- Bằng Linh (10/5): I’m genuinely grateful for how accommodating and supportive they were, especially with helping us with luggage and trans - This place feels more like an Airbnb-style stay rather than a traditional hotel, but honestly everything was almost perfect for my 2-night stay. The room was extremely clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need: dishes and utensils, a washer and dryer, iron, hairdryer, and even a full-size refrigerator, which made the stay so comfortable and convenient. What impressed me the most was the hospitality and support from the staff. Even though this is a contactless service with no front desk on-site, communication was always smooth, fast, and incredibly detailed. Every question I had was answered kindly and patiently, and they truly made me feel cared for throughout the entire stay. One thing I notice is that the surrounding area can feel a little intimidating late at night, so I personally wouldn’t recommend walking around too late alone. However, aside from that, my overall experience staying here was still wonderful.

We felt very safe at the property since there were two steps for each entry. The beds were comfortable and there were several different pillow firmnesses to choose from. The room had everything we needed. We wished there was a way to secure the door. Either a deadbolt or a door chain.

- Jan Henrik (8/5): - Die Lage des Hotels war wirklich top – ruhig, entspannt und alles bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Direkt nebenan, nur wenige Meter entfernt, befindet sich ein FamilyMart, was gerade nachts oder zwischendurch einfach mega praktisch ist, wenn man sich schnell Snacks oder Getränke holen möchte. In der Umgebung gibt es außerdem viele gute Restaurants sowie schöne Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Auch die Anbindung an die U-Bahn ist sehr gut – alles ist schnell erreichbar. Das Zimmer war insgesamt absolut in Ordnung: schön groß, sauber und angenehm eingerichtet. Lediglich die Betten hätten etwas komfortabler sein können, aber das ist wirklich der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt – ich würde definitiv wiederkommen. Leider etwas laut wegen der Straße, und es stank etwas om Zimmer. Und Mikrowelle neben dem Bett ist auch zu sehr USA Klischee und muss nicht sein

- Denise P (10/5): Exceptionally clean, modern and conveniently located building - The location was super convenient and close to the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. The building was accessed through codes provided to us by management and it was seamless to get in and out. The building and our room was exceptionally clean and we felt safe during our stay. We appreciated parking being available for us for parking our vehicle. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful stay away from home.

- Brittanee (8/5): Location was good, noise level was terrible housekeeping, very nice and friendly. Charge for parking - I like the location of the hotel. It's right around the corner from Hollywood Boulevard, which is a great thing from Target, CVS, Raising Cane's ,Liquor stores etc. What could have been better is the noise level the cars are like they're on the freeway all day and night. You need earplugs. Also, I travel with two of my children. They didn't have a TV in the bedroom, which is kind of backwards Myself and children had to share the TV the whole time in the living room for five days😳.I was also charged $50 for my kids wiping they're dirty cheetos hands on the bed and towel. Which they're going to get washed and they're all white so what do you expect when you're traveling with children? I wouldn't recommend coming there with your children if you're going to be charged extra for white bedding and white towels getting dirty. If you wear face makeup, I wouldn't recommend using their towels cause you will be charged.

Though I never met staff, they worked with me to get a refund on the third night I didn't need through booking.com, and gave us a late checkout when we needed it. The staff are very responsive through text messaging. So easy to communicate. Less than a 10-minute walk to Runyon Park for hiking and 5-minute walk to Hollywood blvd. We got a room next to the road so bring noise canceling headphones. Blackout curtains would be helpful

The no contact check-in was new to me but wasn't a deal breaker. There was no disclosure of a height restriction for parking. We had to find parking on the street a couple blocks away the first night, but we were able to get a fix the next day.

L’appartement est très bien équipé avec tout ce qu’il faut à l’intérieur, il est simplement un peu bruyant car on entend lorsque des gens passent dans le couloir. Les lits sont très bien, on a bien dormi ! Le bruit au couloir mais il n’y a pas beaucoup de passage donc ça va !

