- JeanneFleur63 (10/5): Absolutely Wonderful - I selected this hotel for ourselves and a group of friends. They all complimented my genius choice for our first visit to Bangkok. We booked executive lounge rooms and we ate dinner there every night at 5:30. It was mainly appetizers but a large variety and really delicious with sufficient quantity for a full meal. The included breakfast on floor 5 had the biggest buffet I’ve ever seen representing all Asian cuisine plus boring Western ones. Everything was delicious and a big plus for me adjusting to jet lag is the opening hour of 6 am. We took a few tours that I booked independently with Get Your Guide and Viator that provided round trip transportation to the hotel. Direct link to airport via sky train also brilliant! Bangkok is a good place to visit minus the traffic and air pollution. However, this hotel is the highlight of our trip.

The facilities and rooms were very modern and clean. The location was so convenient being on the airport link and walking distance to convenience stores and food options.

- Swl0321 (6/5): Nice hotel, but room/cleanliness issues and not informed of direct-booking benefits. Adequate recovery - Location right next to Phayathai and connected to ARL and BTS. Moderately walkable to siam (it is one bts statuon away), and next to Phayathai train station, good for train-watching. Nice room. Unfortunately, there were issues with our assigned room and there were also cleanliness issues in the hotel that reduced the score. Toiletries are by ecogenesis, but would prefer something else as these are sometimes used in 3-star hotels We were also not informed of the direct-booking benefits throughout our stay. Nice swimming pool and gym, although the swimming pool can get quite crowded during the day. Hotel compensation was adequate Staff were generally friendly, particularly lounge manager Phruetsakorn Phongam, and Sora, although one bar staff seemed unfriendly/unhappy when she found out that we were redeeming our welcome drink.

Room was airy, comfortable, strong hot water pressure, great WiFi and extraordinary delicious buffet breakfast. The location is the best to get to BKK or to go anywhere in Bangkok’s attractions conveniently by public transportation. I has been staying here for many years and will keep coming back in the future.
- Mylothefrenchie (10/5): Hard to Fault – A Standout Hotel in Bangkok - As a frequent traveller, I stay in hotels regularly and have fairly high standards and Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok exceeded them. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city with a direct internal link to the BTS station, which makes getting around Bangkok effortless. The rooms are modern, spacious, and very comfortable, and the hotel is exceptionally well maintained. What really stood out was the service. I arrived early in the morning on an international flight and asked if early check-in might be possible. The team went above and beyond, kindly allowing me to check in on the Monday morning rather than waiting until the usual 2pm, a much-appreciated gesture after a long journey. The staff throughout the hotel are friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. I honestly struggle to find fault with this hotel and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travellers.
- Lsh1989 (2/5): Power sockets not working, flies in breakfast area and lift - The room is a joke. There are many power sockets not working. The engineer came to the room 3 times and at one point even management couldn't resolve it claiming that the power sockets would take too long to fix. For a 5 star hotel this is simply disappointing and disgraceful. This is the first time a 5 star luxury hotel has so many sockets not working and gives up trying to fix them. Turn down service had to be requested unlike in other similar rated hotels where they are automatically done. For the turndown service we only got 2 bottles of water. In the morning, no one came to knock at our door to ask if we wanted it cleaned so at 1230pm I called for cleaning service. At other similarly rated hotels normally before 1130 am I would get a knock on my door and a cleaner asking what time they could clean it. In addition, there are flies in the breakfast area and lifts. No idea how they maintain the property.
- Wanderer64159325782 (10/5): Excellent hotel at a convenient location to explore Bangkok - Location near train link to airport and BTS stations makes this hotel an excellent choice to stay in Bangkok. Good breakfast with a lot of choice, excellent restaurant at the 22nd floor, and nice swimming pool there. Rooms are comfortable, very cleanand have good beds, but are probably a bit smaller than usual in a 5 star hotel.

