• Anna (5/5): I would not go back to this hotel. - We liked the personal attention we received for our daily breakfast. 1. This boutique hotel is part of a business building with other professional services. We did not like its location as it did not have any way that you could park your vehicle in the front to unload your luggage. The "Piazza" was always dirty and there are many homeless people in the area. 2. The entrance to the building with lots of graffiti has a large metal gate door that was locked upon our arrival. So if you arrive on a Saturday or Sunday, it is locked (no porter). 3. The reception is separate from where your room is located so there is no way that you can communicate with the reception by dialing (ie: 9 or 0) in case of an emergency. I brought this issue to their attention. 4. Supplies to the room is limited (no tissues, small bottles of shampoo, etc. so bring your own). 5. Problem with the air conditioning throughout (our friends had none for 4 days, although we reported it to reception). Hairdryer was not working and was replaced on the 3rd day.

• 878SallyS (4/5): Disappointing - We stayed in this hotel for a one night stop-over in Naples. Location was the best part, as central & close to everything we wanted to visit. However, to say ‘boutique’ it was not. We booked a ‘deluxe’ double room & again it was not deluxe - no ‘city view’ plus all the accessories listed in the description on the website were not there. We would have complained & asked to be moved, but the check-in was at the Soul Art Hotel which is confusing as was the building layout itself. For us to get over to our room in the Boutique Hotel Piazza Carita, it was a task with heavy luggage & could be challenging to navigate around the stairways & antiquated lift system. If visiting again we would look for an alternative, as I am sure Naples has a lot to offer.

• arvanitidou (9/5): - η τοποθεσία εξαιρετική πολύ κοντά στο μετρό και σε συνοικίες με μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον (ισπανική συνοικία) πολλά εστιατόρια κοντά και γενικά πολυσύχναστο μέρος δεν αισθάνεσαι καμία απειλή στην περιοχή. Δυσκολία υπήρχε στο να αναγνωρίσεις την είσοδο του ξενοδοχείου. Ενώ η είσοδος της οικοδομής είναι μεγάλη ουσιαστικά δεν καταλαβαίνεις ότι έφτασες στον προορισμό σου. Το βρήκαμε λόγω των εφαρμογών του κινητού και υπάρχει δυσκολία στο να ανοίξεις την πόρτα την πρώτη φορά που πηγαίνεις πριν σου δώσουν την κάρτα με τους κωδικούς. Τις καθημερινές με την παρουσία του θυρωρού είναι πιο εύκολα.

• Nita (6/5): - Had a very warm and friendly greeting from Paolo at reception. He was informative and we appreciated him holding our bags until our room was available. The building itself is multipurpose and used by many businesses, so it was a little confusing finding the hotel from the outside. The signage on the 1st floor of scala A was also confusing as it had a different hotel name (SolArt). The room was large and clean. However it was lacking a 4 star feel with some basic amenities, furniture and aesthetics missing. The silicone around the shower looked mouldy, the shower tray was spongy underfoot and the actual shower was installed wonky, so a lot of water ended up outside the shower tray. There was also a lack of storage throughout. The balcony had no furniture and the tarpaulin under the balcony above ours was hanging down, which we found strange. The location was perfectly central allowing us to walk everywhere, and there were transport links nearby. It’s a perfectly serviceable hotel, but prepare yourself for a 2-3 star standard. It could be so much better with a few things that the hotel could consider and is within its control to change.

Very low water pressure: almost impossible to wash the hair or take a decent shower (yes, we've informed the hotel staff about that). I have never had such a situation in any hotel before. Due to this reason, I would not stay here again.

