Guest Reviews

- Colleen (9/5): Haven in Santo Spirito - I really enjoyed the two bedroom lounges, which were really comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need, and we replaced the empty olive oil bottle. It was clean and modern, as well as well-decorated. We made use of the washing machine and drying rack while there. I loved being in Santo Spirito, so close to the Piazza and Porto Romana. Just wish there was more time! The water temperature in the bathroom was very fickle. It could go from scalding hot to ice cold in seconds.
- Maria (10/5): Very pretty and perfect location, host was lovely and very helpful - Lovely painting on ceiling. Very central but not loud or too busy.
- Mohamed (9/5): Séjour exceptionnel riche d’histoire - Emplacement et propreté Absence du parking
- Magdalena (7/5): - Comfortable apartment. Close to all attractions. Lots of pubs around. Clogged drain in the shower, which was very unpleasant during a drip. Considering that you pay 130 euros for cleaning, this should be fixed.
Service unpleasant. I was there on time (maybe 3 min after). I spoke to the service lady, who said she had no time and had to go to the next person (phone call, not text message). As a result, I waited for her for about 40 min (we sat with my family under the building, like some homeless people). I didn't have the form filled out, because I had traveled in Tuscany earlier, and the internet works very poorly everywhere. Besides, we had an argument with the lady from the service, about the damage deposit. In the end, I was sentenced to a fee of 25 euros for late check-in.... Pomino that I was the one who waited for the lady. I had the impression that it was for punishment.... While the place is nice, I don't think I will ever stay there again.
- Diana Paola (7/5): Overall, the apartment is ok. The location makes up for the inconveniences. However, I would not recommend the place fo - Amazing location! The water temperature of the shower is impossible to regulate. With a family of 5 using the same bathroom, it took longer to get ready as, everyone had to wait (and waste tons of water) for the temperature to be bearable, as it goes from extremely cold to extremely hot in seconds. My daughter and I have long hair, so showering and washing hair was a nightmare. Thank goodness we were able had to leave a night early and moved to a nicer apartment with a decent shower (and decent water heater).
We also were not provided bed linens for the sofa bed, and my son had to sleep for our entire stay (we booked for 6 nights!) in a filthy mattress protector. Thank goodness I found a fresh flat sheet for him to cover up.
When I reached out, they told me I should have contacted them the night of our arrival. I admit it was my bad not to have alerted them the first/second day but we had activities scheduled outside Florence and by the time I got to the apartment it was late nights. Anyways, when they are so strict about their policies to customers, they could also understand and be a bit more sensitive and service oriented, especially if they missed a basic accommodation point like placing fresh linens on a mattress!!! They knew our names, nationalities, ages etc! So they knew it’s a family of 5 arriving: meaning the three beds would be needed!
- Teresa (9/5): Great, centrally located apartment in Florence. - The apartment was extremely well equipped with every necessary appliance, crockery, cooking utensils etc. The bedrooms are spacious, double beds in both and lots of wardrobe space, long mirrors, tvs. Excellent lock on apartment door itself.
Location in Santo Spirito was great. Less than 15 mins walk to shopping, and many tourist areas; very centrally positioned. Loads of restaurants- some good ones on the same street! Bus stop nearby- 5 min walk. There is no lack of hot water at all, but for whatever reason, the shower thermostat is very sensitive - water can suddenly turn extremely hot or cold when you think temperature is to your liking. We both found it difficult to regulate.
- Estefanía (8/5): Good - Friendly staff, they left some coffee and tea for us for free. The apartment was extremely spacious and well equipped (ACs, sofa in bedroom, hairdryer, full kitchen with dishwasher, large dressers, etc.). The location was quiet yet very accessible by public transport. I would stay here again. The bed seemed quite old and somewhat hard. The linens could also be renewed.
There was an odd smell in the kitchen, it seems the apartment could use some extra airing out. It goes away once you open the window but mosquitos can get in, a net for that would also help improve it.
Watch out for the floor inside the bedrooms, in some areas it's uneven and you may trip.
- Fleur (8/5): Very good - Great location. Decent size. Felt safe. The heating wasn’t on.