Rooms are spacious and I excellent condition two hotel pools 37th floors in r one has amazing views of the city and is more for fitness the 22nd floor you can get drinks and food again an amazing view of the city … every details is well thought out ! Breakfast of champions everything from noodle soup to cooked ham the choice is endless and absolutely top notch ! Just outside the hotel is a evening food market where you can get anything from mango smoothie to roasted pork with rice at incredible low prices to the right is a inside market which also sells food if your feeling brave enough to try ! The hotel has great transport links with the BTS just a short walk taxis and Tuk tuks just outside the Concierge will call a taxi for you but allow extra time in the evenings traffic is bad ! Before I arrived I liaised with the hotel to book an excursion this was all sorted before we arrived it was well worth the few extra pounds to have our own guide / Driver and boat ! Direct access to airport link which helped me a lot saving time during my travel. (avoiding traffic jam by using BTS or Airport link) 2. I booked a room with Lounge access where I can enjoy variety of snacks and drinks while working on meeting. Staff are very friendly and kind especially Khun Preaw, Olive and Jemy, if I recognized their name well ( sorry if I am wrong). I was served by these staffs and they are really supportive! 3. The breakfast places, I am able to choose 2 places which both are good, different experience of foods and ambience. 4. I like The pool, restaurant (Italian one). a bit small but cozy. 5. It’s connected to the metro just go to the first floor and you have easy access to to it. The hotel is also very vibrant with amazing customer service. Gam, and Joah in particular were very professional and hospitable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s a good five star hotel. Bathrooms are also very nice with both shower and bathtub. Good value for money. The amenities which include breakfast are really good. The variety is big. For breakfast you have an egg station, freshly baked bread and pastries, a Japanese station, and many more. Noise level is minimal in the hotel

Check-in was smooth and easy, and we were upgraded to a suite on the 44th floor—an amazing surprise with stunning panoramic views of Bangkok. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully presented, perfect for unwinding after a busy day in the city. We used the pools, which were lovely (though the water was a little on the cool side during our stay). Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and we also dined at the Italian restaurant, which was amazing—great food and service. The location was very convenient for getting around, making sightseeing and travel straightforward. Downsides? None. Our tip: book it—you won’t be disappointed. We’d happily return and highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, views, and first-class service.

Though it's a little far from old Bangkok (temples, Chinatown), it has direct access to airport link and is located close to the big shopping malls and Lumphini and Benjakiti parks. - L5021XDericl (10/5): Eastin Grand Phaythai - Fantastically Good! - There are many hotels in and around the popular tourists areas along Sukhumvit, but Eastin located Phyathai, at the end point of the Airport Rail Link is truly one of the best! Best in every sense - Best value, Best quality! The hotel is beautiful and well maintained with two separate pools on different floors (22nd, 37th), The rooms are comfortably large (unlike many of the new developments w/ very smallish rooms.) The staff are well trained and my daughter was flying in before us and my message to the Hotel staff was well received and understood so she could get into the room without making payment before i arrived. The check-in was a breeze, and especially Opal and her colleagues were very warm and welcoming yet speedy and very clear in explanations-- Opal arranged connecting rooms, and put the 3rd room as close as possible so family had rooms that were almost next to each. Really Great Staff !!! Wait till you see the Morning Breakfast Buffet, I have never seen any breakfast buffet in the world with so much variety and extensive offerings over at least a dozen stations with very comfortable seating - it was the entire hotel floor dedicated to this luxurious and sumptuous buffet, International, western, local Thai , japanese, chinese) and once again attentive and helpful staff- this is a major plus - so don't miss this breakfast experience that lasts till 11am! (most hotels here close at 10am) Everything works, wifi, multiple lifts serving every floor , cleanliness - many things you take for granted, its all here at Eastin Phayathai - and the very very critical BTS system has a stop right at the hotel like 2 mins walk from the elevated walkway. So getting to your favourite spots in Bangkok is so convenient to avoid the notorious jams in the tourist areas. Highly recommended!

