Sabry (5/5): Déçu. - L'emplacement. Entre le centre et les plages. A 15 mn quand même Je suis décu. Le logement est au 3° étage. Il n'y presque pas de vue. Le wifi n'était pas toujours en fonction. Les équipements de la cuisine presque absents. La personne qui accueille ou qui fait office de sécurité est très peu aimable et peu serviable.

Sasha (2/5): Kept up all night by staff doing laundry until 1am - It was clean There were howling dogs all night, someone on the staff was doing laundry until 1am in the room next to us with a light with no curtain shining directly into our room. After we addressed this we were told there was nothing they could do about the fact that they kept us up until 1am shining a light into the room. The location wasn’t particularly close to much you could walk to the plaza of americas but everything else was a drive. Pool was also a bit unclean and looked nothing like the pictures which must have been filtered or when the pool was cleaner.
Lisa (6/5): Pleasant, basic, clean stay. Must obtain travel voucher from this host regarding airport travel. - The location was very good, within the Centro district and walkable to the local area. The room was clean. The overall property was tidy and felt very clean. Traveling to this location was the very worst experience I have ever had. I was expected to obtain a travel voucher but had no awareness I was supposed to do this; nothing on Booking.com prompted this. The airport staff was helpful but made assumptions that I had a voucher. I couldn't go back to the help desk once we exited. They warned me about the local taxi services but in the end we had to hire one and pay an outrageous price because it was late at night and we were poorly informed as described above. The actual location was extremely difficult to find on the map and even difficult for our taxi driver. I think this was all because the local guest house group has multiple locations. We got lost carrying groceries back to the Guest House, found the one on our GPS map but the woman at the desk spoke no English. The trip improved after the above very difficult experiences arriving in downtown Cancun. The room itself was spare, had no blankets and very little kitchen equipment.

Garance (3/5): - Quartier résidentielle plutôt sympathique mais loin de tout. Chambre propre. Climatisation fonctionnelle Personnel très gentil Pas de fenêtre sur l extérieur cependant. Une fenêtre sur le couloir qui nous fait entendre tous les bruits e l’hôtel. Ce n’est pas de leur ressort mais coupure de courant à partir de 5heures de matin avec réactivation toutes les 30 secondes ce qui allumait la climatisation et la télé toutes les 30 sec en faisant un « BIP » qui empêchait toute possibilité de dormir mais avec des boule quies. Et ce jusqu’à 10h du matin. Et par ailleurs, en conséquence, absence de WIFI (et de lumière évidemment). De plus, l’alarme téléphone du gardien s’est allumé à 5h du matin ce qui ne l’a pas réveillé. 20 min après je suis descendue réveiller le gardien pour éteindre son alarme. Je comprends parfaitement que ceci n’est pas de leur ressort mais ils ne m’ont pas proposé de geste commercial en retour (mise à par me proposer de rester dans la chambre jusqu à 12h15 plutôt que 11h prévu initialement) pour me « reposer ».

Via booking wel in contact gekomen, maar na een uur chatten zeiden ze dat ze me niet konden helpen (ondanks boeking en bevestiging) en dat ik andere slaapplek moest zoeken. Midden in nacht. Ongelooflijk slechte service!

Blanca (10/5): - Absolutely loved my stay here – it truly felt like a home. The property is spotless, peaceful, and incredibly well-maintained. The staff were not only kind and accommodating but went above and beyond to assist me—especially with directions and anything else I needed during my stay. The facility itself is beautiful, with everything working perfectly—TV, air conditioning, and all other amenities. It's clear that a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining this place. The response time from staff was also impressively fast anytime I had a question or request. One of the things I appreciated most was the quiet and serene atmosphere. It made it so easy to relax and enjoy every moment. I genuinely loved being here and would return. Traveler tips: You’ll need to walk a bit to reach shops and restaurants, so if you're not used to the heat, or walking, I recommend going out early in the morning or late in the afternoon. There’s a convenient OXXO just around the corner for quick snacks and essentials. Do keep in mind that while the place itself is mosquito-free, the city does have quite a few, so bring repellent if you're planning to explore the area.

Tienen una muy buena ubicación y el costo es razonable. Talvez sería bueno revisar la calidad de los colchones, creo que se podría mejorar la calidad de sueño si lo hacen.

