It's one's home away from home! - First things first: Hotel Ravi is a gem--it's in a perfect location, just a short walk to Sultanahmet and Hagia Sophia and other major points of interest that folks come to Istanbul for. At the same time, it is also quiet (enough) for when you need peace and a semblance of "distance" away from the daily Istanbul hustle and bustle. The Ravi has a charming and welcoming ambience, offers a generous breakfast buffet (trust me--you'll need it for energy and sustenance), and most importantly (don't ignore this): a welcoming staff who are genuinely attentive, gracious, and want nothing more than your comfort. Take it from us: we stayed here in May 2024 for 10 nights (and loved every minute of it) and did 12 nights on this trip. Ayca, the hotel manager, is every guest's quintessential hostess-ambassador-"Istanbulpedia"-guide-cultural broker. She is such a warm and kind human being---and one who effortlessly becomes a friend for life to so many. From where we stand, look no further: hotel-searching can be (actually IS) a nightmare so much so that if you find the right place, you best "gatekeep" the secret for family and friends. • Liviu (9/5): - Locatie excelenta pentru un citybreak in Istanbul, la 3 minute de Moschea Albastra, 5 minute de Agia Sophia si 5 minute de statia de tramvai Sultanahmed. Chiar daca este centrala, locatia este foarte linistita, fara multimi si zgomote deranjante. Se pare ca hotelul este nou construit. Cei de la receptie au fost foarte amabili si primitori si ne-au ajutat cu informatii despre transportul in comun si skip the line la muzeele importante. Pozitia hotelului te poate ajuta sa eviti multimile de turisti la Agia Sophia, Moschea Albastra sau Basilica Cisterna. Zgomotul de apa curgand de la baia camerei invecinate se poate auzi deranjant, in special seara tarziu cand este liniste si incerci sa dormi sau daca esti mai sensibil. In rest camera a fost destul de bine izolata fonic, asa ca nu a fost un incovenient major.

The location is excellent, literally two minutes from the main mosques. The rooms are new and clean. On my birthday, they surprised me with a cake in my room with birthday wishes, so sweet! When I return to Istanbul, I will definitely stay with them again. Thank you!

Excelente elección en Istanbul! Quizas el desayuno es un poco repetitivo, y para los occidentales se echan de menos mas opciones, y tener la posibilidad de beber un buen cafe que no sea de maquina.

El personal muy atento, la habitación muy limpia, espaciosa, con un cuarto de baño con todos los detalles. Y la limpieza y cambio de toallas, según necesitabas, perfecto. Y el bufé de desayuno aun siendo de estilo turco, tenía detalles occidentales que se agradecían. En resumen, realmente merece la pena. Todo estuvo genial.

The location is next to all the major sights and it takes 2 minutes to walk to the T1 (tram to visit Karakoy, reachable in 15 minutes). The rooms are comfy and perfectly soundproofed. +++ kindness and helpfulness of the staff. They give great tips for visits (and how to avoid surcharges or scams!). Last but not least, the (Turkish) breakfast buffet is varied with a fresh and different selection of cold and hot dishes everyday.

Wenn man Hilfe benötigt, bekommt man sie. Ayca, Yacub, Hamet und all die anderen sind so so toll. Die Betten sind etwas hart. Dadurch konnte meine Frau nicht gut schlafen.

• Seamus (10/5): One of the best hotel experiences I had in a heck of a long time. - Normally I don't take the time to rate the hotels I stay at, but this place is something else. Location is great; just around the corner from the Blue Mosque and a short walk to the T1 tram line. The staff was absolutely fantastic and their assistance and recommendations really were spot on. The entire place has recently been renovated and everything worked. They even have a full size elevator, which was a definite plus. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Istanbul. I did not have more time to seem more of Istanbul.

• Juan Ramón (10/5): - Muy bien ubicado y el personal lo mejor de todo . El recepcionista Haten muy amable y nos los explicó todo perfectamente. Si volvemos este hotel sería nuestra primera opción. Un poco pequeña la habitación y el desayuno podría mejorar un poco

• Donald (10/5): The perfect hotel. - This hotel was perhaps the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in. The location was perfect. It was close to everything that I wanted to see and close to the local Metro Station, most importantly, though the staff were, perhaps the most kind and helpful staff that I have been encountered anywhere in a long time, they were more than willing to answer my questions and help me when I needed something. There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about this property. The breakfast was good. The location was amazing. The hotel was clean and the staff was incredibly helpful.

