Las paredes tienen molduras pintadas de otro color que hay que repasar porque se llenan de polvo.

• Melanie (2/5): ESTAFA DEL HOTEL "THE STEPS" de Roma - La ubicación es lo único mencionable. Nuestra reserva era por una habitación DELUXE en el hotel principal, NO EN EL ANEXO, ya que no puedo caminar. Esto fue aclarado en todas las comunicaciones. Llegamos y nos dicen que nuestra habitación está en el Anexo. Les dije que era INACEPTABLE. Luego de mucho discutir, de repente aparece la habitación de las fotos de mas abajo que NADA TIENE QUE VER CON UNA DELUXE. No se podía caminar alrededor de la cama!!! un desastre! No hay el más mínimo servicio. Nuestra reserva era por una habitación DELUXE, como la de la página del hotel, por 6 noches. Las condiciones de reserva del hotel descriptas en la reserva eran que 5 días antes de la llegada, debitarían en la tarjea VISA el pago total de la estadia, cosa que fue debitado, por un valor de euros 3.801,60.- = us .4.419,20.- Soy discapacitada, no puedo caminar y tengo diabética insulino dependiente. Luego de una discusión, nos ofrecen la habitación de las fotos que DISTA MUCHO DE SER DELUXE!!! Ante la hora, viaje, cansancio etc, aceptamos por esa noche, lo que nos ofrecian , que era una habitación, según ellos, de las mismas condiciones. Adjunto fotos de la habitación, donde la imposibilidad de caminar alrededor de la cama - el walker que se aprecia para ver las dimensiones, lejos de la foto que el hotel ofrece como DELUXE. Al día siguiente, sábado 27 de septiembre, nos mudamos al Grande Hotel Plaza . Era imposible para mí quedarnos en el hotel THE STEPS por otras 5 noches. Eso si, primero cobraron, y después, cuando solicitamos el crédito por las noches que no íbamos a usar por habernos dado una habitación que no era la reservada, se nengaron a reintegrar el importe abonado. Por lo tanto, solicito ´por favor la intervención de BOOKING, para que me acrediten el monto debitado, restando la noche que debimos utilizar a la fuerza a pesar de no ser lo que habíamos reservado y accedimos a pagar. • Downes (10/5): Perfect Rome Location - Very modern and stylish - up to date features and touches. Comfortable bed and great bathroom facilities. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Perfect location a short walk from many great attractions and dining options. No bar or cafe on site however the next door restaraunt allowed us to take drinks from them up to the roof terrace of the hotel which was lovely.

• Michael (10/5): Great location but… - Location was great as it was close to many attractions such as the steps, Trevi fountain, pantheon. Shopping was literally right around the corners. The room was in very good condition but we were situations about 3min from where we checked into the hotel. We also didn’t have an elevator in our building. The last thing was being asked to pay for the hotel/city taxes in cash. They wouldn’t accept payment in any other form, which made it inconvenient.

• Ali Alobaidly (10/5): Exceeded our expectations! - I had a wonderful stay at The Steps Hotel in Rome. The location is perfect, just steps away from major attractions and easy to explore the city on foot. The air conditioning was a blessing, especially in the Roman summer, keeping the room cool and comfortable throughout our stay. Soundproofing was great too as we never heard anything going on in the busy streets below us. On top of that, the price was relatively reasonable for such a convenient spot in the heart of Rome. Great value and comfort, I’d definitely stay here again! The elevator was a little too small and barely fits two people, not a major issue and definitely not a deal breaker. The base rooms are small and can feel slightly clostraphobic if you have big suitcases. All and all, the great location, the air conditioning, the comfortable bed and the pleasant staff and service silenced any minor issues we had and the whole experience exceeded our expectations!!

• NORAH (9/5): Would come back again : ) - I booked the hotel at the last minute, and I'm so glad I did! I was comparing it with another option, but I'm thrilled that I changed my mind and chose this one instead. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect - it's right in the middle of the shopping street and just a short walk from the Spanish Steps, which was incredibly convenient. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they even upgraded two of our rooms, which was a huge relief since I was traveling with kids. We loved everything about the hotel - the location, the vibe, and the overall experience. Highly recommend! There were a couple of tiny issues , a small leak in the bathroom roof and some occasional noise from the vacuum cleaning , but these were minor and didn't detract from our overall experience.

• Marae (10/5): Brilliant - What a great hotel! It exceeded my expectations. The room was lovely, extremely clean, a great size (Photos online don't do it justice) and a safe space. It was in a great location and walking distance to all the main attractions. We would definitely come back again and be recommending this hotel to our friends and family in Australia. There is nothing we didn't love. However, an observation is that for the hotel to go from a 4 Star to a 5 Star, it will need additional amenities such as a pool. Otherwise, the rooms are at a 5 Start standard.

The only thing is that it’s a very small elevator, thankfully we were on the third floor so we used the stairs a few times going up and down. Otherwise it was perfect.
• Tanidou (9/5): - The hotel is located in the heart of Rome , just a few metres from the Spanish steps, very close to Fontana di Trevi. There are endless restaurants, cafés and shops in the area. It is in a safe location and you can find bus stops nearby. The staff is helpful and friendly and the accommodation is clean. I am glad that I have chosen this hotel for my stay in Rome. I strongly recommend it.

• Myhanh (8/5): - The room was nice and clean, and has all the amenities that you need. The bed was comfortable and I felt great to sleep in. The hotel is surrounded by lot of shops and restaurants which made the stay really convenient. Spanish Steps is only a 5-minute walk and within 30 minutes walk for other main attractions. If you’re planning for guided day trips, the meeting point is usually at Piazza Apollo which is only within a 10-minute walk from this hotel. It is a safe neighborhood and I would definitely stay here again for my next Rome visit.

The hotel was great. Very clean and the rooms are plush with a luxury styled decor in the bathroom area. A/c was cold. The elevator is a lil small but operated perfectly. You won’t be disappointed choosing this hotel for your stay.

• Monique (10/5): - Beautiful brand new hidden gem mins away from the Spanish steps. It’s on a pretty quiet block - the room was beautifully designed, in a great luxurious part of the city with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The included breakfast every morning was delicious - and the staff was really kind and attentive. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone staying in the area!

• Ladawn (10/5): - The staff was very accommodating to us. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready. We walked around and they provided a solution much earlier than our check in. We appreciated the bellman and staff they were great. The bed was so comfy, and the room and hotel were so clean. The area is in a wonderful location that’s close to shopping and many restaurants. It was such a great team at this hotel and the “Espresso” helped out daily.

• Fabricio (8/5): Hotel moderno bonito y acorde al precio. - Hotel moderno con habitación de buen tamaño para el precio, camas para un excelente descanso y aisladas de ruido, amplio y bonito baño con buenos implementos y toallas. Personal amable aunque no hablan nada de español. No me gustó el desayuno, ni el servicio del restaurante que presta servicio al hotel, poca amabilidad de los meseros, pocas opciones y bajas cantidades. Jugo de naranja y bebida caliente en muy poca cantidad.
