- AaronS825 (2/5): Good hotel, but Concierge-Arranged Experience Was Misrepresented - We stayed at Madi Paidi Bangkok, Autograph Collection in early December. While the hotel itself is stylish and generally pleasant, I’m leaving this review specifically to share feedback about a concierge-arranged service handled by the hotel, which significantly affected our stay. During our stay, we worked directly with the hotel concierge to arrange a private long-tail boat experience for three people as part of our Bangkok visit. This activity was recommended, described, and coordinated by the hotel concierge. We were explicitly told by the concierge that we could take the private boat “for as long as we want.” Based on that description, we reasonably expected a flexible 2–2.5 hour sunset and early evening river experience and agreed to proceed, trusting the hotel’s guidance. What actually happened: • We were repeatedly encouraged by the hotel to depart much earlier than planned. • Upon arrival at the pier, we were informed the ride would last only one hour, with a strict cutoff before sunset. • This limitation was never disclosed to us by the hotel concierge beforehand. • As a result, the sunset and evening river experience we had been promised did not occur. Had this information been communicated clearly by the concierge, we would have chosen a different option or declined the experience altogether. The issue here is not the external activity itself, but the lack of transparency and accuracy in how the hotel concierge presented and arranged the service. We raised this concern directly with hotel management and later through Marriott channels, but no resolution was offered. As a Marriott Bonvoy Lifetime Platinum Elite, this was disappointing. Concierge-arranged services are an area where guests rely heavily on the hotel’s knowledge and honesty, and in this case that trust was not upheld. I’m sharing this feedback so future guests can make informed decisions and so the hotel can improve clarity and communication around concierge-arranged activities.
- ericmZ6777OL (10/5): Front desk team was kind and attentive. - The team at Madi Paidi was wonderful. The hotel is well situated near at BTS stop as well great street food and shopping. The Autograph Collection never disappoints.
- 566bankb (10/5): Wonderful experience at Madi Paidi Bangkok - We cannot recommend Madi Paidi in Bangkok enough! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and professionalism. Our hotel room left us speechless with the personalized greetings from the hotel team, stunning views of the city outside the windows, and a sleek and modern bathroom with a large bathtub and rain shower head. The attached restaurant, Ekkaluck, is a beautiful dining experience for both breakfast and dinner. The two nights we spent there had different snacks that accompanied our cocktails. When we discovered that we had forgotten our phone in the car ride to the hotel, the team at the front desk jumped into action and reached out to the driver and ride share company immediately. Initial attempts proved fruitless but the team persisted and told us to rest assured that they would continue working on the matter until the phone was found. What could have been an unfortunate stain on our trip turned out to be a holiday miracle as the phone was found and returned to us the next day! Our deepest thanks to Primrose, Ju, Eim, Kevin, Naomi, Doris, Sunshine, Andrea, Peem, Art and the rest of the staff we did not mention. We will definitely be back.
- annd206 (10/5): Charming respite - A charming hotel with wonderful rooms, breakfast, gym and service. One of our all time favorites! The location is quiet and interesting but also removed from the central sites. For us it was the ideal respite from the intensity of the city; if you want to walk to the sites you may not have the perfect experience that we did. Can’t say enough about the staff and service!!

I've stayed in many hotels in the world, but Madi Paidi Bangkok was one of the best ones. All staff members are very friendly and professional. They always tried to go above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Ekkaluck restaurant at the hotel is exceptional. We absolutely loved their food, and most importantly, all the restaurant staff were nothing but fantastic. They were very attentive and made us feel welcome every day. Pang, Irina, and Tong, you guys were truly amazing and made our morning special every day. You guys created such a welcoming atmosphere at the restaurant. Mi, I still cannot forget about the mocktail you professionally crafted, the best tasting one I've ever had! On the way, she explained the meaning behind the hotel name—Madi meaning “a good/pleasant arrival,” literally “come good,” and Paidi meaning “go well / depart well / enjoy the journey,” like a warm “bon voyage.” She pointed out the décor, the design touches, and honestly made it feel like a full personal tour. The room was incredible, and the service from the staff—especially Ekkaluck—was next-level. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely on point the entire time. A+++ experience. Would absolutely stay again.

