Location is great to get to various sights in Istanbul. The window of the room I had booked did not go to the outside, so I only had a view to a wall.

Aber dafür "entschädigt" die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse, auf der sich das Restaurant befindet.

Most major attractions can be reached on foot. Walking around the neighbourhood is pleasant and scenic. A great way to combine sightseeing with light exercise. Nearby Attractions (within walking distance) Hagia Sophia Blue Mosque Basilica Cistern Istanbul Modern Art Museum Galata Tower Rainbow Stairs Transport & Taxi Access Although we were told taxis could not reach the hotel, this was not an issue. The taxi booked through Booking.com from the airport dropped us off directly in front of the hotel. For the return trip to the airport, the taxi arranged by the hotel was accessible about 100 metres from the hotel, which was a very short walk. Walking Conditions No steep hills around the hotel. Easy and comfortable to walk even with luggage. Overall Impression Very convenient location for exploring Istanbul. Ideal for travellers who enjoy walking and discovering the city on foot.

It’s rare to find a place that feels this welcoming and curated at the same time. I am planning to come back to Istanbul with my family and stay here. The Turkish style breakfast is super, must try. - Seidi (7/5): Great cool concept hotel, but could be improved - Beautiful decoration; great location near Sultanahmet, Eminonu Pier, Karakoy/Galata; the general concept (cool); great view rooftop. Nice reception staff. Although a quite new hotel - old building beautifully restored, if you look the details especially in the room, the feeling of a luxury hotel is starting to take its toll maybe due to some problems of the construction work/execution like the excess glue on the mirror edges; baseboards, some walls, floor already looking worn out; lightings more theatrical than functional, particularly the one on the desk - dim lit not enough light for work or read, write something; toilet part could be shattered at least with drywall and wooden door for more privacy - could be an design/architecture masterpiece but not so useful in everyday life; breakfast nice but maybe gourmet oriented, so for example the menemen doesn’t come bubbling hot like in the hearty and simple eateries you find in whole Istanbul; the menemen, in the English menu is written shakshuka - for most foreigners poached whole in shakshuka vs. scrambled in menemen - so bit confusing - should be written menemen as well in English menu; some staffs at the rooftop restaurant could be improved.

- Farrah (10/5): Little gem of a hotel with caring staff - Room was decorated romantically, breakfast options were lovely, beautiful top roof views, location amazing for Marmara, Team and Taxi. Friendly staff. Thanks to Zeynap and Nikki. It is located on a quiet street but the hustle and bustle is nearby and located close to all tourist attractions within 5 to 10 minute travel either by foot or public transport. Nothing to dislike.

- Raul (10/5): Extraordinary stay! - The incredible rooftop restaurant of this hotel is reason enough to stay in this property. The views of the city, the golden horn, the Hagia Sophia, and the Galata Tower are amazing. The food, the cocktails and the service were five stars. Yet, the rooms and the location do not fall behind. The rooms are modern, spacious, well appointed and unique. The location is also perfect, right in the center of the historic peninsula of Istanbul, on a pedestrian street, the hotel is both surprinsingly quiet, yet also a short walk from all major sites. Finally, the staff, without exception, was friendly, attentive and helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Please note if using a taxi of the street they cannot get to the door of the hotel as it is in a restricted area. Taxis organised by the hotel have rights to drive up to the entrance of the hotel. The room was nice. The only drawback was there was not enough hanging space for clothing. We had to keep most of our clothes in our suitcase. Fabulous views from the rooftop restaurant (you have breakfast at this level) plus it is a formal restaurant at midday and in the evenings. Really good food. Fantastic service. A little pricey.

We drove a rental car, and initially this was my biggest worry about getting parking and getting to the hotel. The hotel contacted us ahead of time and gave us a parking lot location nearby and had Mr.Berat welcomed us at the parking lot and walked us to the hotel. Greatly appreciate Mr.Berat for accompanying us! The room was spacious and clean and had everything we need. We also love the room design, modern but unique. - Tom (10/5): What a great break, I’ll look for an excuse to come and stay here again! - Hotel was excellent, rooms fantastic, staff couldn’t have been better. Would absolutely recommend to others. Rooftop bar/restaurant was amazing and the icing on the cake, where you could enjoy breakfast in the sun with a fantastic view of the river and the surrounding mosques. WiFi wasn’t free. Should be easier to get online. TV had very standard channel package so a bit disappointing. Hotel dinner menu choice was very limited (but food was excellent)

- Karlis (9/5): Superb - For 250 eur/night it was very good. Breakfast was really nice and tasty with proseco. Location also was very good, on quite street next to main buz. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Bathroom and toilet with glass walls was not preferred option but was ok. 17 eur for gin and tonic is expensive even for European standards.

