JOIVY wants you to have a fantastic stay, and we encourage you to see this property as a home away from home. There are, however, a few points we politely ask guests to note before their arrival and throughout their stay: Strictly no smoking, no parties, no pets. Dispose of rubbish appropriately. Keep the property clean and tidy. Washing up before check-out is kindly required, while stripping the beds would be appreciated but is by no means expected. Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 9 AM. So please keep the noise down and respect the neighbors in the building. Please remember to close all windows and doors when leaving. Careful attention to the keys is extremely important. Guests are responsible for any additional costs resulting from misplaced keys or locksmith call-outs. To ensure the safety of our current and future guests, we ask all guests to complete our online check-in form and to provide a valid form of identification. Due to the ongoing energy crisis, the following rules apply to all properties in Italy: Guests are obliged by Italian law to follow the rules regarding rubbish collection and recycling. The schedule is different for each city, and guests can find written instructions on the property. Guests are obliged by Italian law to provide identification and pay the city tax before check-in. JOIVY will not provide access if the online check-in form is not completed or the city tax is not paid. The condominium (central) heating will work on a schedule, as imposed by Italian law, and heating cannot be adjusted. The schedule will operate as follows: 6 AM to 9 AM, 12 PM to 2 PM, and 8 PM to 11 PM. The highest temperature allowed by Italian law for the residential sector is 19 degrees Celsius for all thermostats, both central and autonomous heating. Please do not use more than one appliance at once. Otherwise, you may experience power outages. If this happens, guests will need to reset the fuze box. Please note that if the type of check-in of the property you have booked is "Greeter", there will be extra Late Check-in Fees (note that late check-in has surcharges, payable via card/payment link before your arrival:) for check-in after 7 pm.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Suvedi (4/5): Disappointing - The location was convenient, just a short walk from the metro station. Check-in went smoothly, and the instructions provided in the app were clear and easy to follow. The electricity went out during the night while the kettle was on and the bathroom was in use, which was quite inconvenient. There was also a strong, lingering smell of incense throughout the apartment. Each time we stepped outside for a smoke, the neighbor's dog would start barking, which added to the disturbance. In the morning, it was difficult to get any rest due to the constant sound of someone walking in heels combined with loud construction work around the building. Perhaps we were just unlucky, but overall, our stay wasn’t as pleasant as we had hoped.
Jonas (2/5): Worst stay ever!! - When we arrived, we have barely got any information on how to get access to our room. We tried to call them, but they were very rude and almost got angry on us, because we didn’t have the information (which they didn’t send us). When we got down in the smelly basement a big dog was barking from our apartment, and we once again called them, and they said: “There is absolutely nothing we can do about it”, and then hung up.. When we finally got rid of the dog, we went inside, and at first sight everything seemed fine. But the sheets were smelly and got spots and dirt on it. The kitchen was also very dirty. This is the best example of “dont judge a book by its cover”, because everything seemed fine, but to sum it up everything was terrible…
Cameron (10/5): Residential Milan Stay - This was a fantastic studio apartment in a residential part of Milan. The apartment was in great condition, completely clean, and had windows and air conditioning that made a late spring visit very comfortable. The apartment was close to restuarants, bars, and had a supermarket a few blocks away. Public transit was easy to walk to and made getting around the city very easy. It is a great apartment in a nice area. I enjoyed my stay.
Martin (6/5): Pleasant - Clean apartment, nice bathroom and amenities. The neighborhood is calm and it's around 25 minutes by foot right to the city center. If there is something wrong, you can call the staff and they will help you. The apartment is behind two doors and the outer door is shared with two other apartments. In one of them there was a really loud dog barking whenever we opened the outer door. It is not the most convenient to be in the half basement floor, so that wasn't great either. We didn't notice it was partially under the ground level until after the booking was done. Only paid parking in the area or parking only for residents. Also the online check-in was a very painful procedure because they had a new system that didn't work (yet) and I had to call someone three times just to fully check-in.
Sofia (8/5): I would come back here - very spacious compared to hotels with the same price, good facilities and no noose from the road or the neighbours A bit far away from the metro (20 minute walk)
