The bed and pillows weren’t comfortable, water leaked out during showers, and the sink was too small. The selection of shampoo and body wash was limited and not enough.

• Christopher (10/5): - This place went above and beyond my expectations. The staff is incredible. They have coffee and breakfast in the morning and even called a car very early in the am for the airport and somoene was at the desk and provided a "to go" breakfast. It was truly something special. The staff is really great they even offered suggestions for shopping and food. The rooms are nice, especially for Florence where you can get an unsuspecting mix due to the old properties and the location is right in the middle of everything so can easily walk to the Duomo or all the historical sites. I 100% reccomend this hotel. Only thing to note is that the bath tub in my room was quite tall and someone on the shorter stature or with disabilities would have trouble getting in and out. Not sure if this was just my room or not, but definitely ask the staff in advance if concerned. Otherwise, 10/10 and will absolutely go back next time I am in florence.

Walking distance to all central sights. No parking opportunities, but that’s simply a fact in any old town.

All my wife and did was walk around and we enjoyed every moment. Staff and concierge were extremely helpful and accommodating - it was perhaps the best part of the hotel. They never said no. There was someone at the front desk ready to greet me, which was such a relief after a long day of travel. To top it off, they offered me complimentary champagne at check-in—a wonderful touch that made me feel welcome right away! The staff also arranged a late checkout for me, which was incredibly helpful and allowed me to enjoy my stay without feeling rushed. Overall, the service was outstanding, and the little extras really made a difference. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back! Location is perfect as well!

This hotel which we booked on a last minute decision to visit florence, has gave us the best experience of the all. The beds were the most comfortable we've had in a hotel ever, the room was spacious and really well designed, the shower was great and had great water pressure. The staff were the super nice and helpful and the breakfast was great! The location is also great. We won't choose any other hotel in Florence ever again. This is an absolute jem.
• Mojgan (10/5): - Glimpse Hotel is in an excellent location—walking distance to all the main sights, making it ideal for first-time visitors. The central setting does mean it can be noisy, but that’s expected in such a vibrant area. The service was outstanding—staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with great variety and quality. A few drawbacks to note: the mattress wasn’t very comfortable, the shower is inside a high bathtub which can be difficult to get in and out, and there’s no real lobby area to relax. Overall, a great base for exploring Florence.
• Nathan (10/5): Exceptional - This was our favourite stay during a 3 week trip to Europe. It was deffinately one of the more expensive places we stayed but from the second you arrive its obvious why. You are welcomed by all of the staff who make sure you are comfortable and are extremely quick to take care of your check in and offer you welcome drinks. We were given a very detailed explanation of everything to expect in Florence which was a nice touch. The rooms are immaculate and a decent size with good bathrooms and shower. We looked forward to breakfast every morning where the staff were waiting to take your order and kept the espressos coming. The location is perfect, the second you step outside the lobby you can see the duomo. Reception had someone waiting to help you out no matter what time of the day or night. Was deffinately sad leaving glimpse hotel as it felt like a little family getting to know all the friendly staff.

Ovidio was just amazing, he welcomed us, showed us everything we needed to know about Florence on the map, got us reservations for a guided tour of the Acadamia, made dinner reservations, and was so very helpful. At breakfast, Yulia was so nice and friendly. All the staff were helpful, but these two were just exceptional!! The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable, updated, walkable to most everything in Florence, and not on an overly crowded street. We would definatley recommend and hope to return.
• Tim (8/5): Highly recommended but be aware of the sounds from the rooms above - The Glimpse Hotel is in an excellent location - we could walk everywhere from it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good and a special thanks to Yulia who remembered our orders and had a great sense of humour. While staying, it was my wife's birthday. The hotel left a bottle of fizz in the room in an ice bucket with two glasses. We really appreciated this touch. Thanks to the Receptionist for this (sorry, we didn't get her name). The one thing that let the hotel down is the lack of noise insulation between the floors. I think different people were immediately above us on different nights, I don't think they were particularly noisy, but conversations, the TV and footsteps could all be heard - the worst was if something hard was on the floor, it was really loud (we can only guess that a bag was being moved about). This happened on different nights at 00:30 and 4am - once we wake, we can't get back to sleep. Sound insulation from the rooms on the same floor, the street outside and the lift was all very good. It's a shame because everything else was spot-on. By the way, we didn't report it to the staff because we weren't sure what they could have done. We didn't want to move rooms because our belongings were hanging etc.

Fashionable and unique with beautiful artwork adoring the walls.. The staff were attentive and kind and made the whole experience feel special from beginning to end. The breakfast was delicious, the coffee excellent, the bed divine and the shower huge. That I only booked 2 nights. I wish I had stayed a month!

Water was served beside coffee even for guests that did not order anything. Rest rooms were super clean. Next time in Florence we will stay in this hotel. Fully recommended!

I could not have asked for a better location. The hotel was just a few minutes from the Duomo and everything else was within walking distance. Also the free breakfast was amazing!

• Noemi (9/5): Perfect Hotel for central Florence - Hotel is in great location, right by the Duomo cathedral. The staff was super helpful, a shout out to Ovidio who spent time going through a map of the city and giving us recommendations on where to go, eat and drink. The room was lovely and had everything you need. Loved the art around the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the check out great as they let us keep our luggage while we explored the city before we left. The car valet service is 100% needed if you are driving. On the day we arrived, there was road works right by the hotel which made it really stressful to get there as Florence city centre is a nightmare to drive through and our GPS had no idea what was going on! It might be easier to have a car valet a bit outside Florence where you can leave the car and then have someone drive you up the hotel instead.

