Guest Reviews
- Julie (8/5): Beautiful view - Staff were excellent and friendly always wanting to help.
Breakfast was great.
Lovely pool area and very comfortable sun beds. Lack of proper bar area.
Amount of steps to climb to get to property.
Very small sauna and gym.
- Jackie (7/5): Pleasant stay, staff lovely but felt it was slightly lacking - Being able to walk into work or town and the gardens Shower over the bath didn’t drain, no extractor in the bathroom , our room was right next to the road which we didn’t expect so it was noisy most of the time. Hot tub almost unusable as not enough water in it.
- Christine (10/5): -
- Oggy (10/5): - Very helpful and professional staff, great location, amazing views. All was perfect.
- Rebecca (10/5): Beautiful hotel facilities - would stay again! - Beautiful property, easy to access off the highway, and a nice walk into the old town. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Definitely recommend! Nothing
- Alex (10/5): -
- FERNANDA (10/5): Beautiful - It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in—and I’ve traveled quite a lot. It’s stunning and intimate. Small, but extremely well maintained, with impeccable taste.
The room was wonderful, with a beautiful sea view—perfect for watching the sunset from the balcony.
The distance to the Old City is manageable. There are some stairs to climb, but that’s hard to avoid in this area. In my opinion, it’s a better option than staying right in the center. I would definitely stay here again. I could live at Palace Natalie—it’s that beautiful. Leaving was sad.
- Noel (9/5): -
- Joanna (10/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel - Beautiful views , peaceful location , attentive and helpful staff , amazing hotel
- Franz (9/5): - Schönes Hotel mit mehreren Gebäuden. Ruhige Lage, freundliches Personal. Viele Stufen.
- Georgina (9/5): beautiful and relaxing - beautiful grounds and amazing views of the old town and coastline, perfect for those wanting to stay outside of the busy centre.
- 638b632f476c73b20c857abf2e41b627 (9/5): Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, grounds were beautiful with amazing views, we had an amazing 4 days. - The cold breakfast selection was fantastic . Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much. The hotel app worked well, being able to message from anywhere in the hotel for drinks and snacks to be brought to you was a real luxury . The rooms were beautifully equipped with amazing views of the old town and the sea. Cleaners came to clean each morning before we had gone out for the day, so returning from breakfast to collect things we had to navigate cleaning staff.
Shower was in bath, which made it a little slippery when stepping out.
- 1b21ff6537bc709fc8d1ba8baf48bd4d (10/5): Outstanding. - Beautiful surroundings, impeccably maintained and brilliant staff. Our room was comfortable, spacious and had every facility we could want. The return walk to the old port/walled city is challenging (both physically and to navigate successfully) but not unduly so and very rewarding. We can’t fault the hotel facilities (though some may miss out on a more established bar/restaurant). We just wish we had booked to stay longer.

- Adrien (8/5): - Staff super
Hôtel très beau
Chambre magnifique Wifi ne fonctionne pas
Système de télévision ne fonctionne pas
Pas de restauration, hors petit déjeuner
- Trond (10/5): -
- Oliver (8/5): An ideal location to stay in a beautifully renovated Chateau - only a short walk from the old town - Incredible location, beautiful property and lovely staff
- Greg (8/5): Great option in Dubrovnik and super friendly staff - Great staff, very friendly and property has lots of activities available Terrible WiFi and rooms can be a bit noisy
- Arianne (10/5): I recently spent 2 amazing nights at this hotel in Dubrovnik and it exceeded my expectations! The staff were super frien - Amazing stay! Friendly staff, clean and comfy room, perfect Old Town location. Would definitely stay again 😊 No complaints here, just a big thumbs up 👍
- Jill (10/5): Excellent stay in a beautiful hotel with charming staff . - Palace Natali exceeded our expectations .. breakfast was superb .. Sanya and her team were friendly , accommodating and always helpful . Our suite was perfect super clean, comfortable with a great view . Location was very good , close enough to walk into the old town , far enough away to be peaceful with beautiful grounds and ancient olive trees well preserved . Sauna and hot tub were great , it wasn’t the weather to use the pool . We liked everything !