I want to give a special thanks to staff members- Aomsin, Gee, Flim and especially Sora for taking care of me and my family from the beginning to our tip to its end. I cannot recommend this hotel and its staff enough. Entrance, receptionist and concierge staff were also amazing! What I would recommend is more variety with halal food, the staff were more than happy to cater to our needs but having more options in buffet/ menus would be nice. - 0_be_1 (10/5): Fantastic Stay - We booked a Premium Deluxe with Lounge Access and it was worth it every bit. The room was super spacious with a great view and plenty of space. Everything was kept impeccable. Pool area was wonderful with a view. Staff responded to everything quickly and professionally and over all was very welcoming and made our stay a pleasure. We would recommend to book the Lounge Access in addition to the room as it has it little perks and staff there make sure you can fully enjoy your stay. Hotel is right next to the airport link as well as the green line in Phaya Thai so getting to or from the airport is super easy as well as exploring the city by Metro.

Amazing new hotel. The only thing that needs improvement is the 2 very beautiful pools on the 22nd and 37th floors with cold water. It would have been better to have an indoor pool with a pleasant temperature. Easy to get to because of the adjacent train station that goes to the hotel from the airport

The reviews I read made it a no brainer and my experience was exactly what I expected. I cant rate this hotel highly enough. We booked the Executive Lounge access and from the moment we walked through the doors every single member of staff was amazing and we felt a million dollars!. That continued in every aspect of the hotel. The room on floor 31 was amazing and the staff were too. Also has immediate and easy access to the rail link directly to the BKK airport!

The staff attending to me told me it’s not avail without even checking. I was disappointed but I found an avail window seat on my own and moved over. A staff came by with another guest and asked me if I have shifted to the table near window, I said yes. She looked irritated and ignored me, continued bring her guest to another table. Is this the type of hospitality u want ur guest to experience? My mood was affected that day which could otherwise be a great end to my Bangkok trip😒

I never been a city break holiday type of person but this hotel and Bangkok has changed my opinion. This hotel gives you everything you are after for a perfect city break with comfort and luxury, an extra bonus with the great location. Myself and my husband booked a basic room but in the arrival we decided to upgrade to an executive room and it was the best decision. Having an executive room comes with a benefits such a complimentary use of the executive launch that offers food and drinks. The room itself was very spacious, luxurious with an amazing view. Their breakfast is unbelievable!!!! I mean I’m a chef and it blows my mind my mind, the selection just never ends. I found myself walking around in the morning and struggled to decide what to eat because I just wanted everything. We also had lunch at the hotel and it was the same quality, excellent fresh food. Staff members are just one of the humblest and polite people I came across throughout my travels. The hotel is located about 40 mins train ride from the airport and honestly is soooo easy (end cheap/ £2.50 for 2 people one way) to get to. The hotel location is fantastic, office buildings and loads more f massive shopping malls nearby, restaurants, rooftop hotels etc, We tried tuk tuk taxi and it was very cheap and fun ( i personally loved it) to get around the city/ about £6 for a single ride, We stayed only 3 nights but we could have done easily a week. We also had a half day trip booked through the hotel (luxurious transport and our own tour guy) to see the train marked and the floating market, it’s a must do if you visiting Bangkok. The hotel also offers spa, gym and two infinity pools one is on the 22nd floor and the other on the 38th floor. The views are breathtaking!!!! Would I go back to this hotel? Hell yeah!!! In a heartbeat!

It is a short walk, on a covered walk-way, and we were offered compensation for the cost of the transportation. Our room, on the 35th floor, offered incredible vistas of the city. We worked out in the gym and the equipment is modern, clean and functional. We ate breakfast at the 5th floor and it is worth every penny—be sure to include the breakfast package on your booking! What more can I say? This hotel should become a case-study for how to do customer service well. We left feeling as though we had been treated like royalty and we will plan to return. Thank you!