- Mirela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jose (9/5): Great place - Everything is perfect Could be improve the accommodation have some tea and coffee and why not a bottle of wine available (in place we found sugar, salt, olive oil, and in the toilet some clothes detergent)
- George (9/5): Good location, easy access, clean, accommodating, amazing staff ! - Great location in minutes walk distance to the main attractions. We had a great stay without the stress of using public transport or a car. The kitchen equipped with all you need for trying some Italian recipes for your own. Verry good restaurants and Pizza in Piazza Santo Spirito, two minutes away from the apartment.
- Bushi (8/5): Very good - It was quite nice and the location was perfect Nothing
- Salome (10/5): Perfecto - Everything except for a WIFI Wifi
- Louisa (9/5): Superb -
- Esther (6/5): Alright but awful communication with the property - It was well decorated and spacious. Plenty of things for the kitchen if cooking is needed. Great location with occasional markets in the nearby square. There was terrible communication and almost all of my enquiries are still unresolved even after check out. Namely the issue with the heater and enquiring on transport options especially on hiring a taxi.
There were delays to my connection to Florence and I informed the greeter on this. I asked on transport options to the apartment but this was unresolved. Upon arriving, the greeter was not there to greet us. I texted her on whatsapp with the number she contacted me but to no reply. I called twice but there was no pick up till the third attempt. We waited for about 10-20 minutes outside the building for her reply.
With regards to the heater, it was fairly cold for us, and even more so for my parents. We were unable to turn on the heater and messaged the property on booking.com as instructed by the greeter. I was sent a contact number who actually sent me a message on Whatsapp. However when I replied and asked on how to use the heater, he did not reply since the first night and we stayed at the property from 16-21 November. I additionally messaged on booking.com but also to no avail. Hence we had to stay without being able to turn on any of the heating.
Also to note the building (like most buildings in this city) has little to no reception. The greeter informed us the wifi password and information was in the first bedroom but it was nowhere to be found. I had bought data but because there was no signal inside I had to exit the building (not just the apartment) to send a message. Thankfully, the greeter was able to obtain the wifi information for me. However, when ordering tickets whatsoever and making online transactions, due to the lack of signal you will not be able to receive SMS for OTPs etc. If staying here I would recommend making purchases outside if you have data.
Although I stayed in the room where the modem was, the wifi was overall quite poor and unstable. The second room had poorer connection than the first.

- Rod (4/5): Flat was nice, the service wasn't! - If you don't have an Identification Card whatever country you're from make sure any person staying has their passport!!! They don't accept a Driving License! Well, I always believe in starting with a positive. The shower is quite small but not a game-changer, it's a really nice flat!!!
Firstly, if a flat isn't ready that's the 'FIRST' thing they should let people know, AND if you have a checking in time within the hour; (I had 3-4 pm) that you don't have your reps saying, 'I've got another a 3 pm', etc. I have many texts! It causes stress having to rush to cater for your employees' timetable! PLEASE don't have a go at the girl who checked us in, she was only doing her job, but you have to train her better than that. We walked in, the flat wasn't ready; a complete mess, but she completely ignored it and went on and on about passport pictures, and air conditioning units whilst hoping we would ignore the obvious! It was bizarre, and if we weren't so nice about it she could've become unstuck! Better communication! She then went on about checking out at 10 am which was ironic because all we got were demands whilst we were stood in your dirty flat!!! Your cleaner lad, (who did a fantastic job!) then arrived to clean. We were out for 3 and a half hours, and when we got back he was still there cleaning the floors. We still couldn't unpack. My girlfriend told him to not worry about it and go. Thus the flat wasn't ready till about 6.30/7 pm. We were only there 2 nights so value for money was not good! You also need to be careful about Health and Safety. It's dark, you have to find the light. Both when we arrived and left there were laundry bags left in places they shouldn't have been. The dear lady tripped up and fell!....We shouldn't have to be working around you in our time especially as your demands were relentless!...Which leads to my final point. I've counted around 15 emails from you before, during, and after which drove me nuts!!! Every time I looked there was an email from you, asking, checking, etc, etc.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - The location was great. It was a cute little apartment.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, excellent host who met us, late check in fee of €45 euros was a let down after a delay from a late flight.
However the overall experience of the stay was excellent, really comfortable and a high standard. Late check in fee