- Vsled (10/5): Excellent and caring staff - This boutique Marriott hotel is amazing, mostly because of the staff. Every single one of them are is friendly, welcoming and go above and beyond. The young women in the restaurant/bar are delightful. They are always smiling, asking how you’re doing and seem genuinely interested. We stayed for 5 nights (for husband’s business) and by the 2nd morning, they knew our names and things we liked. One morning, my latte had my name written in it. My mimosa was always just like I liked it. The food is very good. The hotel is in a great location, just off the main road and right near a BTS station. I was able to easily navigate the area while my husband was working. Our room was smaller than some we’ve stayed in, but very comfortable with a great tub. The rooftop pool & gym are nice. The restaurant is very good and the bar is small, but inviting. The kind of place you’d like to have a drink, chat with the bartender and enjoy the music. My only complaint is that the lighting in the bathroom isn’t great for putting on makeup. My husband has business here and we’ll definitely stay at Madi Paidi again.

Nothing is too much of an effort for them to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Regularly provide me with an upgrade due to my status with Marriott and as always, any upgrade is very much appreciated. The rooms are beautiful, well appointed, comfortable, showers are great, water pressure is good. Beds are super comfortable. Great little bar downstairs in the lobby, for an evening drink before you head out for dinner or a wonderful breakfast including sparkling wine to celebrate your Saturday or Sunday morning in Bangkok. Breakfast might not have a huge selection, but everything tastes really good. Each dish feels thoughtful and creative, adding a special touch to the meal.🍳 The gym is small but well-equipped and nicely organized, with water bottles neatly prepared for guests.💪 During both of my stays, the staff were amazing — very attentive and kind. Even on my second visit, when my BV status had changed, the front desk still treated me with the same warmth and care as before. (Sorry I can’t remember their names! )🥹🙏 If I had to mention one downside, it’s that the lobby, bar, and restaurant are quite small and located very close to each other, which can feel a bit tight sometimes. Despite the very short stay, I enjoyed the same warm welcome and attention towards details I’ve experienced on my first visit. While the perks received are most likely connected with my Bonvoy status, I have no difficulties in believing that every Guest that has stayed here and will book this place in the future will be welcomed with the same warmth and professionalism I experienced. The property is indeed very curated and I shall book it again, especially when looking to enjoy the Japanese food scene available in the area. - MarcPreston (10/5): Classy Boutique hotel with excellent service backed by Marriott - I moved from the Metropole Suites by Hilton (Tapestry Collection) to the Madi Paidi Bangkok – a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel just under 2km away – and the difference was night and day (see review). From the moment I arrived, the experience was flawless. Even at a distance, the doorman noticed me and rushed forward to assist with my luggage. Check-in was swift and professional. Although I arrived early at 9am (after hastily checking out of the previous hotel), and my room wasn’t ready, I was graciously offered a temporary room – which I declined as it wasn’t necessary. Instead, I was invited to enjoy one of the most sumptuous breakfasts I’ve had in a hotel. Despite being built on a compact footprint, the hotel is beautifully presented. The interiors are modern, tasteful, and thoughtfully designed. Every space feels intentional and well-executed. Service, as expected in Bangkok, was outstanding – but this property takes it a step further. The staff deliver a level of personalised attention that rivals much larger establishments. My room was well laid out, modern, and made excellent use of space. In short: a superb boutique hotel that offers the charm of a personalised stay backed by the quality and reliability of a major international brand. Highly recommended.