• Cinthia (9/5): Un hotel diferente, muy bien ubicado. - La ubicación es muy buena, muy cerca de la estación de metro y al principio de la calle Toledo. En un primer momento puede parecer peligrosa por la noche la plaza por donde entras, pero estuvimos cuatro días y el ambiente fue muy seguro. La habitación muy amplia, igual que el baño. Todo muy limpio. A pesar de estar muy céntrico y dar a la calle, se duerme bien, no hay mucho ruido. El portero del edificio es un señor muy amable. Cuando piensas en un hotel 4 estrellas no te imaginas que las habitaciones estarán en la segunda planta de un edificio enorme de los años 30, en el que además hay centros odontológicos, despachos, etc. La recepción está en la primera planta de otra escalera. La entrada del edificio suele tener basura, quizás porque está al lado de un Burger King. La estancia ha sido genial, pero es un 4 estrellas peculiar.

• Nick (4/5): Not 4 stars. Be careful what you book. - The hotel is in a good location, a short work to great restaurants and the subway station is nearby. Thankfully due to a complaint I laid, the very kind manager upgraded us to what we believed we had paid for. This review is based off the actual hotel I booked, not the upgraded hotel we were given, as people need to understand what they are booking. This is not a 4 star hotel. They operate two hotels in one company. They have the "Art Hotel" in the same building which is definitely a 4 star hotel. When we checked in to "Boutique Hotel Piazza Carità" we got to our room and were disgusted. Not 4 stars. Not even 3 starts of this room that we were given. Surrounded by concrete. The smallest hotel TV I have ever seen at the other end of the room from the bed made it impossible to use. The bathroom was very spacious but extremely tacky. The WiFi did not work as they have no idea how to setup a WiFi network. Too many access points with improper radio channel configuration. This hotel needs to remove/lose its "4 star" rating.

Camera molto grande e pulita. Palazzo d’epoca elegante, stanza moderna e ben arredata. Letto e cuscini comodi. Vista molto bella sulla citta e Castel Sant’Elmo Poca pressione dell’acqua in bagno, il bidet praticamente inutilizzabile. Phon a muro che si spegne ogni 30sec per raffreddarsi. Accessori bagno inadeguati alle 4 stelle.. come anche il Frigobar minuscolo e con sole due bottigliette d’acqua. Finestra (con terrazzo che affaccia sulla piazza) da tenere sempre chiusa, sotto c’è Burger King e altri fast food che sprigionano odore di fritto e unto h24. Insonorizzazione con la stanza adiacente pari allo zero. Quando i ragazzi (nostri vicini di stanza) fumavano, entrava anche tutto l’odore da noi. Macchinoso l’accesso alla struttura.. tra ascensori a doppie porte, codici da digitare, chiavi del portone e reception in un’altra parte del palazzo (scala A).

• Eetu (8/5): Hotelli erittäin hyvälöä sijainnilla ja hyvä hinta-laatu suhde - Hotelli sijaitsee erittäin hyvällä paikalla, lyhyt matka metroon ja ostoskaduille. Huoneet pidettiin siistinä, aamiaisella oli hyvä palvelu sekä yleisilme hotellissa siisti. Ilmastointi oli erittäin hyvä. Huone oli pieni, mutta riittävä tarpeisiin. Aamiainen myös riittävä, kaikki tarpeellinen käytännössä löytyi. Hotelliin oli todella haastava löytää. Tutustu saapumisohjeisiin ennen hotelliin tuloa. Aamiaisella olisi voinut olla enemmän valikoimaa. Hotelliin kuului hieman ääniä ympäristöstä, toisaalta se on normaalia kaupungissa ja ei häirinnyt kuitenkaan liikaa.

The door had a space underneath and all the light was coming in. Bathroom door did non close nor had a lock so zero privacy whatsoever. Amenities hardly replaced (had to ask everytime for extra shampoo or shower gel). No real anticipatory service, nor attention to details. The place is advertised as a 4 star, but in reality is a 3 star as a stretch.