• FANI (10/5): - Το κατάλυμα σίγουρα θα το προτιμούσαμε ξανά σε επόμενη επίσκεψη! Η τοποθεσία ήταν πάρα πολύ βολική, δίπλα σε συγκοινωνία και σε όλα τα μεγάλα αξιοθέατα. Το προσωπικό υπέρ το δεον ευγενικό και φιλόξενο, μας βοήθησαν σε όλα από την πρώτη στιγμή, μας καθοδήγησαν και ήταν πάντα χαμογελαστοί και πρόσχαροι. Το δωμάτιο καινούριο, πάντα καθαρό και τακτοποιημένο με όλες τις παροχές και επιπλέον άνετο ειδικά για 2 άτομα. Value for money επιλογή και τους ευχαριστούμε για όλα !!

Направиха ни план за посещение на Истанбул и какво да избягваме, любезни и винаги усмихнати, почувствахме се като у дома си. Бихме се върнали пак там заради локация, чистота, добро обслужване, само следващия път бихме взели по голяма стая а не икономична, твърде малка е. Стаята беше твърде малка

• Cristián Rodrigo (10/5): Supero mi expectativa. - La verdad cumplió con todas mis expectativas. Un hotel pequeño pero con un excelente servicio, limpio, linda presentación, super bien ubicado, accesible, una zona tranquila y segura. Se lo recomendé a unos amigos que viajarán más adelante y se quedarán allí. En lo que a mí respecta, si algún día regreso, será mi primera opción este hotel. En relación al servicio, Jacobo de la recepción es muy amable, carismático y a pesar de la herrera del idioma tuvo siempre la mejore disposición.

The staff were very pleasant, helpful, and always available. The location is excellent—close to restaurants and the main attractions, which made everything very convenient The breakfast was decent, but the variety of options of western breakfast could be improved.

• Lloyd (10/5): The Ravi is an excellent 3-star hotel in an great location with an abundance of Turkish hospitality. - The Ravi is an excellent 3-star hotel in an great location with an abundance of Turkish hospitality. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. The management and staff were fluent in English, polite and very helpful, recommending really good local restaurants and helping with transfers to the airport. Located on a quite side street, the Ravi is an easy 5 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Hippodrome and 2 minutes from a pharmacy. The basement breakfast room is located atop an exposed Byzantine palace wall. The Ravi does not pretend to be more than it is and it does what a hotel should do very, very well. The Ravi was a great value.

• Ozdemir (10/5): Excellent - J’ai séjourné à l’hôtel Ravi du 23 au 29 janvier et j’ai vraiment adoré mon séjour. L’hôtel est très propre, beau et agréable. Son emplacement est tout simplement parfait : à seulement 5 minutes de Sainte-Sophie, nous étions proches de tout, ce qui est vraiment idéal. Le personnel de l’hôtel est exceptionnel : très sympathique, accueillant et toujours disponible. Ils sont présents à tout moment et nous nous sommes senties en sécurité dès notre arrivée. Je remercie chaleureusement tous les membres du personnel pour leur excellent accueil et leur gentillesse. Je recommande vivement l’hôtel Ravi, les yeux fermés.

The location was perfect and made everything very convenient. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

• Martina (10/5): Wonderful staff and a hotel that will make you feel at home :) - We liked the great location in the very center. The hotel is peaceful and not surrounded by noise. Everything was clean, and the breakfast was quite good. What impressed us the most was the wonderful satff and hotel manager, who were always very kind and ready to help with anything! :) There is nothing we didn' t like.
• Annette (10/5): Weekend trip - We have really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ravi. Excellent location a few minutes stroll from the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sofia. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. A good varied breakfast choice also. We would definitely recommend Hotel Ravi . Lots of restaurants and shops in the area also. Could not fault this hotel.
• Ionut (10/5): - Totul, multi turci sunt de regula de treaba in hoteluri dar aici e peste asteptari. Oamenii de aici au fost minunati si este singurul hotel (in 14 ani de cand vin la Istanbul) unde este o zona linistita si este la 2-3 minute de mers pe jos pana in statia de tramvai. Singurul hotel in care nu trebuie sa cobori sau sa urci un deal pentru a ajunge la el sau in statia de tramvai. Va fi cu siguranta hotelul la care ma voi intoarce mereu

• Hiroko (9/5): イスタンブールを観光で訪れたい人にはとてもおすすめです。 - スルタンアフメットエリアにあり、ブルーモスク、アヤソフィア、トプカプ宮殿、地下宮殿などに徒歩で行かれて、観光にはとても便利です。ホテルはシンプルで、日本のビジネスホテルのような感じです。 ホテルのスタッフはアットホームで、初めてイスタンブールを訪れたと話すととても親切にアドバイスをしてくれ、助かりました。
• lgchartmann (9/5): Excelente estadia! - O hotel tem quartos novos, muito limpo, com banheiros excelentes. Calefação perfeita. Café da manhã excelente. Equipe muito atenciosa. A localizaçnao do hotel é ótima, ao lados das mesquitas!
