We manage multiple units at this location, and the layout of your assigned apartment may vary from the photos shown.
If bringing a pet, please be aware that each unit allows only one pet (weighing under 20 kg, at least 1 year old, and house‑trained). £300 pet cleaning fee will be collected by the property.
Urban Rest Canary Wharf is located within the Sailmakers apartment complex, which can be found at 32 Harbour Way, London, E14 9QF, just off Millharbour Road. Look for the "Sailmakers" sign above the entrance. Upon arrival, press the call button on the access panel to the right of the entrance door to be buzzed through. Walk through both sets of doors and straight ahead to reception, letting the reception team know that you're an Urban Rest guest. Kindly provide them with your name and ID, and they will provide your keys and confirm your unit assignment. From reception, walk to the right towards the glass door underneath the stairs. Hold your fob to the yellow panel (the light will stay red, that's normal!) and push the door open. Walk toward the lifts, hold your fob to the yellow panel, and press the up arrow to call the lift. Once you arrive on your floor, use the silver key to open your apartment door. The door can stick slightly, so a firm push may be required. When leaving, lock the door by lifting the handle upward to ensure it is fully secured. Please refer to the property manual for guidance on amenities and appliances.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

After checking out we asked when our deposit will be returned to our account as uou have to pay a £200 deposit when checking in, they were so rude with answering and talking over you. - Florentin (1/5): Absolute scam! - TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH – AVOID! Absolute scam! The photos show a beautiful view and a specific side of the building, but we were given a unit on the opposite side. When we pointed out the discrepancy, the host admitted they didn't have the advertised room available but refused to refund us, demanding a 90% cancellation fee instead.
This is a classic 'bait and switch.' The management is dishonest and the listing is a material misrepresentation of what you actually get. Do not book here unless you want to pay for a view you’ll never see.

Nowhere in their listing did they mention the hidden £109 housekeeping fee. What’s worse is that they claim guests who book directly through an agent get housekeeping, but those who book through Booking.com do not. This inconsistency and lack of transparency feel completely unfair—why should I use the app at all if I get penalized for it? A little goodwill gesture, like a partial refund, would have gone a long way in addressing this frustration. I wouldn’t recommend this property until they fix these misleading practices.

- Faye (7/5): Great location, modern and clean apartment. Customer service could be better. - The property is well connected with metro just minutes away from the complex. The apartment is modern, clean and well equipped. The balcony gives a nice and relaxing view of the city. Our keys didn’t work when we got to the apartment it took us around 45 minutes to get it sorted with the receptionist. There was a strong sewer smell when we arrived the apartment, coming from the kitchen / dish washing machine. We reached out to the customer service, gave us instructions but didn’t help solving the issue. We asked for a room spray instead but no one helped. It’s a huge concern with us travelling with kids, if not for this, I would’ve rated them 10.

- Fiza Lee (7/5): Nice stay - The ease of check-in, check-out, and the location. I wouldn't say that I didn't like these aspects. But rather, I think, if done, could really up the notch and standards further.
Here are some things which were "missing":
- hooks in bathrooms to hang some once-used towels
- shower caddy so we don't have to keep bending down in the shower for shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel
- home slippers (the one we get in hotels) -- these would be so great and add to the already-high comfort level!

- Abdullah (4/5): - نظافة المكان و الهدوء لا أنصح بهذا المكان إطلاقًا، وخصوصًا للإقامات الطويلة.
رغم أن الشقة كانت نظيفة، إلا أن تجربة الإقامة كانت سيئة ومحبِطة من جميع الجوانب تقريبًا. خلال إقامتي التي قاربت شهرًا كاملًا، لم تُقدَّم أي خدمة تنظيف، ولا تمت تعبئة أي من المستلزمات الأساسية طوال فترة الإقامة، وكأن النزيل يُترك ليدبّر نفسه بالكامل، وهو أمر غير مقبول إطلاقًا لإقامة طويلة وبقيمة مدفوعة عالية.
إدارة المكان كانت صارمة بشكل غير مبرر، وغير متعاونة إطلاقًا. تم فرض تسجيل خروج مبكر جدًا الساعة 10 صباحًا دون أي اعتبار لطول الإقامة، ودون أي مرونة حتى لتمديد بسيط لمدة ساعة أو ساعتين رغم وجود رحلة سفر مسائية، ولم يتم اقتراح أي حل بديل. أسلوب التعامل كان جافًا، آليًا، ويعكس غيابًا تامًا لمفهوم الضيافة.
المبنى نفسه يعاني من مشاكل تشغيلية خطيرة؛ حيث تتعطل المصاعد بشكل متكرر لعدة أيام متتالية في مبنى مكوّن من 35 طابقًا، مما يسبب ضغطًا شديدًا وتأخيرًا مزعجًا يوميًا. إضافة إلى ذلك، التدفئة لا تعمل خلال فترات البرد القارس، وهو خلل أساسي لا يمكن تبريره.
كما يوجد إزعاج مستمر من القطار الذي يمر بجانب المبنى كل نحو 4 دقائق، ما يجعل الهدوء أو النوم شبه مستحيل. المنطقة المحيطة تفتقر لأي مقومات حياة أساسية، والسرير صغير جدًا، والغرفة ضيقة للغاية، مما يجعل الإقامة الطويلة مرهقة وغير مريحة على الإطلاق.
باختصار، ورغم النظافة، فإن سوء الإدارة، وغياب الخدمات، والمشاكل التشغيلية المتكررة، والضوضاء المستمرة، وانعدام المرونة تجعل هذا المكان غير صالح إطلاقًا للإقامة الطويلة، ولا يستحق التوصية بأي شكل.

