Guest Reviews
- Simon (10/5): We attended a beautiful wedding on site. Lovely staff and very comfortable accommodation. - Very comfortable "pod", privacy and separate from other pods. Clean, comfortable and clever online unlocking of the front door. Everything we needed was provided and the breakfast goodies were appreciated.
- Ha Thi Minh (4/5): No good customer service (not answer any message from me at all) - Clean I send messages asking for Invoice but no one answered
Breakfasts were very pour, prices was included breakfast but not actually breakfast, just yagout and bread in the room
- Carolyn (9/5): Ticked all the right boxes - Breakfast was superb š Very limited shelf space in the bathroom for appliances and cosmetics
- Rhonda (10/5): Fantastic stay - Loved staying here. Perfect for our weekend getaway. Looked after so well by the staff. Room and extras well presented. We had an Olive Grove room. Lovely outlook. We took our wine and wandered through the vineyard. Unexpected bottle of bubbles. Thanks. That the restaurant closes at 5pm.
- Alana (8/5): -
- Dione (10/5): -
- Jacinta (10/5): Beautiful, easy, delicious continental breakfast - Proximity to the wedding Nothing
- Kate (10/5): I will be back - I loved the loaf of bread included for the continental breakfast. It was 11/10. I will be buying extra bread when I return next time.
- Maxine (10/5): We would definitely stay again. - Clean and well designed. We had some issues with the room given vs the room expected, but staff were lovely and sorted it out without any issues.
- Tim (10/5): - Everything great except maybe a door of some sort between main area and ensuite so you can visit loo without sending your partner outside š
- Rex (9/5): Most enjoyable. - Breakfast was most ideal. Quiet location not far from attractions. Screen on bathroom/toilet
- Barbara (10/5): -
- Emma (10/5): - The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. There isnāt a door for the bathroom which is the wall just behind the bed. So if you go to the toilet there is no privacy at all.
- Ken (10/5): -
- Graeme (1/5): Never Again. - The private function we attended was well catered for with attentive staff and comfortable settings. The over priced pod, with the electronic entry not working. When rang number to report was treated to 15 odd minutes of advertising over and over with no one bothering to pick up. The shower water was not adjustable to allow a shower and then would not turn off.
- Sarah (10/5): Wonderful, relaxing stay with family - Location is so peaceful, staff very helpful and friendly.
- Dannielle (10/5): -
- Bianca (10/5): A beautiful Experience - My partner and I recently stayed in one of the pods at Mt Duneed Estate, and "fantastic" doesn't even begin to cover it! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the peaceful atmosphere of the vineyard.
The attention to detail made our stay feel truly special. We were greeted with a beautiful bottle of wine and a loaf of delicious, fresh complimentary bread was such a thoughtful and tasty touch! We will definitely be back!

- Judy (8/5): Relaxing , comfortable place - Nice accommodation, very comfortable beds . Clean inside with a nice bath outside , shame about the cobwebs everywhere outside, an easy fix which clearly hadnāt been done in a very long time Just the cobwebs everywhere on the balcony and all over the outside of building, made it look very shabby although I side appeared nice and clean
- Agnes (8/5): Lovely stay, with a beautiful calm view. Nice place to getaway from everything. - We loved the nature that surrounded us. The breaky was simple, but quite nice. We also loved the location not far from the city. Just a nice modern room. We had cobwebs in the room with a spider. The front door alarm went off at 3am in the morning, so we woke up. We wish we had more storage in the bathroom to put things on top of.
- Essi (9/5): Quite comfortably in the middle of the vineyards - + Nice location in the middle of the vineyard
+ rather new and well equipped
+ a big bed
+ lunch in the restaurant was very good! - our view from the balcony wasnāt nice, a gate. Just wondering that the pods towards the vineyard were empty but all the guests were accomodated on the āotherā sideā¦
- breakfast was very modest; a loaf of bread with butter and yoghurt. + coffee and juice. (If you want something on your bread, make sure you bring it with you. This could have been mentioned in beforehand.)
- not cleaned very well⦠š¬ and no bathroom door
- no dinner options nearby
- Kathy (10/5): Stunning clean very comfortable - Itās was beautiful and very peaceful Only thing it didnāt have a microwave
- Carolyne (5/5): - Location No bathroom door, no reception, lack of facilities within room such as microwave. No free to air tv without using WiFi.
Room suitable for single night only
- Samantha (10/5): -
- Kristy (10/5): - Beautiful stay
- Christina (8/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): - Loved every minute while at the estate. Nice and quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was beautiful
- Maree (10/5): - Perfect short stay after a beautiful lunch and wine tasting
- Russell (6/5): - Quiet, friendly staff Cold, with heating struggling to maintain a comfortable temperature and noisy AC. Only supplied UHT milk for breakfast. Fresh milk would be better for coffee. A small microwave oven would also be ideal or even a communal/camp kitchen.
No evening dining on site.
- Luke B. (10/5): - Staff and pod was awesome!
- Mary Anne (10/5): - Super clean, modern, comfortable bedding and free streaming. I would happily stay here again.
- Jaime (8/5): Very good - Included breakfast and wine
Outdoor bath
Parking space by pod. There is no toilet door for privacy.
Restaurant is not open for dinner.
Privacy screen on right of Bath would be ideal.
Heating on before arrival would have been a nice touch.
- Vaughan (8/5): Very good -
- Rose (9/5): Superb -
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional - Everything and the location was very restful. Nothing, We should have stayed longer.
