- 118rachelc (8/5): Excellent hotel - Hotel is beautiful, old building which makes a change from the modern skyscrapers in Bangkok. Clean hotel, comfy bed, the staff are amazing, everyone including the security guards, so helpful. We got an upgrade as the balcony was tiny so they moved us straight away so thank you for this. Breakfast is adequate. Didn't use the pools but the grounds were lovely with koi carp pools. I knocked a point off because the area wasn't for us, the hotel is opposite abandoned buildings and definitely the area needs a lot of TLC which is a shame as the hotel cannot be faulted, also koh san road maybe suited to the younger generation as it's wild. I'm not as wild now as i was.

- Martita (10/5): Great staff and solid location - All of the staff that worked at the hotel were lovely. Everyone who worked there was friendly and always kind and helpful and a pleasure to speak with. It's also a very smart place to stay because you are very near much of the sightseeing! You could walk to several close destinations as well for your needs such as 7-Eleven and places to eat. The breakfast was great! They had such a great selection and it was a wonderful. I only would call out that the beds are very hard. Some people love hard bed so if you like a hard bed this is the place for you. The bed was a little too hard for me, so I found it somewhat uncomfortable to sleep. Other than that it's a well located hotel with solid accommodations and a great staff!

Service was definitely the highlight, they open your car doors for you and carry your bags, never experienced service on this level. Hotel is in a great location, about a 20-minute walk (or short drive) from the major templates. We had a very late check in and late check out which they were able to accommodate with no issues. Breakfast spread is great as well. This was our first stay in Bangkok and the staff was helpful with sightseeing options too. Can't say enough great things about this hotel!

- rogierk642 (10/5): Good place to stay to discover Bangkok - Excellent hotel at good location if you dont mind a bit of walking, which you will do in Bangkok anyway. Very clean. Friendly staff. Pool is refreshing and clean. Breakfast good. Many of the main sights within 30 minutes walking distance. Canal boat pier at just 5 minutes walk. Nearest metro is at 20 minutes walk.

- sherfx (10/5): Lovely little hotel - This hotel has really lovely, helpful staff. It is really well-kept and clean. The breakfast has various options and even though we did not have time to use it, the pool area looks lovely as well. The hotel, although it is found in a central area, it's really quiet.
- 76JoP (8/5): Little Gem - This is a lovely boutique hotel. Breakfast is available in the restaurant but no dinner is available. There is a fridge in the reception area to get cold drinks and beer. There is no bar option. Several restaurants are a short walk from the hotel including McDonald's. It's around a 20 minute walk to the waterfront and Grand Palace. The rooms are lovely. Beds are very comfortable and the pool area is a delight. The staff are very friendly. This hotel is definitely worth a look

- GlobalNavigator69 (10/5): Great price, great location. - We stayed here one night as our ship was docked for 2 days. So glad we did! The room was spacious, had modern amenities and a nice shower (so important in hot Bangkok). While we didn't use it, the pool looked very nice. The location is just one short block off the main road next to Democracy square; a bit of a challenge for a non local taxi, but easy once you look on the map. It is close enough yet far enough from the night market. A cheap taxi or tuk tuk (more expensive!) ride down to the palace and Wats. Keep in mind that Thai hotels must take a copy of your passport. Our cruise ship kept ours and it's a good thing we had photocopies. Breakfast was nice, albeit a little weird (Spaghetti? Spinach au gratin? But also western fare). Great price for such a nice hotel.