Honestly, it looked even better in person than in the photos, and everything was comfortable and well-organized. The reception staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and provided excellent service. The cleanliness was outstanding, the security level was very high, and I felt completely comfortable during my stay. The location was also great and close to everything I needed.
I will definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, elegant, and comfortable apartment. -

And because of that I booked again The major thing which I really not appreciate is the promise which property made to us is we will get apartment on 23rd floor based on prior discussion.
While I reached to place with my guest for check in we got apartment on 10th Floor. The guest who stayed there is One of our client and is Bollywood artist. And it was literally embarrassing for me in front of him during check in time.
So It’s special request that If you’re promising such things than stay on words. Don’t bluff that it’s available on 23rd floor and we already secured for my client.

You will have Rituals toiletries and everything you need for cooking at home, it's warm inside and pleasant to be outside, a quite safe area Please be informed that some of the photos do not showcase the real view from the apartment, and you`d need to leave a refundable deposit of 200 GBP from your credit card.

- Anthony (10/5): Fantastic location and super clean. - Super clan and comfortable, had a face and neck lift so I was a bit battered when I got back tip the apartment but it was so cosy and convenient and spotless I was able to recover and feel very comfortable. The tiny draw back was the new white towels, they left fluff everywhere! All my black clothes ended up being covered in fluff. Also the hoover wasn’t fit for purpose, it just didn’t have any power and the rotating brush was broken so I couldn’t hover the carpets etc so they got a bit grubby after a week

When I checked in, I noticed the accommodation had not been properly cleaned and this included a dusty, stained carpet, which I immediately reported to the management. Despite bringing it to their attention at the start of my stay, they are now trying to charge me over a £1,000 for replacing their entire carpet. I strongly urge future guests to take detailed photos upon arrival and proceed with caution. I am extremely distressed by this and finding the managing company’s harsh attitude unbelievable especially as I reported the condition upon checking in and had to spend days in an unclean flat before they finally cleaned it.

The apartment, located on the 32nd floor, offered absolutely stunning views of Canary Wharf, which made every morning and evening feel special. The balcony was the perfect spot to take in the breathtaking skyline.
Inside, the apartment was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with comfort and convenience in mind. The 2 private en suite bathrooms were spotless, with fresh towels, linen, and toiletries provided. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need — oven, stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, toaster, kettle, coffee/tea maker, and all the necessary cookware and utensils.
The living area was cozy and inviting, featuring a comfortable sofa, a dining table, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services like Netflix — ideal for relaxing after a busy day. The bedroom and wardrobe space were generous, and there were lots of thoughtful touches like an iron, ironing board, and cleaning products, which made the stay even more convenient.
The air conditioning and heating kept the apartment perfectly comfortable at all times. Being in a private apartment within a building gave it a lovely sense of privacy and quiet while still being in the heart of the city.
Overall, staying here was a fantastic experience. The combination of the incredible 32nd-floor views, excellent location in Canary Wharf, and the outstanding amenities made it feel like a true home away from home. Highly recommended—would absolutely love to stay here again!
- Two minutes walk from South Quay station, which connects to Canary Wharf tube and the whole underground system.
- Multiple stores like Tesco and other grocery items are just 2 min
- The Deliveroo dark store was right next door; every order reached us in 5 minutes. Improve the quality of bathroom, kitchen, and cleaning products such as soap, dishwashing tabs, and detergent
The dishwasher had a bad smell; I used a dishwasher cleaning liquid to make it usable/bearable.
Need to add a parking option, as a lot of parking places are available in the basement. Had to park 20 min away (walk) at Just Park basement.

It was modern, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed with all the amenities we could need. We stayed on the 27th floor and the view was absolutely stunning — definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The location was great, close to public transport, restaurants, and everything we needed. The check-in process was smooth and everything was well organized. We would definitely come back!