It’s different from the usual Marriott properties and this property gives you some sort of home away from home vibes as it is sort of a boutique hotel and feels homey. The breakfast is divided into Ala carte ordering from the menu and semi buffet style. One of the best breakfast I have ever had in a Marriott property as the Ala carte menu quality is superb. For elite members who have lounge access it is a little different here as they do not have a dedicated lounge but the breakfast place doubles up as the lounge. Once again if you are up for something different from the usual run of the mills Marriott properties this is one that is worth looking into

- Verified traveler (10/5): Practically perfect in every way - Brace yourself. This is going to be a glowing review, the best I've ever left for a hotel. I have been traveling in Asia for over 30 years and have stayed in all the greats, old and new. But nothing compares to the experience at Madi Paidi, and I don't plan to stay anywhere else in Bangkok in the future - it's that good. The property is new and beautifully designed with exceptional attention to detail in both the rooms and common areas. But what really stands out is the service. Every single member of staff was exceptional, from the front desk to housekeeping to those serving in Ekkaluck, the hotel restaurant. Their attitude, knowledge, friendliness and willingness to go out of the way for every customer exceeded the best I have seen at five-star properties anywhere in the world. They also accommodated our unusual dietary preferences, the chef making special meals for the vegan and gluten-free members of our group. The location is also excellent - a few minutes’ easy walk to Thong Lo station with plenty of nearby eateries and attractions and only a few stops on the BTS from major malls in both directions. If you are considering Madi Paidi, don't hesitate. I was delighted and you will be, too.

Slightly out of the hustle & bustle of the touristy areas but that suited us just fine. We were surrounded by great local food, spoilt for choice. And BTS was only a short 3 minute walk, and this kept us very connected to all the places on our itinerary. Staff were wonderful, and special mention to Doris as she answered all my questions and gave us some great recommendations. Also loved the rooftop pool which we were lucky enough to have to ourselves each day. So much attention to detail and the finer things truly makes for an incredible stay. - kidman (10/5): Great 1st time Experience - Great first time experience. As always in Thailand, great hospitality and nice staffs. It is walking distance to Thonglor BTS but be prepared that it is not near any shopping mall. They served ala carte buffet and it’s nice. Dinner menu looks good but I didn try. Nolounge but you can will use their restaurant as the “bar” for your lounge access. Because of this, I would think of this hotel very suited for holidays and casual and less so of Business (personal opinion). Room is great, no fault. They have a gym and pool at the top floor but it is a small pool. There are a couple of nice eateries, famous mango sticky rice Mae Varee round the corner. Near to many Japanese and Korean eateries too.

Accessible to other parts of Thonglor within walking distance. I will come back again on my solo trips.

From the moment we checked in, the service was warm, personal, and thoughtful. A special shoutout to Naomi, who not only helped us with a lovely room upgrade, but also provided incredibly helpful tips for getting around Bangkok — from transportation options to sightseeing advice, she truly made our trip smoother and more enjoyable. We were also touched by the beautiful anniversary surprise arranged in our room. The charming decorations and the little celebratory cake were such a sweet gesture — it made the occasion feel extra special and memorable. Another highlight was the complimentary drinks provided by the hotel — they were unique, refreshing, and added a very distinctive touch to the overall guest experience. You can really feel the hotel’s personality in all the little details. Our only regret is that we overslept and sadly missed breakfast… we had heard amazing things about it, so we’ll definitely be back to try it next time! - JCLY1965 (10/5): An amazing stay! - Long overdue review. My sister and I stayed at this amazing property several months back. The welcome we got was so personalised. Everyone was above friendly and intentional in making our stay a memorable one. From front desk to housekeeping to breakfast, everyone was welcoming and hospitable. A shout out to the hotel manager who greeted us on arrival to the front desk agent who brought us to our room. Sorry but as some time has passed I cannot recall specific names. Highly recommend to travellers who are looking for an amazing property to call home. Thank you! Hope to stay with you again!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive—special thanks to Tong, Doris, and Art for taking such great care of me and all the guests. They even greeted me by name, a small detail that reflects excellent management and a thoughtfully coordinated guest experience. This boutique hotel is in immaculate condition, with a stunning design and beautifully appointed rooms. The furniture and amenities are of top quality, and the attention to detail is impressive. Even the welcome gift, a charming keychain and a handmade bird crafted from coconut leaves, went above and beyond my expectations. I’ll definitely be returning. This will be my number one hotel choice in Bangkok moving forward.
- kevinl741 (10/5): Excellent boutique hotel in Bankok - We really enjoy our stay here, everything is great, the rooms, the design, the a la carte breakfast with prosecco. we spend a whole afternoon relaxing in the pool, as a marriot titanium member, the hotel provide 3 complimentary alcohol drinks and unlimited softdrink. Especially thank to the whole team, your are doing a great job to make us feel comfortable and home. A huge highlight was Tong from Ekkaluck, the hotel’s dining spot, whose bubbly personality and infectious enthusiasm are simply delightful. Breakfast at Ekkaluck was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. - Travel270416 (10/5): Boutique delight in Sukhumvit - This is a small boutique hotel that is part of Marriott, located minutes from BTS. Interesting and quirky, with some nice touches. Loved the personalized feel (it was also off season). Lovely swimming pool on the 9th floor you can have to yourself if you time it right. Doris in reception and Tan in dining were exceptional, but all staff were friendly and very kind. Khap Khun! Great service. Dining needs to take a cue from reasonable serving sizes in Bangkok carts - the amount of rice served with entrees is extraordinary! Naan and rice with a huge bowl of green curry ☹️ Loved the design and concept. Overall a wonderful experience that I would recommend.

