The host is extremely friendly and always available, providing great support with any questions, which made the stay very easy and pleasant. The neighborhood is also very nice: quiet and pleasant, and it’s very easy to get to the city center. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

• Géraldine (9/5): Très bon séjour - Logement bien équipé, conforme à la description. De nombreux consommables sont présents, notamment du café et de la poudre pour machine à laver. Zone résidentielle calme, tout comme le voisinage. Bonne accessibilité en transports en commun, avec plusieurs commerces proches du métro. Un seul bémol: nous logions à 4 (2 adultes + 2 enfants), avec 2 personnes dans le canapé convertible, un peu petit pour nous (1,70m).

• Vinzani (10/5): - Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia di 4 persone nel periodo natalizio, siamo stati per 5 notti. Casa molto accogliente, pulita e ottima posizione per i mezzi. Supermercati nelle vicinanze, zona molto tranquilla e residenziale, non c’é il caos del centro della città, zona silenziosissima. Il Signor Massimo, proprietario della casa, sempre disponibile e gentile, ci ha dato anche molti consigli per il nostro soggiorno.

• Sally (10/5): A very comfortable stay in this delightful flat which is very well located in lovely Highgate. - I spent a few weeks staying in this cozy and charming flat. I found it to be a wonderful "home base" for my explorations in London and beyond. The flat is very well equipped for any length stay and having a washer and dryer was very useful. The full and well-equipped kitchen allows you to eat in easily. The balcony is a great bonus and with a lovely outlook. As a solo traveler the flat was the perfect space for me. It is an easy 10 min walk to Archway tube station and the W5 bus stops right outside on the way back uphill if you have lots to carry or at night time, although I found the area felt very safe. Highgate itself is a very nice place to base yourself and the flat was a tranquil space to return to after each day's activities. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Don't let the stairs to the front door put you off - it's a great way to get fitter and earn that extra treat at the local bakery!
• chui lin (9/5): Beautiful little apartment. - Nice decorations and flowers in the balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped. Quiet and easy walk to the tube station. Nice neighbourhood. Perfect for couples or family of 3. The sofa bed is too small for 2 adults, it’s around 42-44 inches wide and 75 inches long the most. I can’t sleep well on it. A family of 4 with big briefcases like us had to pulled them up with all your might.
• E. Solis (10/5): La guinda perfecta para un viaje vamiliar. - Ha sido la guinda del pastel del viaje. Esta perfectamente situado, muy cerca del metro, con supermercados a mano, muy tranquilo, ni un ruido de noche para dormir. No dispone de ascensor, pero se hace muy cómodo igualmente para subir, aún con compra o maletas. Desde el metro se puede coger directamente varias líneas de autobús que quedan al lado de la casa. Hemos estado muy cómodos, no necesitas nada más en la cocina, esta bien equipada, la terraza es preciosa. El plus de lavadora y secadora es genial, sobre todo si viajas con niños como nosotros. La verdad es que es una zona que enamora y el alojamiento esta muy bonito, hace la experiencia mucho más británica. Nosotros cuando volvamos por la zona, procuraremos reservar en el mismo alojamiento si esta disponible. Hay una hospital muy cerca y dispones de un Tesco un poco más arriba, un Aldi y un M&S nada más salir del metro. Sin duda es una apuesta segura. La línea de metro que conecta (la negra) es perfecta para conectarte con todo Londres de forma muy eficaz, y esta a muy pocas paradas de Candem. La cuesta para subir del metro al apartamento, es realmente empinada, pero no es ningún problema (incluso para mi que suelo necesitar bastón), puesto que al menos hay cuatro líneas de autobús que te dejan al mismo nivel, caminando apenas tres minutos, alguna de ellas, te deja prácticamente en la puerta.

It was the ideal base for us, ideally located between Highgate Villag - Charming property, lovely decor, well equipped If I had to give something as a negative, it would be that the sofa bed was too hard. However, we could cushion it with a duvet so it was not a problem.

• Danielle (10/5): Authentic London Pad - Balcony, nature view, flowers, cute decor, cosiness, great kitchen; all necessary accessories to cook, birds singing, bus stop outside the building for easy access from Metro, next to a wonderful park, cafes, restaurants, pub, amenities, supermarkets, close to Highgate village, on great Northern Line, light apartment, plenty of windows, and nice ambience lighting. Friendly and communicative owner. Easy going, and flexible regarding arrival time. Thanks Massimo! Big hill from Metro, 10 mins walking, only until we tried the W5 bus, then it was a breeze! Three floor levels with no lift, but there is nothing they can do about that, but the positive is that you will get fit :)
• Martin (9/5): An absolutely wonderful quiet traditional London flat superbly located in historic Highgate. A rare find. - Beautifully presented with great style but also very personal. Good layout with excellent size bedroom kitchen and bathroom and the balcony really provides wonderful garden outlook and air. Three big flights of stairs! No problem really but be prepared.

