Le service, l’accueil, la lumière dans les chambres, les salles de bain qui ne sont pas confort
- Deniz (1/5): Если вы хотите «незабываемый» и полностью испорченый отдых- ВАМ ТОЧНО В ЭТОТ ОТЕЛЬ - Этот отель – вопиющее разочарование и пример того, как категорически нельзя работать в сфере гостеприимства. Персонал абсолютно не обучен: неквалифицированный, некомпетентный, действует самовольно и без малейшего уважения к гостям. Складывается впечатление, что людей набрали просто «с улицы». Любые просьбы игнорируются. Для ребёнка мы заказывали отдельное меню с конкретными овощами — приносили совершенно другое, даже не удосужившись предупредить об отсутствии нужных продуктов. Завтрак здесь – отдельная катастрофа: ждать заказ приходится 40 минут, детское пюре нам несли 27 минут, а детский стульчик «доставляли» ещё 10. В итоге маленький ребёнок вынужден сидеть и страдать от бездействия сотрудников, потому что они просто не умеют работать. Кульминацией стало то, что по их вине нам не выдали пропуск на автомобиль для посещения VIP-ложи «Формулы-1», билеты на которую были куплены через их консьержсервис. Итог: в 40-градусную жару мы шли пешком с 7-месячным ребёнком на руках час в одну сторону и час обратно, потому что никакой возможности воспользоваться коляской не было – кругом болото, лес и бездорожье. Всё это через толпу людей, где нас едва не задавили. Это было похоже на издевательство и прямая угроза здоровью ребёнка. Персонал же цинично пожал плечами и заявил, что «такого быть не могло». Более того, они пытались оправдаться абсурдными доводами, что «если бы мы поехали с их водителем, всё было бы иначе». Но дело было не в машине, а в том, что сотрудники отеля по собственной халатности не оформили пропуск, лишив нас нормального доступа и испортив весь отдых. И как будто этого мало — прямо перед отелем идут масштабные строительные работы. Подъехать к входу невозможно, гостям приходится тащить чемоданы пешком по жаре. К постоянному шуму электрички добавляется грохот техники, ремонтных машин и дороги. И всё это — при том, что цена отеля ни на грамм не снижается. Наш отдых был испорчен полностью.

Anything you request as a quest means you have to pay. Some ice in my room had to pay 15 Euro. Additional bed in one of the rooms for the children Nanny ended in an argument to add another room which can’t be done as it will leave the children unattended.

- isasW3554LA (10/5): Above expectations! - After the most uncomfortable flight ever with American Airlines - our stay at the Palazzo Cordusio was the experience we needed to rest, and discover Milano in style. The hotel is perfectly located a few steps from the Duomo. Our family of 4 - self-admittedly picky guests - stayed in a wonderful suite with 2 bedrooms. The beds are uber-comfy, the bathrooms perfectly appointed and the rooms are perfectly sound proofed and dark at night. The Terrace at the Isola is delightful - a nice breeze and shade accompany delicious meals with beautiful views . But what makes a hotel experience unique and elevated is the people who welcome you. Alessia and Jessica and all the teams made us feel special in a polished yet genuine way. The attention to details (from the sweets from Marchesi, smiling help from the bellboys, to the Dyson hairdryers in the suite) made our stay memorable. Well Done! We will come back.