- lawence (10/5): A hidden gem in Thong Lo - This is a very new boutique hotel right next to Thong Lo BTS station. It’s a hidden gem! The decor is modern and cosy. Amenities are top tier for Marriott hotels. The best thing about the hotel was probably the staff. They were very kind, passionate and helpful. I had a great stay over two nights. Thank you!

It is located in such an convenient location with walking distance to the BTS station; from where we can travel to the heart of Bangkok. Madi Paidi is a small boutique hotel but very compact with all necessary and handy facilities. Rooms are big and clean. Most importantly; they have a wonderful and amazing team of staff; very helpful and attentive to all our needs. I will certainly recommend them to our friends who are visiting Bangkok and of course, myself to come back again.

I am totally satisfied with everything I have received from this hotel including the environment, facilities, food and beverages, hospitality and services. It is a small hotel but unique and compact; have everything that I want. Staff are superb making me feel like home. I would recommend them to anyone who is going to stay in Bangkok and looking for a decent hotel. I shall defintiely return to stay there for another vacation in Bangkok.

Shout-out to Ms Pang, Mr Art, Mr Peem, Ms Khaimuk, and the office manager Ms Juu & all the front office staff!! Ms Pang remember my preference for coffee every breakfast... Really.. I m speechless and I am very impressed with the Autograph collection. Definitely the coolest hotel for sure. Location: 3 min walk to Thong Lo BTS, a lot of high end restaurant around the area GAA is just around the corner. - Shlomi Shlomo (6/5): - Nice hotel, but value for money is not great… Rooms are very nice, but not so big, still acceptable. Breakfast service is inconsistent. I arrived at the dining room at 8:42. The salmon and cold cuts trays were already empty. I waited until 9:15 no one replaced or filled the gaps. Of course, they see that the trays are empty. I think they were trying to save money… Only when I told them, which is half an hour that all trays are empty, they did bring new ones. I ordered watermelon juice in the evening. I have got half a glass and almost all ice. There was no taste for watermelon, and I also saw how they made it with leftover watermelon that they had in the fridge. Of course, I complained, and then another employee made new juice properly. Most of the staff are very nice and friendly. however, I think the service needs to be more consistent. The menu in the restaurant is not varied enough, in my opinion, especially the room service menu; not even a club sandwich, which is very basic in hotels. Prices are very high, for what you get. Ordered caffe latte; it came in a not so big cup, something between warm and cold. It supposed to be hot. It is a basic thing to warm the cup with boiling water, before you pore the coffee into the cup. Almost $6 for a no frills coffee, that comes in a small cup, no plate, no small cookie or a piece of chocolate, like in most hotels… For the price paid, I was expecting a bit more…