I originally planned to visit my usual favorite place, but after calling several hotels, I found that most were fully booked. While searching for alternatives, I came across the breakfast buffet at Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai. I’ve tried their Saturday dinner buffet before and found it quite good, so I decided to give the breakfast a try — and it turned out to be a pleasant experience. There are 13 food stations offering a wide variety of dishes, and overall, the quality is impressive. My favorite was the Japanese section — they use good-quality Japanese rice, and the chirashi-style rice bowl was delicious. The cheese and cold cuts were also excellent, especially the smoked salmon, which was moist and perfectly seasoned, not overly salty. The pork sausage was tasty, and both the Eggs Benedict and omelet were well made. The bakery section was also delightful — the croissant was excellent, and the cheddar cheese twist bread was particularly good. There’s even a pancake machine, which adds a bit of fun to the meal. Beverages were up to standard, with a good selection including infused water, tea, and coffee. Overall, at 750 THB per person, the price is reasonable for what you get. The restaurant is spacious, and the service is attentive and efficient. The staff member at our table (No. 33) was especially courteous and quick to clear plates — almost too quick! Despite the large number of guests, the team managed everything smoothly.

This has become my regular hotel in Bangkok – I’ve stayed here several times already, and every arrival feels like coming back home. The staff even remembers me each time and greets me with such a warm welcome, which is a wonderful feeling. The pool on the 22nd floor is one of my favorite places. After a busy day out, it’s great to relax there, and the sunset view over the city never gets old. The rooms are very comfortable and always in excellent condition, and the gym has everything I needed. It was never crowded when I went, which I appreciated. Breakfast was another highlight. I usually went down around 9 in the morning, and there was always a big variety to choose from – both Asian and Western. Everything I tried was fresh and tasty. I also enjoyed the meals I had at the hotel’s restaurants during my stay. A very special thank you to Ms. Eli, Ms. Jin, Nong Kaew, Nong Max, and Nong Nun, as well as many others whose kindness made my stay even better. I can honestly recommend Eastin Grand Phayathai to anyone visiting Bangkok. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

- 214allanc (10/5): Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service – Already Booked Our Next Visit! - We recently stayed at the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai and had a truly wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable, with a direct overhead bridge connection to Phayathai train station and easy access to all the major shopping centers like Siam and Central. We booked a 1-bedroom suite, which was spacious, well-appointed, and came with great amenities (though note there’s no bathtub if that’s important for you). The highlight of our stay, however, was the customer service at the Executive Lounge. From the moment we checked in, Fah warmly welcomed us, introduced us to the hotel facilities, and even escorted us to our room. She was incredibly friendly and professional, and we especially appreciated the way she engaged with our kids—offering them drinks and chatting with them. The food in the Executive Lounge was fantastic, particularly during happy hour, which was so generous it easily replaced dinner for us. On the day of our departure, we were once again looked after by Fah and also by Wit, with the manager, Praew, going above and beyond. Since our flight was late in the evening, she proactively offered us a late check-out and the option to continue using the Executive Lounge until we left for the airport at 6:30 pm—including enjoying happy hour again! This level of thoughtfulness and hospitality truly impressed us. Thanks to the outstanding service, comfort, and convenience, this is the only hotel where we actually booked our next visit before leaving. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.
- Norhayati (10/5): - Location was very convenient as it’s basically the last stop from the airport line. There’s a 7-11 nearby which makes it awesome for some last min snacks. My only prob was that the water pressure in the shower is not as strong as other properties I’ve been in.

The location is excellent—right next to the BTS with easy access to the airport line and other routes, making it very convenient to reach the airport and get around the city. You can even walk to the station without needing an umbrella when it’s raining. The property is generally in good condition. However, during my most recent stay, my room had a very strong, unpleasant odor, which was disappointing.

