- Adele (1/5): Dont stay until new owners open up, then definitely give them a go they were wonderful - Nothing Well if i got to stay, not open previous owner taking bookings and payments on property. Phone dsconnected fortunately we spoke with new owners and they kindly offered accommodation at their other venue

- Perryman (5/5): Expensive for what Functional room but limited facilities otherwise. - We liked the location which was convenient to town. We also liked the size of the bed. The room was clean and the shower was nice and warm. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who showed us to our room and made sure we could access our car park. The hotel was closed while we were there and renovation work was happening inside. We booked a hotel thinking we’d be able to stay, eat and have a few drinks at the bar. It was disappointing that we weren’t told. We also found it quite noisy.
- alex (10/5): - Was as described.
- Myree (8/5): Great location rooms are roomy, verandsh needs a good clean please. - Central, lovely long verandah to sit outside at night and early morning for breskfast and coffee. Verandah is filthy, i made the mistake of going outside onto the versndah in white sox, underside of my sox are now black.

- Vicki (3/5): - Convenient to the train station Patrons to hotel parking in front of our unit's designated parking spot.
Then (presume children) tooting constantly on car horn (which was parked in our designated spot) for 15 mins, while we're trying to sleep.
- Trevor (4/5): - Staff were great, room was good but we stayed on s Friday night and the noise was too much, couldnt sleep, hoons around the rooms and loud music and people
- Phillip (10/5): Exceptional -
- michelle and wayne (6/5): - when I arrived at hotel no availability all rooms occupied
we luckily found other accommodation however still waiting on reimbursement from hotel as the money was transferred without service
- Philip (8/5): Happy to stay again. - Didn't have breakfast but had dinner very nice.
- Carolyn (8/5): - Motel room too near where music was
Lovely room
- Janet (8/5): - Nice size room adequate for our stay
- Jasmine (9/5): Such a pleasant stay. - Location and personalised service Nothing to see here
- Jason (8/5): Very good - The old historic wooden floors, tiles, stairs, location, balcony in the mornings with a coffee. Good food served.
- Cindy (4/5): - The only thing good about the room was the cleanliness
- Michael (8/5): Other than above all excellent. - Handy to facilities No kitchen sink or sink plug. Had to wash dishes in bathroom basin.
Toaster caught fire because it hadn’t been cleaned.
- Dave (10/5): - Lovely old style pub in a quaint town. Easy parking. Centre of village.
- Dirk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claudia (5/5): Passable - Good location, friendly staff, good size room Room was not sound proof at all, could hear any noise from outside and downstairs very clearly
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Christian (10/5): - Comfy bed, good dining options, great parking directly in front of the room.
- Clark (8/5): - Staff friendly walk outside the toilets mattress a bit stiff otherwise a pretty good stay
- Joyleen (6/5): - Convenient and satisfied not 5 stars
- Asha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We stayed for 2 nights. We booked this hotel as it was about 1/2 hr drive to the hot air ballooning place. Except for the shared toilet which is cleaned properly, this hotel needs to clean up tables outside our room as I cleaned it for our takeaway dinner and my wipes were totally black. The shared toilet is outside and not near to my room. In the room, no hooks nor hangers for clothes. The big vase of dead flowers on my table should be disposed as it looked terribly dirty and unnecessary. Might as well free up the space to put our clothes or toiletries bag. No mirror either. The mattress is old fashion ie spring style. However, we have 2 days of good bakery next door. It was the best bakery I had in my 8 days in Perth.
- Fernanda (7/5): Good - Food Bed was noisy and bathroom far way from the room
- Rose (8/5): - Neat, clean, tidy and within walking distance
- Driffill (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tyson (7/5): Good -
- Leanne (10/5): - Enjoyed my 4 day stay immensely
- Janet (10/5): - Was automatically given an upgrade to a unit. Self contained with a small kitchette. Staff at bar were friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious too.
- Sharon (8/5): Love Toodyay - Gorgeous little nighter in gorgeous little town.
- Leonie (10/5): Historic pub in walking distance to everything - Loved the balcony and the huge room. Recently painted, it's a fine historic pub. The staff were wonderful! Huge IGA behind, lots of cute shops. A lovely town
- Anthony (10/5): - I was so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the overall look of the facility. The gardens are well maintained and clean. Well done
- Kristie (6/5): - Central location.
- Graeme (8/5): - All was very good
- William (7/5): Good - Very accommodating staff A little dated
- kate (10/5): - Lovely customer service.
Great value for price
- Michael (5/5): Would definitely stay again if prices dropped and the pub was in business - Beautiful old pub with heritage everywhere you look. Unaware that the pub was actually closed serving no food or drinks and only serving as accommodation. No staff present and way overpriced considering shared bathrooms. We arrived in early evening and so had to stay here.
