Guest Reviews
- June (9/5): I loved it, despite a few negatives. - I really liked the flat because it was open and cool and clean! Furnished simply but contemporary. And there are so many choices to eat at all the surrounding restaurants. I didn't like the fact that the tv didn't work. there was no batteries in the fire stick and when I put them in, the tv still didn't work. Also there were two conflicting messages on the wifi and password. I had to use the one on the back of the internet box. lastly the key pickup was inconvenient because we had to circle around the area due to construction and I was happy I could leave it in the flat when we checked out.
- Tania (9/5): We really enjoyed the location. Battersea is a vibrant and beautiful part of London. Easy access to transportation. - The location is outstanding. A nice view of Chelsea Bridge. Very handy to bus, tube and ferry transportation. The amenities in the unit are good. The bed/bedding is not to the standard you would expect for the price paid. Some form of seating in the covered verandah would be good. Issues with air con in living area. Staff were responsive to the issue but did not send anyone to fix the issue in the one week stay we were there but instead kept just wanting to video call. We at least had air con in the bedroom but with the noise from the trains right beside the property it would have been good for the living room air con to be functional. We were lucky(ish) that it wasn’t particularly hot weather during our week stay.
You also felt like you were in someone’s property with a big basket of unopened mail on the floor, a shamble of cleaning maps and brooms and stuffed crammed into the laundry cupboard and a half used bottle of gin in the wine rack.
There is quite a high step over the edge of the bath into the shower and the bath floor is quite slippery. This might not suit anyone a little elderly or immobile.
These things wouldn’t necessarily stop others staying there.