• Pulpe (6/5): - Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral für eine Stadtbesichtigung. Frühstück ist gut, die Frühstücks-Managerin Silvia ist sehr nett und spricht viele Sprachen. Das Bett war bequem und das Zimmer lag an einem Innenhof oben, so dass es nicht zu laut war. Die Zimmer sind in einem anderen Gebäudeteil als Rezeption und Frühstück. Daher ist es morgens ein bisschen umständlich, mal eben dorthin zu gelangen. In unserem Zimmer funktionierte das WiFi nicht, scheinbar reichte es nicht bis dorthin. So hatten wir nur Internet beim Frühstück im anderen Gebäudeteil. TV-Programme nur italienisch.

Unser Zimmer ging zum Innenhof und war daher relativ ruhig. Das Zimmer hatte eine interessante Architektur, fast wie in einer Kapelle, war modern und hochwertig eingerichtet mit Flying Bar und Wasserkochstation. Überall finden sich Original-Gemälde und sonstige Kunstobjekte. Die Barrista beim Frühstück erzählte uns, dass der Hotelbesitzer und seine Frau die Künstler seien. Das Frühstücksbuffet war umfangreich mit verschiedenen Käse- und Wurstsorten, Cerealien, Obstsalat etc sowie einem leckeren Dolci-Bereich. Eier wurden auf Wunsch zubereitet. Die Frühstücksdame war ausgesprochen freundlich, der Kaffee lecker. Die Abtrennung an der Badewanne wurde von uns als zu kurz empfunden, beim Duschen spritzte viel Wasser daneben. W-LAN hat teilweise nur langsam funktioniert.

• Gaia (7/5): Posizione top, alcune cose da migliorare - -La posizione super centrale, perfetta -sevizio whatsapp per chiedere info alla reception -deposito bagagli al check in - il bagno necessita di un po’ di manutenzione, c’era della muffa nella doccia - il piano doccia non ottimale, nel fare la doccia si allaga buona parte del bagno - poco insonorizzato, si sentivano le conversazioni delle stanze accanto - non super importante ma magari conveniente da sapere: si fa il check in in una scala del condominio e per andare alla stanza si deve andare in un altra scala, in un piano molto anonimo. Quindi se é necessario andare alla reception per prendere un dental kit per esempio bisogna fare due scale intere a salire e scendere

• Annette (8/5): Schönes grosses Balkonzimmer in guter Lage am Rande des spanischen Quartiers & der Altstadt - Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, mit Balkon und Blick auf den Platz Piazza Carità. Das Bett war bequem und gross. Unser Extrawunsch nach 2 einzelnen Bettdecken (statt einer grossen zum Teilen) wurde erfüllt. Dusche / Bad waren ausreichend gross. Dank der zentralen Lage ist man direkt in der Einkaufsstrasse "Toledo", und zu Fuss in ca. 10 min. bei Santa Chiara/Gesu Nuovo, oder in 10-15 min. bei Municipio. Auch ist eine U-Bahn Station (Toledo) gleich beim Hotel, und auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Platzes fängt das Spanische Viertel an - also rundum gibt es jede Menge Lokale und Geschäfte. Etwas ganz besonderes waren die Lifte im Haus, das eine Mischung aus Hotels, Wohnungen und Büros zB Rechtanwaltskanzleien beherbergt, sowie ein Gesundheitszentrum. Die Lifte sahen zwar Museumsreif aus, aber funktionierten wunderbar - aber Achtung: beide Türen immer schliessen, sonst fährt er nicht, (und es gibt auch betagte Bewohner in dem Haus in den oberen Geschossen, die darauf angewiesen sind). Ein weiteres Highlight war das unerwartet umfangreiche Frühstück, das wir im Partnerhotel im selben Haus (anderes Stiegenhaus) einnehmen durften. Dort gab es reichliche Auswahl an süssen Teilchen, Schinken, Wurst, Käse, Brot, Joghurt, Obst und vielem mehr - wirklich umfangreich für Italien! Dort war eine wunderbare junge Dame für unsere Betreuung zuständig, die uns mit bestem Barrista-Kaffee und viel Freundlichkeit verwöhnte. Alles in allem können wir den Aufenthalt hier weiterempfehlen! Das Zimmer sah genau so aus wie auf den Fotos bei booking.com. Bei der Anreise gab es etwas Verwirrung: in diesem prunkvollen alten Gebäude heisst der 1. Stock Mezzanin, und dann kommt erst der erste Stock (eigentlich 2. Stock) - und dort sollte man sich anmelden, also waren wir im falschen Stock und haben den Hoteleingang nicht gleich gefunden. Die Beschilderung des Wegs durchs Stiegenhaus zum Hoteleingang vom Partnerhotel SoulArt könnte man verbessern. Es ist etwas umständlich, vom Hotelzimmer (2. Stock) in einem Stiegenhaus bis runter zu gehen oder mit dem Lift zu fahren, und dann in einem anderen Stiegenhaus / Lift wieder hoch zum Frühstück in den 1. Stock im anderen Trakt, aber die historischen (wirklich sehr gut funktionierenden) Lifte haben auch was für sich ;-). Und wenn man kein Frühstück bucht (was aber ein Fehler wäre!) braucht man nur für Check-in und Check-out dorthin. Die Eingangssituation mit dem abgesperrten Eisengitter ist für Mitteleuropäer gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber in Neapel ist das wohl üblich. Dahinter gibt es ein paar Stufen, da muss man die Koffer / Taschen hochtragen, danach kann man die Lifte benutzen. Die Zimmertür ist nicht gedämmt und man hörte die anderen Gäste ankommen. Am Wochenende ist es etwas lebhafter auf dem Platz (und auch überall sonst in der Stadt), aber ab der zweiten Nacht haben wir gar nichts mehr davon gehört und tief und fest geschlafen.