• Craig (9/5): Great North london pad - Good location. Nice decor and bright and airy as it is 3rd floor and there is a small balcony. Comfortable bed and although small the kitchen was very functionable. Host very communitive It is a bit of an uphill walk from the nearest tube ( Archway) to the flat ( 3rd floor) and the Key box was a little difficult to find as I arrived at night and there wasn't great lighting. Early check out was a bit of a pain.

Clear instructions on key entry were messaged ahead of our trip. Very nice neighbourhood. Felt safe. Photos online are very accurate. The whole flat is very clean . Thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a short or long stay..Wooden floors or ceramic floor tiles throughout with rugs. Fully equipped good quality kitchen, with tea, coffee, fresh milk & butter already supplied for arrival..very welcoming & hassle free following a long journey. Towels, shower gel, bubble bath ,toilet roll & hairdryer all there ready to use 👌 Entering the flat is straight into a long slim hallway, with plenty hanging space for jackets & , then down a few stairs to the bathroom on left. Powerful shower with plenty hot water 24/7. Nice big bath tub . Extra water hose from bath taps too. Next room off hallway is the bedroom. It's spacious enough with comfortable bed, wardrobe , seating & chest of drawers. The beautiful living room is where the sofa folds into a double bed. Plenty clean fresh bedding, pillows & throws. There's a folding dinner table, seating 4 comfortably. The flower potted balcony really made it for us. Looking out in summer to lots of high trees, giving privacy. We enjoyed breakfast & the odd dinner & evening drinks out there. Lovely & quiet as the flat faces out to the rear. You'll get a great sleep here, as it's quiet for London! It gave the flat a light & airy feel. There's a door at the side of the balcony which provides the utility cupboard with washing machine & tumble dryer. The kitchen leads off the living room. Dual aspect windows. Couldn't be better equipped 👌 Lots of interesting wall pictures, books, artefacts throughout. We loved this place, really can't fault anything !!!! . There was nothing we didn't like..& we've travelled a lot & can be critical. I'd recommend it for either ,like us, a family of up to 4 (as with the kitchen being directly off the living room without a door between, it's super lovely but sleepers in livingroom would be disturbed if others needing into kitchen) good also for a single person or couple. Although no issue for us, to be considered for anyone with mobility issues. They would find the stairs to top floor a real struggle / impossible ,as there is no elevator. The location worked well for us as the Archway tube station is a 7/8 minute walk downhill. 10 minutes takes you to Euston station with many more options of where you're going. Also, the W5 bus stops right across from the flat if you prefer to bus it to the tube station....we were grateful for this especially on the way home after very busy days in Central London. 2/3 minutes on the W5 drops you at Archway tube & stop is right across from station coming back.

• Bower (9/5): a pleasant, delightful little flat with everything you need in a great location and good hosts - perfect location and size,beds were very comfortable-hosts communicated well and speedily, everything was easy to use, it was nice to have basics like milk and juice already there-the balcony was very beautiful and the flat was very quiet despite being close to a main road-highly recommended I can't think of anything that we can complain about, happily.
• Charlie (10/5): Absolutely fantastic - The location was brilliant for what we needed. We were met by Lucas who let us leave our bags there and showed us around. It’s a charming, quaint flat with some quirky features. It was immaculately clean and we had even been left some provisions such as milk, juice, bread etc. Massimo was very helpful regarding any queries we had on the run up to the stay. Perfect for any kind of traveller and family. Will definitely be staying again
• David (8/5): A beautiful apartment in an old building, with issues - The flat is very aesthetic, lots of interesting artifacts and pictures. . Nice living room, attractive balcony. Host provided basic groceries - bread, butter, milk, juice, coffee - a very nice gesture. The apartment is on the top (3rd) floor of an old bulding and the walk up apartment narrow stairway is not easy for 75 year olds like us. I'm not sure the lack of an elevator and a long walk up was mentioned in the description. The host demanded a 10am checkout (and only finally compromised on 10:30 which is unacceptable. I did not like receiving an email from the owner after our stay asking me to posr a review and saying that anything less than a 5 star review would impact his business. I consider this unacceptable psychological pressure. The double bed is a bit narrow.
