• a (2/5): 1 hour waited infront of gate with no one to help - Dear Host, I am writing to you to provide feedback on our recent stay at your property in Florence, from 25th Aug to 27th Aug. Before our arrival, I had messaged you to confirm our check-in time would be between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was no one there to let us in, and we were unable to reach you by phone. We waited for over 45 minutes outside the building, and at that point, we were very stressed and concerned about the situation. Eventually, we had to contact Hotels.com for assistance. They were able to get in touch with you, and a colleague was sent to let us into the apartment. While we appreciate that you sent someone to help, the delay was very frustrating and created a very unpleasant start to our trip. Once inside, we found several issues that affected the quality of our stay: Kitchen: The kitchen was not as clean as we would have expected. We also found that essential cooking items like oil were missing, along with some basic utensils. Bathroom: The water was clogged in the bathroom sink, making it difficult to use. Additionally, the water in the shower was draining very slowly, causing it to pool while showering. Overall, the combination of the check-in problem and the issues with the apartment itself made for a disappointing experience. I wanted to bring these matters to your attention so that they can be addressed for future guests.

• Eri (8/5): - The property was clean and easy to access to the train and bus. You can walk to almost all major spots and is safe. But there's just one thing to point out. The bar just across the street opens till very late at night(almost 3 AM), and very, very noisy every night! I couldn't sleep in the bedroom facing the street and had to use the sofabed in the living room. I know that it's not the property's respnsibility, but I think it has to be known in advance.
• Pam (6/5): Service Not Great - The guy who checked us and was great. But then we had a hairdryer that wouldn’t work and we needed more towels. So we contacted the service people. They were very non communicative and then brought the stuff we needed a day after they said they were going to.
• Rosie (8/5): Great base to explore Stunning Firenze! - Great location, near Santa Maria Novella Piazaa and train station. Really easy to get to from airport via tram. Quite spacious, there were four of us - possibly a squeeze for more. Cool tiled floors Air con would be a bonus in the heat of Florence in the summer but fans were provided which helped. The main bedroom looks out onto the street which turned out to be very busy & noisy early mornings with deliveries etc. I can take that for the central location but it might not suit everyone.

• Chris (7/5): Great location but too damn hot inside!! - Great location and quirky old apartment. Really easy access to the city highlights. And a great restaurant right across the road. The air conditioning was totally inadequate to deal with the heat (mind you it was 35c during our stay). Only 3 small fans/ac units that couldn’t cool the place. One bedroom is internal with no windows so it became an oven. That was the only downside.
• Shawna (5/5): Okay - Clean beds Run down floors and paint. Looked dirty but bathroom was clean. Very noisy hot and mosquitoes. A fan would help. Overpriced for what you got.
• Beth (2/5): This apartment is not worth it due to the noisy bars and restaurants that keep you up all night (waaaay past midnight). - The location to attractions was good, and the mattresses were comfortable. The bars and restaurants that were directly across the narrow street meant there was loud noise all.night.long. We slept with the windows sealed shut (making it hot and stuffy), with earplugs in, and with a travel fan on. And it was STILL noisy. Neither of the bedrooms were sleep-able because of the noise. Furthermore, we asked for a couple of extra pillowcases, but they wanted to charge €15 to bring them over the next day. Instead, we wrapped the extra pillows in towels and slept on them that way. They gave us two teeny tiny bars of soap (for four adults/five nights) that barely lasted a couple of showers. The shower curtain was ineffective, because it wasn’t long enough, so we had to sop up all the escaped water after each shower. This was not a nice place to stay, and we were disappointed with it.
