McIntyre (10/5): A gem of a place. - What a find! Our last two nights of our 2 week driving holiday could not have ended any better. Joalah is tucked away in the national forest between Batemans Bay and Ulladulla. From the moment you drive in, you start to relax. We arrived early and were greeted with welcome smiles from Kate and her staff and we were told that the early arrival was not an issue. Our cabin was situated down the other end of the park overlooking the lake and ocean. The cabin was well appointed with everything you would need to cook with in the kitchen. The bed and pillows were so comfortable that I actually had the best sleep in the whole two weeks. The entire cabin was spotless and comfortable. The view was spectacular. The lake that was shallow enough to walk across to the ocean was beautiful. Abundance of bird life, special shout out to the parrot that insisted on sharing my fruit, and so many kangaroos. They were not invasive at all and a pleasure to watch in the late afternoon as they grazed on the lawn in front of the cabins. We did not want to leave on our last day but we know about this beautiful place and we will definitely be back. I would live there if I could. Having to leave

Allan (10/5): The best holiday experience in Batemans Bay! - This is our second trip. There is just so much to do for the kids, and so close to nature and amazing animals. The cabin is just so clean and homely and the hosts, Kate and Noreen are fabulous and go out of their way to be so accommodating! We will be returning again for another amazing holiday!

It’s amazing to step out of your cabin and be only a few steps from the lagoon. The neighbours are very close by, and unfortunately we were disturbed by noise.

Huisje was schoon en de bedden lagen goed. Auto naast het huisje. Snelle wifi. Je loopt zo het strand op. Als je uiteten wilt of boodschappen doen dan moet je 25 min rijden naar Batemans bay.