- Peter (10/5): -
- Mary Ann (10/5): It was wonderful. A beautiful Hotel for sure - The property is lovely , with a view of the ocean and the city. It’s not real big which makes it more intimate feeling . It took them 10 years to remodel this and it’s so pretty we all would highly recommend staying here. We would love to come back here We liked everything
- Cécile (10/5): -
- Ann (10/5): -
- Jessica (10/5): - The property is beautiful
- John (8/5): - Location view beds Weird turn down. They just knock on your door and give you chocolate. The whole messaging through the phone thing instead of calling a desk was clunky. And the kitchen did not open on time for breakfast on our travel day, so it wound up being rushed. That said, would recommend and would stay again!
- Matthew (8/5): - The hotel was in good condition with lovely views towards the sea. Our suite was very spacious with a large living area with TV and minibar. We were a little disappointed with our balcony with was very narrow with a high wall and restricted view though. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There is a nice outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Breakfast was okay but fairly limited choice with the cooked to order food all centred eggs. Plus it seemed to take an age to arrive even though it was fairly quiet most days. The hotel is set at the top of Dubrovnik and is a 20-25 minute walk down to the old town. So for those not wanting to walk up lots of steps I suggest a taxi back. Plus get an UBER much cheaper than local taxis. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and thank all the staff for their efforts.
- Lydie (8/5): Great hotel, make sure your room is in the main palace grounds. - Everything to do with the palace was amazing. The breakfast was very good, the staff was beyond helpful and very friendly.
The gardens were beautiful. Our room was in a newbuilt flat away from the palace and didn't have the atmosphere we were expecting. It could have been any luxury hotel when we were expecting to stay in a more historic setting. Also the swimming pool is small.
- Ciara (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Palace Natali. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay really enjoyable. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool - so peaceful, a complimentary drink on the terrace at sunset, relaxing on the comfortable seats in the Olive Garden and chatting to the lovely staff and other residents.
As mentioned in all reviews the steps down to the Old Town are fine, the steps back up are more challenging but are absolutely doable, particularly at the cooler times of evening and night. A bit trickier when it’s very hot but there’s also the option of a short taxi ride instead. Dubrovnik is a fabulous place to visit - we’ll be back :o)
- jill (8/5): - Sophisticated hotel. Tranquil Good food friendly waiting staff
- Niamh (10/5): - Peaceful haven away from the busy streets of Dubrovnik. Staff were amazing and friendly.
- Rachel (10/5): Luxurious oasis - The property was stunning and an absolute oasis to return to after a busy day exploring Dubrovnik. The staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely stay here again if we re-visit this magical city. Nothing.
- Paul (10/5): Beautiful hotel - Beautiful facilities
15 min walk to town
- Thais (9/5): Very nice place to stay - The property was amazing, as the staff! We had a wonderful stay!
- Len (10/5): Splendid relaxation in a work of art - Ravishing and the view!
Great staff, pool , and the steak tartar!! Zero
- jade (7/5): - Clean, beautiful interior, comfy beds, friendly staff The food options are limited, especially at lunch time.
- Francelle (10/5): - Amazing property away from bustle of old town. Incredible staff, delicious breakfast, peaceful private pool area, easy parking. Highly recommend. Bit of a walk to the old town but that was why I liked it - others might want to be closer. Buy some food from local market to feed the beautiful street cats on your walk down to town.
