but the host was attentive, honest, and genuinely helpful. It’s good value for money: a clean, comfortable bed for exploring Istanbul by day. Just not the kind of place you linger in — especially not with an angry partner. There was a strong smell from the bathroom piping — not unusual in older buildings, especially in historic city centres. I’ve lived in places like this before, so I know it’s not really something that can be fixed without major work. It’s just part of the charm (and quirks) of old cities. It also wasn’t exactly quiet, but that’s entirely due to the area — lively, full of life, and exactly as I was told it would be. I was also well warned about the stairs, so no surprises

Definitely a good decision to stay here because especially at the offered price. Door to the room was really hard to lock from the inside, owner should definitely get that fixed because it took around 5 minutes and two people to lock the door every time, but other than that the hotel is very secure and comfortable.

He messaged back near enough straight away. Air con is great for these summer nights. Cons- we were put into the wrong room the first night which meant we were in the room with the balcony. It was very loud as you’re near a main road so me and my family couldn’t sleep. There was not enough mugs or bowls so we couldn’t really cook anything. We were moved the next day to the room we booked. There was no mugs in this room or bowls again so the room isn’t well equipped. The bathroom is quite small and wasn’t cleaned properly.

- Theodora (5/5): Unfortunately disappointed - To me the best part is the location, since the property is really close to Taksim square. Also, we were able to have early check in and late check out. The room was really dirty. I have taken pictures also. When we arrived at the room, the first thing I did as always was to check the bathroom. Speechless. I immediately informed the property and they send the male housekeeper, who dared to clean all the dirty with an already used and very dirty wettex. I went to the nearest supermarket and I bought some stuff so I can clean the bathroom. The bedside tables and a small table in the room were really dirty too and dusty. I CLEANED THEM MYSELF TOO.

When I checked in, the bedding and the towels were clean, but the floors and the toilet had been cleaned quickly and not thoroughly. I messaged the host who sent someone to clean again and there were no more issues. Good value for money in Beyoğlu and very close to Taksim square and Istiklal caddesi.

- Umbo (9/5): Recommended - Centrally located, clean and nice flats, good beds, adequate fire prevention measures, efficient communication with staff. Any troubles were solved properly. I think this is the best place at a fair price in this area. In some rooms the hot and cold water taps are incorrectly installed and at certain times of the day it can smell sewage coming up from the pipes, but this does not detract from the value of these flats

I didn't have any problems checking in. Location is pretty good, even though it's a bit far from Taksim itself there are many buses which stop nearby, and there are many places to eat or to buy drinks. Room was tiny with not much space to even properly have a cup of coffee for example, but it's ok for the price.

- Cory (9/5): Charming, and would stay here again. - The first room we were in was too small for us (I'm sure a great size for others), but the second room we were in was perfect. A quaint window and a nice couch to spread out on. The neighboring buildings are all a little sad. Our first room looked into a literal garbage pit. Not the fault of the hotel though, and it didn't pose any harm. Just not pretty to look at. The first room had an odd smell the first night—like a cat had been living there. But it went away quickly.

When you enter the hotel, it starts with a corridor and there are 4 floors, you go up the stairs directly to the rooms. The door to my room took a long time to open, the door was opened by a special device that we couldn't open, and then the owner opened it.
- Bonyo (10/5): Great value - Pretty decent suite, suitable for longer stays. Everything was clean, fresh and working. Yes, the street outside is a little bit shady at night, and not a very pleasant view form the room, but it's like just 20 meters from the corner of a main street full of little stores, foods and supermarket. The noise at night is not that loud at all, thought true that beeping is part of driving here, and this boulevard close by is alive pretty much all night. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was fine - yet small sink, which is common for the city given the limited space. Wi-fi was ok, the TV and minibar too (we didn't find any channels, but didn't mind at all as anyway they are all in turkish in general, so just watched Youtube on it). Communication with host was excellent and on time, helped us with all that we requested - just check msg from site in prior, to have the info, as it was self check-in and out Maybe 1-2 plates and spoons more could be usefull A little bit of stairs, if that would be problem for you (like many places in the city), din't bother us much.

- Anastasiia (8/5): Great choice! - Clean, beautiful with lot's of space. Very close to Taksim and Istiklal. Overall we enjoyed. We had trouble opening the door to the room, sometimes the lock didn't work and we had to wait for someone to fix it.
- Anfisa (8/5): In general, it’s a really nice option for its money. - The apartment is great for its money. It is located on a small street 5-10 minutes walk away from the center of Taksim area with all the nice cafes and shops. The bus and metro station that will take you anywhere you want are also close. It looks exactly like the picture. It’s very comfortable for 2 people, the bed is nice, the windows are big, it had everything we needed, a microwave, cooking stuff and so on. We stayed for 5 days, so the sheets and towels haven’t been changed, but we didn’t ask, so it’s also fine. The apartment is located close to the big road, and the noise can disturb at night, especially cause Turkish drivers seem to be quite loud :) I wish the towels and sheets would be a bit fresher and cleaner.

The staff was excellent and attentive and availalbe 24/7 for questions. The staff was very helpful on where to go and what to do.

- Dayang (9/5): Incredible - The location, the staffs and the room are spectacular. The room is exactly like what you see in the photos. Staffs were very helpfull and accomodating. Quick response. No elevator only stairs 😅