- JArisa0413 (10/5): Amazing All Around - My parents and I made regular visits to Thailand to see family while I was growing up, so I’m familiar with its culture of excellent service, but this was my first visit staying in hotel. I booked the 1-bdrm suite with lounge access, as it was a fantastic value relative to comparable hotels elsewhere, and it didn’t disappoint. From check-in (when I was personally greeted and led away to be checked in before I even reached the front desk!) to check-out, the whole stay was seamless. My room was beautiful and spotless, and the buffet breakfast—both in the lounge and Market 5 restaurant—was unreal (so much selection that 5 days wasn't enough to try everything!). My stay Included nightly Happy Hour in the lounge, and this alone was worth the price — another buffet! With cocktails! Direct access to the BTS “Phaya Thai” station from the hotel was the crowning feature. I’ll never stay anywhere else.

- LAI CHUN (10/5): - It was an amazing stay in this hotel, front desk and concierge staffs were very nice with excellent hospitality. I like the bright lighting in the room, very high ceiling, the washroom is big and new white tile floor felt like home. Just a bit disappointed to no bathtub in the standard room, which I brought over lots of bath salt to try to relax. We usually not to border for housekeeping during our stay, it is because we usually sanitize everything when we get to the room. This time we experienced the same problem after the housekeeping made up our room in one morning, we found hairs by the sink and floor which were not there before. I've seen before some hotel's housekeeper uses the used towel to clean the floor and around sink, which is really awful. I hope this hotel should monitor not to have this habit. Otherwise both pools are beautiful, we like to stay at 22nd floor pool, with lots of benches, and during 5-7pm they have happy hour for most of the drinks which is very good deal. Overall we like the hotel, convenient in location attached to BTS, will come back next time.

The staffs are friendly & helpful as usual. Their standard is well maintained. Their breakfast is amazing & it is one of the reasons I’ve come back for a third stay.

- ToneHolland (10/5): A wonderful experience of Thai hospitality. - We booked this hotel as our daughter was participating in a debate competion held in the city. We had booked an eight night stay. As it was late in the evening, we took a taxi to the hotel from the airport. Upon arrival, we proceeded to check in. At the front desk, it was not busy and Ms. Arm checked us in, assisted by Ms. Kind and Ms. Fraime. Ms. Arm immediately alerted the housekeeping for extra ameneties to be placed in the room as our daughter was staying with us. She even offered an extra bed set ip but we declined. She then walked us to the elevator and we proceeded to our room. The room was nice and spacious and had ll the necessary items. The bed was full size and very comfortable. they even provided rubber slippers for your comfort, I am guessing for showers and maybe trips to the 2 pools on floors 22 & 37. Our room included breakfast for three and that was a luxury, @The Market on the 5th floor is were breakfast is served. It was huge with food from all over. It's up to you to go which way you wanted. There were many coffee machines at different side to make it easy to get the coffee you like. I opted to go for the healthier options for our entire stay and felt like a 'detox' week.Health juices, salads, smoked salmon, cheeses fruits etc, Our special thanks to Ms. Art and the rest of the team there. hai hospitlity at it's best. The pool on the 22nd floor was nicer than 37th floor, but 37th probably better for laps and the view was better. We also tried the Trattoria @22, Mediteranian cusine. It was very nice. We were ther only there for aternoon sncks and we loved it. When the bill came they had discounted it by I think 20% as we were hotel guests, without even us mentioning it, The hotel is connected to the BTS station Phayathai. The passage from hotel to the station has convience store, cafes restaurants and shops. We especially enjoyed Turtle X and After you. Food hub, one floor above is a good place to dine, if you do not want to leave the building. The houskeeping was very good, if you needed someting, just ask, it will be there in minutes. Certain items like razors are not standard. Which is understandable as most people bring their own. I never requested, but I am sure, it would hve been deliverd, if I did. It's probably part of their sustainablity program. We would like to thank the manangement and staff for making our stay a pleasure. If we return to Bangkok, we will consider staying with you. - priscilla228 (8/5): Great location at this hotel - The location is fantastic with direct access to airport rail and BTS. The walkway is sheltered. The aircon in the room isn’t cold enough and the shampoo and bath gel do not match the hotel 5-star image.