- Christopher (10/5): Excellent stay, and great service from the staff. Will stay again for sure. - We liked the new refurbished rooms, great design and the Freemaons is the most central Hotel ion Toodyay. We checked in and out by SMS only! Such a good service.
- Cassandra (8/5): Very good -
- Nicole (3/5): Will not stay there again - Location was good. Manager seemed lovely. Property manager only communicated through text and ignored our message about the broken shower, smell and rubbish Did not match the photos online. The hotel, restaurant and bar are all closed. The only accommodation is 3 units that do not look anything like the nice room photos online. The bathroom was disgusting with a shower that didn't work. It wasn't that the bathroom was unclean just very old that it was now impossible to clean. Grout and shower sealing was black. There was rubbish under the bed. The room had a smell of mould. The cost is delusional for what you are getting.
- Lance (3/5): Poor -
- Justine (1/5): Disgusting and dirty…stay well away. - The only redeeming feature of this place is the young man who welcomed us to this disaster health hazard. The place is a disgusting mess.
Left open all night to anyone who wants to enter.
There are so many features that are disgusting it’s knowing where to start.
Yard full of overflowing bins.
Communal kitchen with used plates and cutlery left out.
Overflowing bins in the kitchen.
Broken doors.
Hair balls as large as your palm on floors and walls of the shower.
Overflowing bins in the showers…and used soaps…shampoo bottles.etc
Only one toilet as the other was hanging off the wall and filled with sewage.
Room cold and old bedsheets and blankets.
Carpets throughout crusty with dirt and dust and rubbish.
And on and on….
The worst place I have ever stayed in, in my life!…and I have travelled all over the world to many third world countries.
We had booked for 4 nights for an event…the Avon decent and the Hotel was fully booked, as was everywhere else in the town
We left after 3 nights disgusted anyone has the nerve to charge for this health hazard.
- Carthew (3/5): Just adequate, but not going to ever use it again. - The bed was comfortable and air conditioning warm. Location suited our needs. There was no staff present for the entirety of our stay. The hotel was not secured and anyone could have walked in. The whole place looks very un-kept and needs to be closed until it can be cleaned up, preferably fully renovated.
- Natalie (1/5): Bad - Needs a full revamp. Facilities very run down.
- Kelsey (7/5): Good -
- Melanie (1/5): A hell hole - Nothing The smell, the old bed linen. No hairdryer or basic wine glasses.
- Angela (10/5): Will be back, enjoyed our stay - The unit was very clean and comfortable. The bar has a country feel and great atmosphere, the beer garden is very relaxing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was 10/10 fast service. We will be back Nothing
- Belinda (6/5): Pleasant - Location. Bathroom was filthy. Bench was covered in cosmetics. Floor was crunchy and dirty. Carpets needed to be vacumned
- Louise (5/5): an interesting experience! - location, fires in pub and courtyard, friendly helpful staff freezing outdoor shared bathroom, only one working toilet and working but dirty shower
- Anonymous (8/5): I will definitely be staying here again in the near future, absolutely loved it! Cheers Freemasons. - The property was really relaxing and felt very comfortable the whole 2 nights. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
- Ailsa (4/5): We were disappointed with the false advertising of a priva - The management staff were very respectful of our complaint about the standard of the accommodation and took Immediate steps to attempt to rectify the situation - engagement of cleaning staff, assigning us to a room as per our booking request, providing a free night of accommodation and assuring us the falsely advertised ‘private’ bathroom would be changed to ‘shared’ bathroom on the booking.com website. Standard of cleanliness was very low. Even after staff were engaged to clean the rooms this did not include cleaning the dust and food particles from under the bed or wiping the dust off the surfaces of the furniture. There were no mugs/cups/glasses/cutlery/tea/coffee provided in the shared kitchen and no detergent/tea towel etc for leaving this are as ‘tidy as you saw it’ as directed by a hand written sign.
- Peter (1/5): terrible - Noise from music and patrons at night and noise from staff in the morning.
- Akash (2/5): It was not good at all! Lack of staff, cleanliness, security and amenities. No private bathrooms! - Location was very nice. Right in the middle of the main road of Toodyay. Accessible parking. Hotel was unstaffed for the whole long weekend. We checked in at the bar counter and didn't get to show our room etc. We paid and booked rooms with private bathroom/toilet and the rooms didn't have any. We had to go to a shared area. As hotel was unstaffed the toilet and bathroom was in a horrendous state and extremely dirty. The pub downstairs was in an open area and even though the pub was closed for service, it was still open as in anyone could walk in and have access everywhere.
