Guest Reviews
- Anton (8/5): - Comfortable and close to the airport.
- Daiana Thuy (10/5): - Perfect for what I needed, a nice firm bed and a beautiful and well maintained pool. I would recommend if you might want to have breakfast there to just pay for it with booking because it was way more expensive to pay there
- Nik (1/5): Unsatisfactory, unhygienic and quite expensive. - Staff are always professional and courteous. The room that we were provided was tiny, dirty and had an odour of urine and fish.
My partner and I stay there regularly and this was the worst night that we have ever had there.
- FAM59 (4/5): Poor value for money - Convenient for airport. Overall resort facilities good. Room clean and functional. No lift to rooms on level 1. Carrying heavy bags up and down stairs a very bad experience. Accommodation block in the middle of a building site.
Poor sign posting from main check in.
In summary this makes it poor value for money
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Jasmine (8/5): -
- Carolyn (5/5): Only reason to stay here is for flight connections - Close to airport Tiny room, ridiculously expensive for what you get
- Peter (3/5): - Swimming pool, courtesy bus Distance to unit with heavy bags and golf clubs. Breakfast starts too late at 6am which I paid for and couldn't have!!!...not happy Jan. Accommodation is very basic for over $300 per night
- PAMELA (8/5): - Close to the airport , sharing the pool with the Novotel!
- Tony (5/5): I had a roof and a bed. - Very cramped disjointed room. More like a mining camp.
- Michael (5/5): -
- Hepana (7/5): - Close to airport Nothing
- Cheryl (6/5): - The concierge was amazing. He picked us up and dropped off to airport. Self check in too great Roof very small, no elevator
- Rhonda (10/5): arrived at 12.15 check in was great and staff assisted to our rooms - friendly staff very clean
- Trudi (5/5): -
- PAMELA (7/5): It served a purpose being closed to the airport. - The pool!
The breakfast was good. Ibis units need a bit of upgrade. You need lights above the signage on the building .We were sent off walking in the dark with baggage to find our unit which was the furthest away from reception. There were temporary construction fences everywhere. Not a good first impression of the place.
I think there’s a need for a shuttle bus service between the hotel and airport for everyone not just the top paying clientele and a bus service into town. There’s absolutely nothing to do at the hotel except the pool which is great but otherwise you are stuck there. The cost of Ubers and Taxis to go back and forwards soon adds up.
- Bernie (8/5): Good place to stay at Airport - Great place to stay if you have to catch an early flight . It is a huge complex of 3 hotels , so the walk to the rooms was far
Comfortable room , with all amenties the size of the complex , but it is the way it is .
- Damien (10/5): -
- Laura Alida (7/5): - Great staff, comfy bed Carpet very old and dirty looking. No spoons with tea and coffee tray
- Bell (5/5): - Helpful Stairs
- Luke (8/5): -
- Brendon (4/5): Poor - Close to airport Ibis rooms along way from reception . I checked in at 130am none showed me where room was.
- Adam (6/5): -
- Samual (5/5): -
- Beck (9/5): A comfortable night, great to be able to check out at 11.00 a.m. - The staff at reception were efficient and organised a cart to take me to my room, carried in my bag for me. This has never happened before. Nothing
- ingham (8/5): -
- Bowen (10/5): -
- Judith (9/5): Good overall experience - Clean all needs in one place Organised
- Stephen (7/5): -
- Peter (7/5): Good - Close to Airport. .Rooms neat, tidy and quiet. Rooms are quite small but ideal for a quick overnight stay if travelling for work
- Darren (1/5): I've stayed at hotels and resorts all through the Pacific and this has been the worst experience. - Nothing No free shuttle bus at airport. Had to pay taxi. Poor check-in experience. Lined up for 25 minutes then left waiting in the lobby for 1 hour until my luggage was collected. Room tiny, stains all over carpet. TV not working. Room not prepared. Bar service poor. Staff on phones, not paying attention. Tables not cleared at restaurant in peak hour. No table service. Staff stand behind counter and chat.
- Tammy (8/5): -
- Agnes (9/5): - personnel à la réception très sympathique et très arrangeant le fait que dès qu'on ouvre porte salle de bain, cela déclenche lumière et ventilation automatiquement et que ça met du temps à s'éteindre
- popi (4/5): Beautiful Foyer, Budget Dorm Rooms: Didn’t Match the Price or Expectation - What I liked most was the genuinely lovely and friendly staff, the exceptionally beautiful foyer that gives a real resort-style first impression, and the fact the place was clean throughout. It’s in a convenient location, close to the suburbs, Casuarina Shopping Centre, and within walking distance to the airport. Rooms felt more like a basic, compact “clean box” with small, dorm-like rooms and a private hospital-like smell, despite a nice resort-style foyer; even the pay extra per night parking felt like nickel and diming, so overall it didn’t match the price or expectations, and I wouldn’t book to stay at the Ibis again. I would consider the Mercure or the Novotel next time.
- Luke (6/5): Safe and comfy - Location Check in
- Josh (1/5): I booked a room as it offered a shuttle service - no shuttle service came and then it was too late f - Terrible Customer service was not good
- Garrawurra (9/5): -
- Rose (4/5): - It was close to the airport. I had to drag my bag to the accommodation and it was upstairs. I am 73 years old. I was expecting a room with an elevator as in the Ibis Brisbane.
- Eveline (8/5): -
- Matthias (8/5): -
- Wen Ling (5/5): -
- Robinson (10/5): -
- Guy Kemp (9/5): Ours was an enforced stay made necessary by injury but the manager and his staff were very helpful. - The attitude of the manager to changes requested by us was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff. The prices at the Splash restaurant are absolutely outrageous.
- Tony (6/5): I arrived. I did what I had to do. Then I left. - It's at the airport, so perfect for catching a flight on the next day. The standard of English of the staff was not very good, and it was difficult to follow what they were trying to say.
- Remilton Jumardi (10/5): -
- Valma (8/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): -
- James D Denton (3/5): - We didn't sleep, air-conditioning too noisy. Too short turn round for next flight
- Naomi (8/5): -
- Bernard (7/5): Well priced Darwin Airport hotel - The Ibis is a surprisingly well priced alternative amongst the colocated Darwin Airport Hotels A lot of upgrade work in progress which did impact the room itself. Very quiet
- Rachelle (8/5): -
- Clement (9/5): -
- Jason (7/5): - No bathroom light. Only sensors.
Get blinded in the middle of the night when going to toilet and not able to turn off

