• DAVID (8/5): Overall happy with the stay. I would use again. - Only issue was the upstairs visitors. The floor is not well soundproofed and upstairs were very heavy walkers, stomping around very early amd very late.

Uncomfortable bed and no cold water, but otherwise lovely. - It was a clean, nice-smelling and secure apartment that felt very comfortable during the stay. The space was a decent size and suited our needs well. We really appreciated the easy access with the door codes, which made check-in and coming and going very convenient. Overall, a pleasant stay and I would happily recommend it to friends and family. Very firm bed—felt like sleeping on the ground. No cold water in the fridge either, so you’ll need to bring your own bottles.

Recommended! - The property is by a main road but the road was closed due to flooding during the night so it was quiet. However, the host did supply ear plugs but we didn’t need them. The host also rang us to advise of the flooding on the road so it would only be open during low tide. Nothing!

But come prepared with ear plugs or with a white noise machine, and it is really easy to manage the noise.

• David (8/5): - The owners have done a fabulous job updating a classic building with higher-end furnishings and appliances. Our room was spacious, had recently been updated including the bathroom, and the owners had done everything possible to make the experience as good as it could be. However, I must forewarn guests that the location can be extremely noisy as it's adjacent to the highway. Our room was close to the street and we had a tough time getting the kids to bed due to the noise from trucks. I realize the owner can't change the location, but perhaps double glazed windows could reduce the impact from the traffic? Overall, I was impressed with the efforts of the owner to create a great place for a stopover but our unit had more noise than we expected.

There was some traffic noise and noise from the upstairs apartment but there were ear plugs provided which were appreciated
• Pascal (10/5): Ein Unterkunfts-Juwel in Ingham. - Ein offenbar altes Haus mit dem Charme seiner Epoche wurde sehr durchdacht und überlegt renoviert und gestaltet. Kleine Details (hochwertige Badartikel, Küchenausstattung…), die über die Fürsorge von Hotels hinausgehen. Inklusive ein Toilettenpapier, das tatsächlich verwendbar ist. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld (Self Check in sowie umfangreiche Informationen) war top. Wir hatten das Glück, Adam, den Besitzer, bei unserer Ankunft anzutreffen. Liebenswert, hilfsbereit und ein guter Gastgeber. Für die Lage an einer ziemlich befahrenen Kreuzung kann das Haus nichts. Es wäre eine Idee, die Straßenseite mit einer dichten Hecke einzufassen.
• Aussie (5/5): Not for us I’m afraid. - The apartment was a good size and very clean. It had a comfortable sofa in the lounge room and good sized television. The rain shower was pleasant and had plenty of hot water. The location of the apartments is on the main road (Bruce H’way). It is extremely noisy with trucks etc passing constantly throughout the day and night and stopping for the lights closeby. It is also rather cold in the apartment and with only one light blanket on the bed it was not a pleasant sleepover. We were cold and had very little sleep. There are ear plugs provided on the bedside table. After reading such good reviews we were happy to try them. I’m afraid it left us very disappointed. It’s good to see that others do not share my opinion as I think the owners have obviously put a lot of work into doing it up.

The birds and traffic was a bit noisy, so if you are a lite sleeper, you will probably not have a restful night. We did however get earplugs and that was great. The toilet had no lock. This is okay with family, but not so great traveling with friends.

• Cathy (10/5): - Stepping in to the apartment was like stepping back in time with gorgeous Art Nouveau décor, but with the comforts of modern day 2024. We enjoyed our short stay of two nights in the apartment and even though it is on a main road we did not hear any road noise when we slept. Our Sans Souci apartment was a peaceful, private, clean oasis to retreat too after our busy days. Our host Adam contacted us via SMS and self entry into the apartment was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Ingham.

Probably one of the best in the area. - The property was beautifully presented and great instructions to enter and leave the property. The property is close to the highway and near lights so there was a lot of traffic noise. If you are used to traffic noise, then you will be fine but I usually have a quiet street, so I noticed it.

• Iain (10/5): Art Deco gem in Ingham - Lovely set of apartments centrally located in Ingham. Recently renovated and well designed whilst retaining some of the art deco charms of the original building. Our family of three had a lovely two night stay. Great staff who were on hand to help with any questions or issues. Would highly recommend as a base to check out what Ingham and surrounding area has to offer!
