Guest Reviews
- Thomas (2/5): - All the dishes were dirty. Flooring was messed up and I stepped on nails. No hand towels. The stairs were atrocious to get up and down. This place wasn’t safe. It was run down. Dirty. Shower smelled of poop. Not a chance would I ever stay in this dump of a hole for the price. The owner clearly doesn’t care about their property.
- Gordon (4/5): - The phone number on the listing was fake. At first we thought the whole place was a scam. It might as well have been. We didn't even get the street address or check-in instructions until the day after the booking was meant to start. This ensures that our booking was non-refundable.
The furniture was dusty and worn-out. Even the wall had unfinished work on it when we came in.
The apartment doesn't even have a wardrobe, which was especially bad because our booking was in December. There was a TV by the bed but no remote control.
The bedding had mildew and the furniture was dusty and worn-out.
The listing had a washing machine but that was also missing. The kitchen had a miniature fridge and microwave but not cutlery. Rat droppings behind the refrigerator. Overall we regard it as badly maintained to the point of being hazardous.
We abandoned this place within minutes. No one should have to pay for this so centrally to the city, nor any property from the same owner.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Mixed feelings. Low price so it's expected. - 3rd Floor, no lift. Had an issue at 1am, owners were unreachable but when I was able to reach in the morning, they pulled all stops to ensure it was fixed. But location is great.
- Lakhrysta (6/5): - This is not a bad property however, I would choose to say somewhere different next time, because there are a ton of stairs that are extremely narrow to get up to the apartment. The floors need to be vacuumed because there was a lot of hair that kept getting stuck to everything. Also the mattress needs to be replaced, the springs print are beginning to show through the top of the mattress after laying on it and by the Tim you wake up in the morning, you can feel where the springs are.
- Dean (8/5): - It was a long climb with our big bags. Once we were in, the conditions were OK. The sofa is a bit shabby but not big deal. The shower occasionally went cold. Other than that, it was fine, for what we paid. The great part was the neighborhood. The shops, pubs and restaurants were peak London and the underground was 2 blocks away. Had we not overdone it and did our feet in on the first day, we could have walked to many of the sights. Getting a coffee and hopping the bus was great though. We loved Fitzrovia.