- Melissa (9/5): Magical oasis on top of Dubrovnik - Beautiful grounds and building. Fantastic views Seemed to have a wasp problem which was annoying at breakfasts
- Hooper (10/5): Absolutely stunning hotel and worth ever penny - Honestly, we were blown away by how beautiful this hotel is. Stunning grounds and views and very close to the centre. It does means walking down a number of steps to reach the old town but this didn't bother us and we tended to get Ubers back up. The staff are so efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was also fantastic. A lovely cold buffet selection for breakfast and also a good choice of hot food, cooked to order. We also had a lovely dinner there on our anniversary and the hotel treated us to a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate. Our room was also stunning, with one of the best sea views I've ever had. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Nothing!
- Suzanne (10/5): Stunning location, excellent service and beautiful hotel. - Breakfast was excellent I found your lunch menu not having just simple dishes like a sandwich or similar. Also with the dinner menu it would be nice to have a choice of vegetables or side salad to accompany the meal.

- Emily (10/5): Palace Natali is a perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik to get a great home base to visit the Old City - Wonderful property very centrally located with fabulous staff and rooms No complaints!
- Ana (8/5): -
- Ludovic (10/5): -
- George (10/5): Serene and luxurious retreat - Palace Natali is very well situated close enough to Old Town Dubrovnik and is a serene set up with beautiful panoramic views of the sea. The staff is very helpful and made us feel catered for. I liked communicating through their app and they were very responsive every single time including late at night.
- remi (7/5): - Garden is beautiful, staff was friendly Room was underwhelming, breakfast was ok.
Overall not great value for this price point.
- werner (5/5): teils ok.
- Nikola (10/5): Exceptional -
- georgina (10/5): - The beauty of this property is really not captured in the pictures online. You're in your own little sanctuary - after a day in the hustle and bustle of the old town, theres nothing more special than coming home to a palace - shared by very few. So much more special than the similar priced venues such as Rixos and Hilton. Just incredibly special.
- Emma (6/5): Pleasant -
- Agnieszka (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Perhaps more breakfast options/variety
- Ahsan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charley (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful setting Tiny room with no proper window.
The qualify of the food was bad
Both are not 5* standings
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (8/5): A beautiful hotel that deserves your custom - A beautiful hotel set away from the crowds.
Immaculate facilities inclusive of a salt pool when you want to chill for the day
It has a calmness which places you in a tranquil place for the rest of your stay
Definitely a venue to always call your second home Not quite close enough to leisurely walk to the old Town
- Anna (8/5): Overall a lovely stay - a tranquil haven - but most trips back from old town will require a taxi. - Quiet - a small haven of peace . Up hill walk back and needed to cross busy roads.
Breakfast - lacked plentiful supplies of fruit and cooked option sometimes lacked finesse.
- James (10/5): Beautiful hotel, peaceful environment with extremely helpful staff - Exceptional from start to finish, grounds were truly impressive, room was lovely and staff were excellent. Very very minor - balcony was in shade for most of the day.
- Lea (10/5): a tranquil oasis! - This tranquil oasis is the perfect escape from the hustle & bustle from old town, yet still within walking distance! The grounds & rooms are immaculate and the staff is attentive and very kind. You are treated like royalty. The food is also delicious! I truly can’t say enough good things about this intimate hotel and will definitely be back.
- Amanda (10/5): A touch of class - Stylish, impeccably clean, comfortable and convenient The dinner menu at sister restaurant Hotel More was incredible, wish Palace Natali had the same. But otherwise, can not find any fault with our perfect stay
- Melissa (10/5): Fabulous…staff amazing! Peaceful retreat! - Gorgeous….meticulously landscaped and so peaceful! Loved it all…
- Ruby (7/5): Probably a little over expensive for the experience - The hotel is on beautiful grounds and it’s only a few 15 min walk to the old town. It’s very pretty and clean. I don’t think it’s worth the money, it’s a staff less hotel, where you book and order everything on an app, takes it away from feeling special. We got out in a room which wasn’t in the main building which was such a shame as they knew it was our honeymoon. The annex room we got put in was near the loud road and the bathroom was tiny, shower bath which isn’t very luxurious. On checkout we didn’t really get a god vibe from the staff and it all just felt a bit odd.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (10/5): - Lovely stay, the staff at Palace Natali catered to our every need and made us feel really comfortable. Room was comfortable, clean, and had a beautiful view. Food was excellent. Definitely would recommend.