• Sally (7/5): Not an obvious hotel as you know it. No reception, no bar or restaurant. - Room was spacious. Poorly signposted very hard to find as behind locked metal gates. No obvious signs on gates on how to enter or where the accommodation was. Went up the wrong lift initially to be told to come back down and go up another lift. Not an obvious hotel as such although where the reception is located is nice but it’s not where the rooms are. Unusual set up. Lifts are very ancient.

• sophie (7/5): - Le côté insolite de l'établissement L hotel se situe dans un quartier très bruyant a côté d'un Burger King. L'entrée principale de l'hôtel avec la grande porte blindée et le manque d'insonorisation des chambres pour un 4 étoiles

• Maria (8/5): - Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage, direkt zwischen dem spanischen Viertel und der Altstadt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Matratzen sehr gut. Sehr nettes Personal, vor allem beim Frühstück. Ein großes Manko ist, dass man in den Zimmern kein WLAN hat und dadurch keinen Internet-Zugang, weil das Netz in Neapel sehr schlecht ist. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Das Hotel ist auf verschiedene Flügel im Gebäude aufgeteilt, wir waren im älteren Teil untergebracht, der wenig “Hotel-Feeling” hatte. Das Hotel war am Platz nicht ganz einfach zu finden und wir haben vorher keine weitere Erklärung bekommen, da wir spät abends abgereist sind, war das etwas kompliziert.
• LEONARDO (6/5): Napoli bellissima - Posizione ottimale da raggiungere con i mezzi (da aeroporto Alibus fino a Stazione Centrale poi L1 fermata Toledo della metro) e per visitare Napoli a piedi. Personale disponibile e gentile sia in Reception che al bar della sala colazione. No camera 203. Spiace trovare una serie di malfunzionamenti che possono essere risolti con poche ore di manutenzione e che non credo debba essere necessariamente il Cliente a segnalare. Ad esempio: maniglia della porta della doccia che quasi si stacca - muffa e siliconatura mancante o grossolana del piatto doccia - soffione a muro traballante e che merita una bella passata di anticalcare - carta igienica di scorta appesa al tubo di scarico della cassetta wc che perde e ti accorgi che è tutta inzuppata quando ti serve.

• Suet Ying (8/5): - The property doesn't show the same name as the hotel I booked. There are 3 different names so it caused me to go up and down searching for the reception for about 20 mins. However, the overall facilities are very well, and the place is clear.
