• Janelle (9/5): Easy O/N stay when travelling. - Convenient location and suitable for family travelling. Not close to food outlets. Previous guests kids underwear under bed - otherwise immaculately clean and tidy.
• Debbie (7/5): The house is very clean. But it seems the visitor needs to do extra to keep it nice. - The owner contacted me and I returned her call. She left the door unlocked for us. There was no dishwasher or exhaust fan in the house. All smoke alarms were fully sealed/covered. The owner had set strict rules requiring us to clean all dishes, dry them, and put them back into the cupboards. To avoid this unexpected “housework,” we ultimately decided not to touch anything and just took a shower. It's not relaxing at all.

• Karen (10/5): Absolutely beautiful unit. Inside was a 10/10 - When you walked into the unit it was welcoming. It was perfect for 2 couples, rooms spacious and bed’s comfy. Layout and decor had thought put into it as everything flowed and compensated the apartment. It had a nice rich feeling to it. Everything was there. On a busy corner had to be careful when backing out. Could only stay one night due to OUR other commitments.

Great communication from the owner, who on the day of check in was unwell, advising me where keys were. Bathroom, laundry n toilet all in the same area so if someone in the shower others could use the toilet. The unit needs a night light as unit dark and you have to navigate around the kitchen table to get to the bathrrom/toilet.

• Mick (10/5): - Only stayed for 1 night for a wedding in the area, so was only there to sleep really. However the unit was large and was equipt with everything you would need for a longer stay. The beds were comfortable and place was very clean and tidy. Interection with host was easy and prompt also.

• Jarrod (1/5): Horrible experience would not recommend - Leaving! Judy was a horrible and nasty person. Making rude and disgusting comments. Judy does not like children! She constantly called and didn’t stop calling made it very had to relax on a family holiday, I would not recommend staying at this place. Was not the cleanest when we arrived. Bed also was not comfortable at all barely slept. Overall worst experience I’ve ever had, Judy made the stay horrible and hated every second staying there.

Kitchen lounge area very roomy for socialising. Would love a mirror in each bedroom. As single bathroom makes a little hard getting organised.

• Denise (8/5): Lovely clean, comfortable apartment but overpriced - It has a little carport and entrance from there so private parking. The apartment was spotlessly clean and kitchen was well equipped except there was no dishwasher, which wasn’t a problem for us. The two beds were very comfortable and extra blankets were provided. There was a washing machine and dryer but no iron or ironing board. The apartment was renovated in a retro style. It was my own fault for booking this apartment. I knew that the price per night was excessive ($295) a night but was very disappointed to find that the apartment was not worth that price in any way. We had just rented two apartments elsewhere in the previous four weeks which were $50 a night cheaper than this one and both were large modern, two bedrooms and with two bathrooms and quite luxurious. We expected therefore that at $295 a night, this apartment would be a magnificent apartment with absolutely everything provided. It was very disappointing to find that the only bathroom consisted of a basin and small shower tucked into the laundry. There was no Smart TV, just a small flat screen. There were no bedside lamps. Small things like tissues, pegs, ironing board and iron would have improved our stay. It was also noisy with trucks going past all night but there is to be a bypass of Gympie soon so that won’t be a problem. Had the apartment been $100 cheaper a night we would have accepted these inadequacies but as it was we felt quite disappointed.

• Cunningham (7/5): Great Place for one night in Gympie if you're passing through. - Property was clean and spacious. Great off-street parking. The host/manager of the property was pleasant but kept returning to the property to chat after we had paid. However, she did give great advice on where to eat - The Phoenix Hotel! Delicious food and great service. I stayed in Villa #2 which is designed to sleep six people - three in each bedroom. However, it was my partner and fourteen year old daughter who needed a mirror to get ready for our social function and there was only one mirror in the premises - in the only bathroom. It would help if there was a mirror in the bedrooms! Further, if there was an iron and ironing board, I couldn't find it despite me looking everywhere. Upon checking out the next day, it felt like we were under pressure to get out as the manager/host had arrived early with the cleaner.

• Peter (6/5): Clean but overpriced. - The place was very clean, appeared to be freshly renovated and Judy was very welcoming and friendly. Location. Despite being out of town, the road was very busy especially at night when the boy racers came out. Couldn't open a window, too many noisy cars. The besa block walls do little to insulate sound, including the neighbours. No aircon in the bedrooms only ceiling fans which couldn't be used as they only appeared to have two settings, fast and mega fast. Beds were average, firm and the springs poke into your body, pillows were terrible. No ensuite, shared toilet and shower in one room so when someone is using the shower, the toilet can't be accessed. Over priced at $295. They're charging a premium but the property doesn't live up to it, sorry. Photos on booking.com make the place look much bigger. My fault, I should have just picked a cheap motel for the night.