- SAMANTHA J (10/5): -

- Morne (3/5): Wasn’t pleasant at all - Close to airport The price you pay for what you get is poor. The television. Cannot watch just normal TV. The room next to me had so much fighting and screaming all night that I could hardly sleep. I had to call reception to sent security to the room next to me. Not a pleasant stay as all
- Puruntatameri (8/5): -
- Huirui (4/5): - Friendly staff Room smell like alcohol
- katlyn (1/5): -
- Gladys (6/5): Ok - Proximity to airport Stained carpet and curtains in the room. Room very small - no room to swing a cat! Disappointing Poolhouse meal.
- Paul (7/5): Good for the one night we were there. Would I recommend Ibis.? For the location to airport definitely - Location to airport Size of room was too small. No milk provided for coffee
- Kent (10/5): Exilant can't say any more will be a promotor - Great location everything was as per photos etc can't ask for more. Staff were more than open to help and advise Nothing, except I forgot my swimmers

- Kahnesha (3/5): Disappointing - Location Price was expensive for the run down facilities and it wasnt very clean. Also get charged for parking which has never happened at our previous stays
- Judy (9/5): Good but frustrating at times. - Airport convenient The distance of Ibis to reception. You book all three hotels separately yet the are the same location. Staff were expecting me to walk with very heavy luggage all that way. I asked for a lift and got one. Also I was put in an upstairs room, and requested a change so I didn’t have to drag my cases upstairs!
- Ilona (9/5): - Comfortable beds and was quiet. Door did not slide well to bathroom.
- Nooradelyia (10/5): It was very pleasant - Facilities is excellent, staff is friendly, quick service, food is amazing and little things like the checkin machine, powerbank rent station and automatic light when you walk in the bathroom is a plus plus! Probably need more signage
- Calum (10/5): - Quick check-in and warm welcome, Room is clean & well air conditioned! Ty assisted me with checking out, awesome sense of humour and really friendly, would highly recommend if looking to stay!
- Kyrah (8/5): -
- Malcolm (6/5): -
- Robert (5/5): Average - Staff were friendly Restaurant was late opening every day coffee machine not working . A huge cockroach landed on me in the middle of the night
- Amanda (10/5): -
- Dwane (1/5): - Cigarette ash everywhere ?? Dusty , need new cleaners
- Mirjam (7/5): Ok - Resort set up Room room small, aircon not adjustable, food options in restaurant could have been better quality
- Rourke (5/5): OK - Breakfast was fine. Coffee was ordinary Room was small. Bed was comfy, but only 1 pillow and it was about as thick as a pillow slip. No Bin for rubbish in room and the bodywash/ shampoo containers were empty
- Orlando (6/5): -
- Fleming (10/5): - Comfortable, modern and clean
- Alison (6/5): -
- Megan (9/5): - I didn’t have breakfast. Some cutlery & a microwave would be good. As I like to bring my own food most of the time.
- George (10/5): -
- Lincoln (7/5): -
- Lindsay (6/5): -
- Laila (7/5): -
- gerard (5/5): - Le shuttle n’est jamais venu me chercher.
- Heather (10/5): Heather/ cyclone 🌀 - Every thing, room, breakfast was amazing, the pool and the staff. Nothing