Brianna (10/5): - This was my very first time visiting Cancun. Everyone that works here is so friendly. I had arrived at 10 or 11 am - Check in wasn't available until 3 pm but they were able to let me into my room earlier which was so awesome. The room and bathroom are huge and very clean. I had hot water for showers everyday. The balcony was beautiful. I loved to sit out and drink my coffee each morning while the sun rose. This really is an amazing stay. I did not receive a code for the front door, only the front gate. So I had to have the security guard or the housekeeper let me in each day. The security guard was super nice, he had no problem letting me in each day - sometimes multiple times a day. I did try an reach out to the owner or person through WhatsApp, Multiple times, to recieve my code to the front door but never received a reply or code for the front door. It is within walking distance of a couple of convenience stores. They also have complementary coffee in the kitchen. I did not get a chance to use the pool, as I was having dental work done the whole time but it looked very clean and clear. The kitchen and dining room are beautifully decorated. Very welcoming. The Vica Guest house will be where I stay when visiting Cancún in the future. They are all very nice and welcoming.

El personal de recepción no se encontraba en ese momento por lo que la llave de la habitación me fue entregada a más de 30 minutos de haber ingresado de manera automatizada a la propiedad. La persona encargada, con la cual me comuniqué vía telefónica, se enfocó en el problema logrando solucionarlo a través de una tercera persona. Se pudiese evitar ese contratiempo igualmente automatizando la entrada a la habitación. Por lo que respecta a la propiedad, volvería a hospedarme allí. Al contrario, por los fallos en la atención al cliente no lo haria

C (7/5): Good - The code was not working to let me in and I had to wait outside for an hr. No one would respond to my messages and with my battery on 1% I was finally able to call a third number and someone picked up and helped me. With such slow response during an emergency I would not use these accommodations again. Beyond that, it wasn’t a bad place.
Karmina (10/5): - We had a very pleasant stay at Vica GH. The home is beautiful and well-maintained, and we truly enjoyed our time there. Just a note for future guests: this is not a hotel, so there is no daily room cleaning unless you request it. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely stay again!

Maartje (7/5): Fine - It was a nice and clean room. The pool was lovely. Location was not that good, far from The center and not really nice restaurants nearby. The man who greeted us was a bit weird, not very helpful and awkward. We actually had 2 reservations 2 different nights. The one they cancelled very shortly before we arrived due to maintenance issues which was a bit weird to us. However a few days later we did stay here and overall it was nice!
Vadym (8/5): Very good - Location. Feeler secured . It has gates, outer door and door to the room. Plus during night there’s someone on the watch. Good furniture. Guests kitchen area could have more of items. Like basic utensils and paper towels. Perhaps use bleach to wash bed linen there were stains.

Gabrielle (8/5): - Very beautiful kind of spanish inspired property (wood, stone, ceramic) located just a little outside Cancun Centro, in a very quiet street. The Room and the house are very well kept, super clean. Beatiful kitchen and common Areas. I found it difficult to get the arrival instructions, since they were sent to me the day of my arrival, at 3 in the afternoon. The passwords to open the gate and the front door were sent on an application that i am not familiar with, Octorate, so i actually never got them. Fortunately, even if we arrived very late (11pm), the security guard openned the door for us and gave us the codes. Staff was super nice. In my Room, the only thing i can say is that the shower was leaking so we had to take our towels to wipe the Floor. Overall 9/10! I recommand!
MISS S (8/5): Great value, clean and good location.m - The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The AC worked well. The bathroom was big, but like other reviewers mentioned, the shower wasn’t warm. It didn’t bother me too much so I didn’t mention it. The pool was refreshing and for the most part only used by me on my two days. The staff were lovely, friendly and patient with my limited Espanol. The only drawback was they didn’t send me the email with the entry code for their ‘digital reception’ which really stressed me out. The day before and day I was flying out, I’d asked for it by contacting them through hotels.com and on their WhatsApp number and didn’t get a reply. The app they suggested downloading wasn’t straight forward and requested sign in details with no registration option, so that didn’t work. It was to be my first accommodation in my Mexico trip and I wouldn’t/didn’t have a sim card/data when i arrived to try and figure things out or contact them once I’d arrived. Thankfully, the ‘digital reception’ was accompanied by a helpful security guard who helped me, but he wasn’t 24/7, so they really need to get better at sending that info out prior to arrival. Location was good for me. 10 mins walk to the big mall and easy access via uber to everywhere else like the ADO and supermarkets.

Rick (10/5): Absolutely great. - A very safe area. Walking distance to catch a bus for 12 pesos to the hotel zone. Very nice room. Everything worked as it was supposed to. Having the air turned on prior to arrival. Everything else was great.

Nsamba (8/5): Not perfect but didn’t hate it. - It was worth the price and I liked the showers. Did not like that the stairs were so narrow and there was no elevator. It is very inconvenient for disabled people and people with heavy luggage. Also didn’t like that the guest house lobby didn’t have air conditioning. They only have ac in the rooms so you’ll be hot doing things out front and cooking in the kitchen.