- Gurpreet (8/5): Amazing people. Amazing hotel. Amazing location. - It is a brand new or rather an upgraded version of the property. The breakfast was a proper deal breaker. You are spoilt for options. The staff are extremely polite and respectful. Location is great. Walkable to the metro. Very centralized location. The room I got was unfortunately next to the lift. Being a light sleeper, I had descriptive sleep when people were talking loudly in the night to their rooms from the lift.

It was a wonderful experience - the location, the food, room, service, spa… everything 10 out of 10 and even more! I enjoyed the stay a lot and would deffinetely come back one day!

The hotel’s location is perfect—right in the heart of Fatih and just a short walk from the metro station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Istanbul. The interiors of both the hotel and our room were beautifully designed, exuding elegance and comfort. The staff were outstanding—polite, attentive, and always willing to assist with any request. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the rooftop restaurant, which offered breathtaking views of the city. The Turkish breakfast spread was simply delightful, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul—it’s the perfect blend of luxury, convenience, and warm hospitality. -

- Natalia (9/5): Beatiful hotel in the heart of Old Istambul - The building was very nice, well decorated, very nice ambience. Breakfast was delicious, with a lot of choices, a la carte. Staff was very helpful and gentile, excellent service. It is ideally located to explore Old Istanbul. The room didn't have enough closet space. The bathroom was nice but divided by glasses so there was not much intimacy. Everything else was perfect.

- Karen (10/5): Wonderful Stay, Wonderful Staff - Hotel was well situated with in the old town of Istanbul. It was centrally located to all the major attractions yet in on a quiet street. The room was clean, spacious and updated. The breakfast which was offered in the wonderful rooftop restaurant was plentiful and delicious. The dishes were beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients. I do have to say however that the best feature of this hotel was it's staff. There was always someone at the front desk willing to offer assistance, advice or a friendly smile. Our thanks go particularly to Taylan who helped us with an issue in our room and gave us some interesting information on sites in the city. The layout of the bathroom was not my favorite. No way to close it off to keep the warm air in when you shower.

- maria teresa (6/5): Sobrecalificado - Este está sobre calificado, no está en su mejor estado posible ni en mantenimiento ni en limpieza, las habitaciones son obscuras. Ell Personal de recepción es eficiente y muy amable, sin embargo el personal en el restaurante tiene un servicio muy deficiente, esperamos mucho tiempo por el desayuno, queríamos pedir un segundo café y el personal simplemente estaba ocupado fumando en la terraza. La persona que te recibe en el restaurante era la única que estaba cerca así que le le pedimos el café, tuvo el mal tono de decir que sus compañeros estaban ocupados que en un momento más vendrían mientras nosotros los veíamos fumar a 2 metros de nosotros en la terraza.

- Rayelle (10/5): - The staff at the hotel made my stay great, they were so friendly and helpful. For example, they helped me let me borrow a travel card to use during my stay. There was a downside. My original room (room 402) was very noisy, located underneath the kitchen I could hear the doors swinging most of the night then again early in the morning. The staff quickly resolved this again proving how great they are at helping guests! The location of the hotel is only a 15-minute walk to the historical sites and a 5-minute walk to the T1 tram allowing you easy access to other sites like Dolmabahce Palace
- Gert (10/5): Fantastic Istanbul stay. - What an absolutely beautiful hotel! It is very conveniently located within walking distance of most tourist attractions. The breakfast was simply the best we have ever had at a hotel, with such a spectacular view! Special thanks to the team at the Roof Mezzepotamia restaurant (Fulya, Aram, Ōtepe, Enes and Fatih) for the friendly service. The reception staff went out of their way to assist us with any requests. Abrek Öce and Batikah Cicim were simply superstars. We thouroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay and would most certainly return when travelling to Istanbul! Nothing!