- NYCMARKFAMILY (10/5): Home away from Home - I am writing this literally on our way to the airport. The Palazzo Cordusio Gran Melia in Milan sets their standards high! Customer experience is their product and they delivered! From the moment we entered the front doors, we were greeted by all of the doormen and bell staff. We were swiftly exhorted to reception where the process was quick and efficient. The rooms were very well appointed with a modern Italian aesthetics, which we enjoyed. The main reason that I am writing this review is to share our experiences about the team that made our four day stay so wonderful. The reception team was agile when reacting to the lack of cold air coming from our unit in one of our rooms. They quickly sent a technician to help resolve. Unfortunately, it didn’t fix it so the reception desk found another room for our boys to sleep in since it was late in the evening. The Guest Experience team sent us daily note cards wishing us a great stay. We received boxes of candy and cookies as well. What topped it all off was the Negroni drink experience that was served in our room on the last night. A big shout out to the Concierge Team who helped make dinner reservations, booked our car service to the Serravalle Outlet mall, and made arrangements for our day trip to Lake Como where they also helped order a “picnic basket” of food for our boat trip. The entire team provided us with the highest level service. I tried to remember all the names but there are so many. From Alessandro, Jessica, Edoardo, Tatiana, Francesca. Wishing the Palazzo Cordusio team the very best. What a rare find to experience everything come together.
- 399sanjak (2/5): Hand luggage stolen while in Hotel possession - Hand luggage stolen while in Hotel possession Visited Milan for weekend and for pre Christmas shopping , stayed for 2 nights at Grand Melia Palazzo Cordusio.Hotel is nice , location great , but everything else below par for 5- star hotel. Highlight of the stay is probably the worst thing ever happened to me while staying at any hotel. During checkout , hotel staff collected my luggage (2 suitcases) from the room. Within minutes my taxi arrived and when I asked for luggage to be loaded into the vehicle, person who collected bags from the room in very calm manner with smile on the face informed me that there is a small problem, yes very small problem, my hand luggage was taken by random person in front of bell boy, doorman and security and freely fled the hotel. Everyone saw what happened and did nothing. As most of my valuables were in the hand luggage watches , bags, jewellery I knew immediately it wasn’t by accident that my case was taken, and staff behaviour and actions afterwords prove to this point. Police attended scene, criminal investigation ongoing , police report filled to the Italian police and despite reassurance from hotel GM that hotel accepts full responsibility and liability nothing have happened, very poor or no communication and responses to my legal team since. I was holding back writing this review in hope that hotel will act in proper manner and efficiently resolve this incident. Unfortunately no appropriate response or action yet. We will meet them in court soon, fellow travellers pick your hotels wisely!

They were not able to fix it and gave us ear plugs. In addition big construction in front of the hotel. Until midnight music bass in our room from somewhere. Breakfast service very slow. We waited up to 80 minutes for our food. Our request for two small instead of one large duvet took four attempts and we had three people in our room. Very poor service. Not close to 5 star. Complains are not taken seriously.

- Anna (8/5): Ideale Lage, aber für den Preis zu wenig Service. - Die Lage ist hervorragend, das Gebäude ist von aussen und innen sehr schön, die Erreichbarkeit vom Bahnhof ist sehr gut, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist gut. Das Zimmer war viel kleiner als vorgestellt, zum Beispiel hatte es kein wirkliches Badezimmer, sondern nur einen Vorhang, der einen grösseren Raum in zwei Bereiche geteilt hat und nur ein Waschbecken. Wir hatten das Hotel u.a. auch wegen des Schwimmbades ausgesucht. Bei der Ankunft teilte man uns dann aber mit, dass man den Schwimm- und Spabereich erst ab 10.00 Uhr morgens nutzen könne und man zuvor die Rezeption anrufen müsse, damit einen jemand dorthin begleite. Das entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen, wir wollten selbstständig und schon am Morgen dorthin gehen. Unser Zimmer lag im zweiten Stock und hatte einen (sehr kleinen) Balkon. Man hörte die Strassenbahn relativ laut. Diese fährt aber nicht die Nacht durch. Die Preise im Restaurant und auf der Dachterrasse sind exorbitant hoch. Das Essen im italienischen Restaurant ist geschmacklich in Ordnung. Der Frühstücksraum, der (anscheinend ausnahmsweise im fünften Stock, also im italienischen Restaurant war) ist sehr dunkel.

Quiet too considering it is on a busy street. Staff polite. Service overall was a bit disappointing in comparison to other 5 star hotels we have stayed in. They were willing to accommodate requests only for hefty additional costs, which we thought unacceptable particularly given that the Spa was unavailable during our stay. The reception is all the way at the top of the hotel and lift wasn’t always available quickly. There were misunderstandings (miscommunications?) between staff on the ground floor and upstairs on the 5th. We were told to go upstairs so someone could show us to our room, only to have him take us to back to the lift. The next day we were locked out of our room and had to go upstairs for another key. 5 star hotels should function more seamlessly.