The location is at a corner of a bustling street but very few cars. Very small and cosy and only 3 rooms at each floor. Florence is a very loud city due to the cobble stone streets. I could not have a open window at night because of the noise.

• Damla (9/5): Exceptional staff, modern and comfortable rooms - I recently stayed at the Glimpse Hotel in Florence and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The Superior King Room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The bathtub provided a relaxing retreat in the evenings. The staff at both the reception and the bar were incredibly nice and helpful, which I believe is the hotel’s standout feature. I would like to extend special thanks to Alina and Carlos for their kindness and support during my stay. Despite a minor incident on the first night that affected my rest, the staff’s attentiveness ensured my three-day stay was pleasant. The reception area, though small, is cozy and serves as a nice spot to enjoy a drink before heading out or upon returning. The hotel’s location is exceptional—close to major attractions and within walking distance of nearly anywhere in town. Additionally, there’s a nearby pharmacy and a convenient laundry service store, which I used and found preferable compared to the hotel’s offered rates. The pre-set breakfast options were fine and sufficient for me; however, I believe a small yet high-quality buffet could be more preferable. The bakery products are incredible, compliments to the pastry chef! It was a pleasant stay and I loved Florence. I definitely would love to visit Glimpse again. An area for improvement is definitely the soundproofing of the rooms and windows. During my January stay, the streets were mostly empty at night, yet occasional noises like, shouting passersby, or a car alarm at 5 AM (as well as loud neighbours at the hotel) were quite audible. I had to use earplugs.

The staff was extremely nice: professional, courteous and understanding. I had a light, delicious dinner (there’s only a bar, but it was perfect for me — I had travelled from far and it was pouring rain, I just wanted to grab a bite to eat and go to bed.). Breakfast was delicious too! Nothing really.

The location is superb: 5 minutes from Duomo, 2 minutes from Accademia Gallery. And since the old town is compact, you are literally near almost everything. I liked the size of the room and the room itself looked super nice, everything was super clean. Breakfast was great. Small terrace outdoor with glimpse of Duomo. Tiny comment USB and USBc sockets in the room would be really really handy :)

The cafe in the lobby area is a beautiful and tasty place for a break between sites. However, the best aspect by far are the staff - I have NEVER met hotel staff this genuinely friendly, thoughtful, and going above and beyond the way that Mario, Alina, and Yuliia do. I've stayed at 5 star hotels that can't compete with this team.

• Matthew (10/5): - Beautiful stay for a night in Florence. Rooms were larger than you would expect and we had a queen size bed. Well equipped and the front desk was very helpful in getting us places to go. We left AirPods behind and they called us and arranged for us to get them back. Great service!
• Kirsty (10/5): Gorgeous hotel in the perfect location - Such a fabulous hotel in the perfect location, just 5 minutes from the Duomo. Beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were really lovely too - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic - loads of food and lovely setting.

• Danielle (10/5): The ONLY hotel in Florence!!! ❤️ - AMAZING!!! It’s a small boutique hotel with unbelievable staff that go above and beyond to make sure you have a perfect stay. This is the only hotel for me in Florence and the BEST minestrone soup is across the street.

• 926sophiac (10/5): Ideal coffee break - We came here twice for a coffee break during our sightseeing and we loved it. Their coffee is great, and the chocolate&blueberries cake is delicious - warning, the slices are very generous, no complaints with that ;) Staff friendly and well prepared.
• Judith Elyse White (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Glimpse Hotel. The service and staff were exceptional.
• Anniel (7/5): Overrated and too pricey. Breakfast is the highlight of the stay and Mario and Julia are great - Location is great but parking is super expensive $35 euros per day and you must be back every night before 11pm to park in the garage or get towed The rooms are super hot. Temperature is control by the city and even though temperature outside was 70 degrees Fahrenheit the heater was on all day. We had to ask for a fan. Also employees smoke inside and reeks of cigarettes in the hallways and breakfast area

• RENATA (10/5): Precioso hotel boutique - Increíble este pequeño hotel boutique galería. Tiene cuadros de artistas locales en cada piso. Solo 9 habitaciones con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días perfectos en florencia. Está a 4 cuadras del Duomo y de todas las atracciones importantes. Muy bien sonorizado pero la joya de este hotel es su personal. Los dos gerentes increíbles personas, nos brindaron todas las comodidades y nos ayudaron a encontrar un buen tour. Gracias Mario por tus atenciones.
• deborahb868 (10/5): An excellent stay, highly recommend - Our stay at the Glimpse Hotel was excellent from start to finish. It is situated on a side street with the Doumo in view and couldn’t have been a better location. We were given a warm greeting by Alina who offered a welcome drink and provided a map with must sees. Arriving in the evening Alina provided a recommendation for a nearby restaurant, Rossocrudo, which we loved. Great food, wine and service. Nothing was too much trouble at The Glimpse, booking taxis that were on time and providing details of trips we could book in advance of our visit. The breakfasts were very good offering options from several menus, the fresh pastries a real treat. Alina and the rest of the team were so friendly and made our stay special. Extra mention to those who serviced our room, it was so lovely to come back to each day. Well done to The Glimpse, we would not hesitate to book again. If you are thinking about booking, just do it.