Clean and convenient. Full kitchen make you save money in meals. No contact with stuff but everything was clear and efficient for checking in/out. Convenient garage. We can accept it, but some guests may be uncomfortable with too hard mattresses, and the noise of the traffic during the night ( not a fault of the hotel but good to know if you are kind of demanding for sleeping conditions)

Overall, I enjoyed staying in the King Suite because I was able to wash and cook during my stay. We didn't have bigger pans to cook which was a minor inconvenience but still able to cook. Although, the cutting board was small but able to still cut each vegetable at a time. It was difficult to sleep in with the blinds because the blinds did not stop the light from coming in completely. I would have appreciated black blinds next time. Feel like people were living in the hotels instead of staying in a short time. Sometimes, some people were loud during the night; not enough were I couldn't fall back to sleep.

Although I didn't use the in room washer and dryer I believe this would be a bonus for those traveling for a long time. I would have liked a luggage rack and an ice machine somewhere in the building.

Die Kommunikation mit der Unterkunft läuft trotz dessen, dass man nie einer zuständigen Person persönlich gegenüberstehet besser ab als in herkömmlichen Hotels. Egal ob Mail, Dm per booking.com, SMS oder Anruf man bekommt sofort eine hilfreiche Antwort. Auch nach meinem zweiten Aufenthalt würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen. Ich habe mehrfach per SMS und DM über die booking App phishing Nachrichten bei denen per Link meine Zahlungsangabe bestätigt werden sollten erhalten. Auf meine Nachfrage wurde jedoch sofort reagiert und ausdrücklich auf die Gefahren hingewiesen. Ich war im April 2024 bereits im Fenix Hotel als dieses vermutlich neu erbaut war. Jetzt, im Oktober 2025 sind mir schon einige minimale Baumängel aufgefallen, unter anderem war der Boden in unserem Apartment an einer Stelle abschüssig.

- Hooker (9/5): Nice room, great location, will repeat. - Being a short walk from Hollywood Blvd was awesome. We went shopping to stock the full kitchen so we could make breakfast daily. The beds were comfy, the A/C was powerful, and the water pressure was great in the shower. We arrived after dark and had trouble finding the entrance. The solutions were in an email rather than on the website tabs, so we didn't find them for a while. Once we had the codes down pat, the rest of the stay was a breeze.

- MARTHA (8/5): - Overall the room is spacious, clean and liked the amenities of a full kitchen and laundry. The neighborhood is ok, and right next to all the landmarks of Hollywood. However, if you intend to park at their property make sure you reserve parking. Arriving late at night and lugging your luggage from Ovation parking isn't the safest or most convenient at all to walk to the hotel. Still a good place to stay.
- Steve (8/5): - Rhe space works great. I was had two seperate reservations in the same week. Both rooms had very comfortable beds, plenty of space, very clean, and useful kitchen. Nive to have a washer/dryer in the bathroom and there was plenty of space. Not crammed at all. Very secure hotel as well. Rooms along the street can be very noisy, especially at night. Ear plugs were provided. It was pretty bad. Our room facing the pool did not have this issue at all. I would stay again, but only if i could secure a pool facing room. It is very close to all that Hollywood has to offer. Just a 4 min walk to CVS , Target, coffee etc. Great location. Parking, if chosen, also secure and useful. Be sure to connect if needed as spaces are limited and must be reserved.

- Kim (8/5): - This hotel is not actually an hotel but an apartment that is being rented out. All issues that you may have must be addressed through a phone call and explained then you have to wait for a response. Parking is not as advertised. If you wish to have it which I suggest due to location, you better make sure way ahead of time that you actually have it. Then be prepared to move your car to different spots daily as they adjust for whatever reason. The spots are tight but the large SUV we rented did fit. The good things are it is clean, safe, and basically a studio apartment. We appreciated the parking (once it was resolved), the washer and dryer and kitchenette area. It is easily walkable to Hollywood Bowl and beats the crowds trying to get out. We would stay again but wish that hotels.com did not advertise none hotels because it caused some unnecessary issues.