- Sneha (10/5): Luxury, comfort and exceptional service - This property is grand, exquisite and a 10/10, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, the views from our room were gorgeous, we loved this place so much, we even extended our trip by a day and the staff was helpful in accomodating us. we used the facilities like the pool, sauna, jacuzzi throughout our stay and it was all very clean and the best part of the stay was the impeccable service from the staff.. breakfast was fresh and delicious.. very easy to go down to the city centre within 10 mins of walk..the staff was so attentive and caring, we loved our stay! Nothin at all, it was perfect from start to end.
- Chien (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): - .
- Karen (8/5): Relaxing but a little too quiet for us - The hotel was impeccably clean. The lunchtime menu was limited in choice as was breakfast selection. The hotel itself was beautiful but for us it was a little too remote. There wasn't anywhere to sit in the evening for a pre dinner or after dinner drink and we found it a little too quiet for us.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Quiet location, well kept property & grounds. Staff very good. Good messaging system for contacting hotel and ordering drinks etc. Evening meal expensive & needs more variety. Breakfast freshly cooked, but again needs more options (mainly based around eggs).
- Trinka (8/5): Very good - Beautiful view and large clean and comfortable room Exact same breakfast selection day after day and some days only oranges for fresh fruit. No pears or bananas. Very expensive
- John (10/5): - Great staff and service! A beautiful and quiet oasis!
- Miaken (10/5): Exceptional - Palace Natali was incredible. The property itself was so beautiful we sort of wanted to just hang out there! Such a luxurious escape at a reasonable price. Beet breakfast I’ve had on my life. I’d go back on a second
- Neil (8/5): Lovely hotel in a beautiful friendly city. - Very peaceful and beautifully restored old buildings with incredible attention to detail and lots of nice artistic touches. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was simple but delightfully presented and healthy. Fairly good gym with free weights and a couple of machines. Nice 10m pool outside - very quiet with only a few guests which suited us perfectly. We chose a top floor room which was a little small and had a sloping roof. I recommend guests choose one of the available larger rooms. Also Dubrovnik is on a steep hill so there are many steps to navigate - less mobile travellers beware.
- Gaelen (7/5): Good hotel in a great location, disappointed with the food - Great location, beautiful grounds and facilities. big rooms with comfortable bed Breakfast and lunch/bar food. Very limited choice and quality of food was very poor.
- Clair (10/5): Perfect couples short break. - Beautiful building and grounds. Walking distance from City Centre. Friendly helpful staff. Delicious cocktails and breakfast. NA
- Sarah (10/5): Incredible stay at Palace Natali and Dubrovnik….its a wow from us. - This place is stunning. Location is up a hill, however only 10 mins from the old town. Yes, there are lots of steps, however you can break part of your journey back by using the slope instead and then the last 107 steps back up to the hotel or Uber is super cheap. We walked there and back most days. A very simple choice with breakfast but lovely and you can have fizz with that. It only has 20 rooms and when we arrived we were there with a few other guests. The staff are super helpful and will help with anything. There are so many places to eat in the old town and every meal we had was superb. We love to walk and there are a lot of steps around the old town, so have good walking shoes and a good set of knees. Loved Dubrovnik and Palace Natali was the icing on the cake. Loved everything

- James (9/5): Lovely stay in a beautiful property - A beautiful property that has clearly had a huge recent investment. Very large comfortable room with great bed, bathroom, and its own entrance on to a terrace to the side of the main garden. Great breakfast, but we didn't eat there otherwise as there are too many options to explore in Dubrovnik's old town. Very friendly and professional staff, and the unexpected complimentary private transfer to the airport by Range Rover was great! Seemed expensive when I booked but worth it and it's clear where the money goes!