Top Notch Very close to the Duomo and I walked a lot while I was there. Super friendly kind staff. Their breakfast downstairs is in the prettiest room too. Best cappuccino I’ve ever had! I had a big tub and they gave me yummy bath salts and their products are really nice!! The only bummer was my room was on the courtyard below the restaurant and it was loud a few nights until after midnight. Tough to sleep when you have jet lag otherwise it was GREAT!

- Joanne (10/5): Super attentive staff in a very central location - In the heart of town very very close to Teattro Alla Scala which was our proirity. The staff were excellent and very kind. I fell on my first night and the bellhops and doormen were extremely helpful getting us a first aid kit. Bravo! We rented an Avis car and when we dropped the car off before checking in. We never valet the car with the hotel or anything so Avis said get the hotel to settled the bill for us. On the day we checked in, I brought it up. The concierge didn’t act with speed and seemed to say it was no importance. When we checked out two days later, suddenly I have to open accounts with the civil traffic authorities and pay a late charge of €22 euro since I had missed the 24-hour payment. Had I left it longer than a week, it would have been €75. This took a further three days to sort out in my absence as the concierge’s ineptitude made me late for my airline check-in. Palazzo Cordusio, can you please educate your concierge’s in this procedure? So it’s is taken care of on Day One of our stay and not a mad scramble when we checked out. This was the most disappointing thing.

- Jean-Jacques (3/5): très décevant - l'emplacement est très bien le personnel qui n'est pas forcemment compétent (oubli de commandes, n'arrive pas à servir du vin au restaurant). Le personnel n'est pas du tout formé pour répondre aux standards d'un hotel 5 étoiles. Le système de plomberie qui est mal dimensioné (impossible d'avoir de l'eau chaude de façon constante sous la douche)

- 41mahag (2/5): Stay away - Stay away Horrifying Experience – Theft, Suspicious Behavior, and Unprofessional Staff My stay at this hotel was nothing short of horrifying. After withdrawing 3,500 euros from the hotel’s safe, I had the money in my coat pocket 1900 inside the wallet the rest was not as I headed toward the elevator. Unfortunately, I fell down the stairs and broke my leg. The staff helped me back to my room, and due to my injury, I couldn’t move or check my belongings right away. The next day, before the ambulance arrived to take me to the hospital, I finally had the chance to check my coat and realized that part of the money was missing. It hadn’t gone missing on its own—it was stolen while the staff was assisting me. When I reported the theft to the hotel management, they initially promised to check the security cameras but made me wait for three hours. After that, they claimed I needed to provide a police report. Despite my broken leg, I went to the police station in a wheelchair to get the report. After all the effort I made, they gave yet another excuse, saying it was too late at night and I needed to wait until morning. The following morning, they refused again, saying a police officer needed to be present for them to open the footage. I strongly believe that the hotel staff knew who stole the money and were trying to cover it up. Their constant delays and excuses were highly suspicious. To make matters worse, every time I bought something from the market, the bags were sealed with stickers, closed very tightly. But each time I returned to my room, I found the bags opened, as if someone had been going through them to check what was inside. On top of this, my previous room smelled terrible, like a drainage issue, which made my stay even worse. Initially, the staff treated me kindly, but once I obtained the police report, they became hostile and treated me very poorly. Their behavior only added to my suspicion that they were covering for someone. This hotel was a complete disaster, both in terms of safety and professionalism. I would warn anyone considering staying here to stay far away. Something very suspicious is going on. I have the police report but for safety reasons i cant post it

- sindelard (10/5): Best new address in Milan - Went to this Hotel for the first time whilst in Milan. Since I know well the city as we are frequent travellers we decide to try this Hotel. Rooms are well appointed , great size and very comfortable. The breakfast room is a the main bar on the ground floor , beautiful settings and fast and friendly service. We had dinner upstairs at the Japanese Sachi , good choice , good food and service just ok. For lunch we choose the bar for a comfort food and it was delicious , Juan our server was nice and friendly. At the Guest experience , nothing was ever a problem , very well run Hotel , will be back for sure. Overall a wonderful stay with professional and super relaxed personnel that made the difference compared to other Hotels of this kind in Milan.