I was excited to show my husband the record player however the record play - This is the second time I’ve stayed here I thought the room was super cute. The facility is clean. The upper deck and pool are very nice. I plan on staying here again. Everything was very nice
- Sharon (8/5): - Convenient location. Room had all we needed & if ran short on certain items, staff were on it straight away. Staff were amazing so thank you so much. Every email or message was responded too immediately. There's a distinct odour through the building but not noticeable once in our room so that was ok I guess.
- Tarlia (9/5): Great locationand value for money - We loved this spot. It was great value for money and easy to check in. We were sent all details including where to park and how to access room before we arrived. The location is easy as well, close walk to hollywood boulevard. It had everything we needed and bed and pillows super clean and comfy. The building looks a bit old, and you can hear people in apartment above and out in the hallway. However for the price, we loved it and will be back during our next trip to LA.

- Hamoon (6/5): Gute Unterkunft mit lauter Straße - Großes Zimmer mit schönem Bad und alles sehr praktisch zum wohnen für mehrere Tage. Dusche, Zimmer, Platz für Kleidung und Waschmaschine und Trockner. Kleine Küche gab es auch noch. Leider sehr laut, da an der Straße, zudem hört man alles was im Flur passiert. Bewohner schlagen oft die Tür zu und der Flur ist jetzt nicht gerade ruhig. Fenster sind leider zu dünn und man hört viele Autos auf der Hauptstraße.

- Dario gaston (8/5): 8 puntos - Ubicacion a 2 cuadras del paseo de la fama, es tal cual las fotos, pileta el lugar esta muy bien, parece medio complicado que td es con codigos de acceso pero te acostumbras, la respuesta del anfitrion x medio de mensajes es casi inmediata No habia vasos, si tazas, la cocina es completa pero le falta utensillos, tampoco tiene lugar de guardado para ropa, al menos en la habitacion que nos toco nro 122
- Kern (6/5): - Cute room, but we were awakened constantly by loud elevator and vehicle noises all night long (got no sleep). They provided ear plugs, but those don't fix the problem. Next time I would request a room away from the street and not next to the elevator. I.e. NOT rooms 100 and 200 which are next to the elevator and with windows facing the busy street. Otherwise it's a cute, self-service place. Let's call it a funky stay near Hollywood attractions.

Nice and close to Attractions and lots of Food options would definitely stay again Only downfall is that with cleaning only offered once a week or fee charged floor got really gross, we ran out of toilet paper and had to wash our towels we ended having to buy a broom and more toilet papers would be nice if clean towels and more toilet paper were provided every few days and broom was provided in room :)
- Teawe (8/5): Good bang for buck - The location of Fenix hotel is great. Good information on how to access the hotel and good insights for around Hollywood. The pool was beautiful also and very clean. We appreciated the hotel being in walking distance to the Hollywood walk of fame. The amenities were great within the room we had. Noting it had a washer/ dryer with a full equipped kitchen. We didn't have regular cleaning of our room which I assumed there was. Something to bare in mind whilst staying and also no staffing readily available if required.

- Anna (5/5): Wenn man schlafen möchte, kann ich die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen und würde sie nicht nochmal buchen - Lage, Parken, Preis-Leistung Die Unterkunft hat zwar mehrere Türe mit Zahlencodes was an sich für ein sicheres Gefühl sorgt allerdings werden diese größtenteils nicht von anderen Gästen geschlossen. Der angekündigte Service dass die Handtücher und der Müll gewechselt werden würde nie gemacht. Das Bett ist unfassbar unbequem und die Unterkunft ist extrem hellhörig, man hört jeden Schritt der über einem gemacht wird.

- Alexander (5/5): It was okay - Maintained interior. The con of this property is the 3 different codes and procedures to access the property. Starting with Parking…To access the secure parking you have to exit your car on the street to walk up to the gate and enter the code. Not safe. Next, to access the elevator another code and procedure to get into the building. Of course the room code and procedure is different. All 3 codes and procedures are in different messages from the property that you have to refer to. It was a real hassle. I was “Upgraded” to the first floor on Franklin. Extremely noisy at level of the highly active street. The room walls are very thin. While in name it’s a “Hotel”, this is self access dormitory.