- Taylah (6/5): Beautiful pod over looking vineyard - Pods set on a beautiful winery with stunning sunrise views. Pod was a little dirty upon arrival. Spiderwebs on tv and dirty sink. Very dusty- maybe just the heater?
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location and well equipped pods. We attended a wedding on site - it is a spectacular venue. Bottle of sparkling on arrival and continental breakfast were lovely & necessary extras. Thank you.
- Clara (6/5): Pleasant - Nice stay, for a stop over in the vineyards. Lovely lunch at the onsite restaurant. Rooms where not very clean and nosiey neighbouring guests arriving early am.
- Khanh-vy (9/5): Really lovely accommodation - I think itās a beautiful accommodation, very modern and very comfortable. Love the touches like breakfast provided so I could self serve. Plenty of coffee. Really memorable. There are no instructions that after hours, there is a second exit. I went to the main entrance and was quite distressed because it was padlocked and nothing to tell me that I am supposed to enter through a hidden second exit. Also, thereās no instructions on how to use the shower taps. I stood there freezing adjusting taps for a few minutes. I was also forced to pay for a room that had a bath on the balcony that I couldnāt really use because it was raining.
- Susan (10/5): - Awesome Place ššš
- Brandon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Eric (9/5): Peaceful and quiet, only a few minutes from Geelong. - Excellent location, nestled in between the vineyard and Mt Duneed Winery, along the Geelong-Colac road. Although this busy road was nearby, the traffic noise was negligible. The porch had a couple of comfortable chairs, and this was ideal for sitting and sipping a drop in the balmy evening weather. The hot water didn;t work in the shower, although it did in both bathroom and living area sinks. Aside from that, this was an ideal place to enjoy a short time in the Geelong area.
- Angie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Eve (10/5): It was just soooo relaxing , quiet & surreal ā¦.A total haven of privacy. .. we just loved it - Just so lovely , quiet & surrealš§” Nothing!
- Robert (10/5): We had a really nice 2 days - Breakfast was good with the exception of the bread ⦠very dry Only the bread
Perhaps some cheese might have been good too
- Garry (8/5): Very good -
- Chin Hsuan (8/5): - It's okay
- Anne-maree (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maggie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tiffany (4/5): Disappointing - Beautiful location The accomodation didnāt feel very clean, it looked like the accomodation hadnāt been well cleaned between guests and the continental breakfast had expired yoghurt. The Tv wouldnāt connect to channels due to bad internet connection from the pod we stayed in
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Locky (10/5): will definitely return - very nice property, very aesthetically pleasing, location was awesome and the staff were very helpful the only negative about the room is that the curtains let in a lot of light so its hard to get a good sleep in (we work in hospo so usually work nights and appreciate a sleep in )āŗļø
also the bathroom could have been a little bit cleaner, there were hair clumps on the floor from the previous stayers- but still loved this place and will be back!
- Mandy (4/5): Not the righe place to stay if you donāt plan to drive - The pod was immaculately clean and beautifully appointed. The breakfast provisions were plentiful and fresh. The king bed was comfy. Images and descriptions indicated the pods overlooking the vineyard. Ours overlooked the road and entry gate. Photos of an outdoor bath, which ours did not have, are deceptive. The winery closed at 5:00pm and without a BBQ or even a microwave, we had to drive 15 mins to the closest place to eat.
- Scott (10/5): - Mt Duneed Estate was a lovely standalone studio villa. We had one overlooking the olivegrove which had a slightly lesser view and no outdoor bathtub. The villa was very nicely equipped with a kingsize comfortable bed, TV and kitchenette. The best thing was the stunning breakfast.
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (8/5): Expensive but nice for one day. - brand new, comfortable, very nice breakfast and room with a view! good for short term stay only
- Brian (8/5): Very good -
- Lauren (8/5): Clean and comfortable - Clean and comfortable bed, well decorated and roomy No door on the bathroom and no full length mirror
- Lina (10/5): It was beautiful holiday - Location and the vives no milk provided for breakfast
- Julie (2/5): Too expensive for what you get. - Close the the venue No door on bathroom so no privacy. Breakfast was not enough for two people.
- Gordon (8/5): a good get away -
- Anika (9/5): Spacious, modern and well-styled property, perfect stay for functions at Mt. Duneed Estate or a relaxing couples getaway - Close proximity to Mt Duneed Estate, continental breakfast included, spacious, modern and well-styled Outdoor balcony was a bit dirty, cobwebs covering glass balustrade
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, we wished we were there longer so we will rebook another time to enjoy a winery tour and dinner at the restaurant.
- Tabetha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jimmy (7/5): Good - Convenience. Had a function in the main hall Weather was awful but not the venues fault
- Carroll (10/5): The bed was amazing most comfortable bed and the pillows omg in clouds - Great loved the grounds Nothing
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Great getaway for a night to escape your busy life. Beautiful view and amazing bath outside on the balcony. Very relaxin - Clean and quiet and cosy Balcony spiderwebs need to be cleaned
- Mes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Prudence (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -

- Naomi (10/5): Excellent and Convenient - They supplied a continental breakfast which was lovely. Location was so convenient as we attended the Day on the Green. The pods were so lovely and the view was amazing.
- Sharan (10/5): Loved the bath on the deck! Such a gorgeous property! - Such a gorgeous property and location! Absolutely nothing to dislike about this accomodation!
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emilia (7/5): Overall ok but i would not go back, did not see the value for the money - No bathroom door was a negative surprise
- Joanne (8/5): Grate experience - Beautiful , clean and well appointed room The coffee pods were the wrong size for the machine
