- Enrique (10/5): - Place was excellent, only major factor, I like to unload all my clothing and I had my clean cloth delivered here. I placed it in the closet underneath the Ac unit. Or soaked all my clean from the laundry corn and sheets and dressed shirts. I spread some sheets around and continued my vacations. At check out no body wanted to hear it. Even though that was the main. Reason why we took a little Longer to pick up, separate and pack. I even left the living and bathroom clean of any trash: supervisor came but he did not understand me or didn’t care. I tried talking in Spanish and he just dismissed me. So that was unnecessarily rude. Otherwise it was a good stay.

- Marcio (10/5): - Flawless checking in and out, no wait, no dramas, quiet and clean. Hernan was very professional and friendly, accommodating a late check out and skipping a pest control inspection in my unit, as requested. Good WiFi, AC, TV, parking, kitchen appliances, etc, everything worked!

- Robert (7/5): As expected with a small checkin hiccup - The location was quiet, it was located next to a cute cafe and grocery store exactly as I had planned it. I enjoyed the stay, the unit was small and minimalistic but exactly as advertised. The checkin process is as quite difficult. The emails I was sent contained two numbers, but I received texts from other numbers I did not know. The property asked me for my ID via email even though I already uploaded it to the portal. I understand that their tech stack they use behind the scenes is causing this and I am not mad at all. But they should tighten this up.

It was really noisy and all outdated, First night in, I raised my concerns about the big party next door and they created an incident. They offered to reimburse their commission to me as a compensation but therefore they had to do it through a zelle account. I kept explaining them that I do not have a Zelle account living in Canada and such, use another method I said, but in the end nothing came out of it. In my opinion, it was a waste of my valuable time during my vacation.

- Nikita (8/5): This is what you are looking for. - This place really comfortable for two people, who wants to cook a little, have a nice AC, TV with youtube, and be close to all nice places around. Bed was comfy with clean sheets. Parking always have a spot. Nice and clean place. I don’t like slow cooktop, there is no mirror, only small one in bath. Also there is no place for luggage or place to seat. I’d like to add bench next to side wall and mirror near the exit door.

- Anonymous (7/5): El Portal apartment close to airport - I had a fine stay at El Portal apartments. The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of kitchen and bathroom amenities. The outdoor space was very relaxing and had a lot of seating space. The location is convenient to the airport and northern Miami. I felt secure here because the rooms are self check-in with a key code, plus the front of the building is surveilled. One minor improvement would be to install a rod or some shelves for closet space. Unfortunately there wasn’t a proper place to store clothes aside from the empty space under the A/C. Laundry is coin-operated, so make sure to bring change if you plan to use it. The property replaced the A/C during my reservation and it took much longer than I expected. I wish they had arranged to do updates either before or after my stay, especially since the replaced A/C wasn’t significantly better anyways.
