• Rachel (9/5): Stunning waterfront views for a relaxing getaway - Beautiful views and close to shops, restaurants and cafes. House very comfortable and roomy. Bed mattress was a bit soft for me but it's ok for 1-2 nights!
• Mia (6/5): Beware of the human eating mattress! - Quiet area with lots of waterfowl. Tasteful interior with potential to be great if they invest in a decent mattress or two. The king bed was atrocious! Both sides sagged so much in the middle that even my lightweight body sunk into a cavern - it was like painfully lying with my head and legs hanging out of a bucket! I tried an upstairs single bed for the first night, which was also saggy, and my husband moved to the centre of the king, because his side was sagging too. For the other two nights I slept in the downstairs double. The whole reason people book accommodation is to have somewhere to sleep, and it’s the difference between having a great next day or a horrible, tired, aching one. It’s disrespectful of the owners to take so much money and have such a terrible mattress. The TV in the bedroom had no sound and the lounge suite is also saggy, so I think the unit (9) is getting a bit tired in general.

• Eileen (8/5): Great place for families or couples. - Lovely water views, can park the boat at the front on the canal. Bed was super comfy. Heated pool was great. King bed sheets should have had a fitted sheet on bottom, forever getting untucked.

• kristine (10/5): A little bit of paradise - Beautiful view of the Cove which had black swans, pelicans and ducks swimming around. The appartment was immaculately clean and everything we needed for our two week stay. The managers went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Even when we locked ourselves out of the appartment they drove back to let us in.

Ausflug zum nahegelegenen Raymond Island absolut zu empfehlen. Koalas, Kängeruhes und tolle Vögel in freier Natur. Fähre ist für Fußgänger kostenfrei.

• Fang (10/5): - The views were absolutely beautiful and the scenery was just amazing. The room had everything we needed and was really comfortable. The best part was definitely seeing dolphins playing right outside our door, we felt so lucky, it was such a cool experience!

Would recommend this accommodation. - The location was handy to all of the amenities in Paynesville and the property was very quiet with a great outlook onto the canal. Any issues we had were quickly attended to by Belinda. The bed was too soft and you could feel the springs. I had a sore back after every sleep. We were advised that parking for two cars was possible in tandem under the carport but this was not the case even for two average size vehicles, parking however was available a short walk away.

Cucina attrezzata con tutto il necessario. Comodo il parcheggio davanti all'ingresso. Da migliorare solo la comunicazione per le informazioni di accesso alla struttura. Abbiamo ricevuto i codici solo richiedendoli all'arrivo, dove nonostante la reception non c'era nessuno presente e non avevamo avuto nessuna comunicazione precedente ne via mail ne via whatsapp.

• Katrina (8/5): Captains Cove Resort is in a beautiful location, the units are so spacious, comfortable and clean! - Captains Cove Resort is in an amazing location, right on the waterfront. It's quiet and peaceful. We had designated parking right out the front of our unit, the keys were in the lock-box. Communication with the property was seamless and we had all the information we needed upfront. The unit is very spacious, there were plenty of towels and sundries. The rooms are very large and it was exceptionally clean! The beds are a little soft, but that's just a preference thing. Some of the kitchen utensils, pots and pans are due for an update and replacement, they're a little tired now. We are only a family of three and we would consider returning to Captains Cove for a stay with our extended family in the future, however given the size of the living room, it could really benefit from a couple of armchairs and footstools. That would make the living space absolutely perfect.

The location was peaceful and beautiful — waking up to that calm waterfront view was just perfect. The apartment was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The staff were so kind and welcoming too. It was the most relaxing getaway ever! Honestly, nothing to complain about — everything was perfect! Just wish we could’ve stayed a few more nights because it was so hard to leave. 😅

Nothing really, although did scrape the front of the car on the car port but that's really a me problem despite it being relatively narrow.
