Renae (9/5): - I loved the room I stayed in it was super comfy, the pillows, bed and bathroom were top their. I stayed in the executive lounge suite. the amenities were amazing, and the location was exceptional. Majority of the staff were amazing however the only thing was a staff member of the restaurant department I felt was alittle rude and a reception staff member I felt was hard to communicate with. I had issues with accessing my daily breakfasts that I had paid for with my room as a package. I was told I was not on the list every morning I went down to have breakfast. Spoke with the manager and its apparently a glitch of some soft in their systems. Other than that the other staff members I interacted with were amazing. Here’s a more polished version of your review: I loved the room I stayed in — it was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows, bed, and bathroom were all top tier. I stayed in the Executive Lounge Suite, and the amenities were amazing. The location was also exceptional. The majority of the staff were wonderful and made my stay enjoyable. However, I did experience a couple of issues during my stay. One staff member in the restaurant department came across as a little rude, and I found one reception staff member difficult to communicate with. I also had ongoing issues accessing the daily breakfasts that were included in my room package. Every morning I was told I wasn’t on the list. Sophie (8/5): A wonderful stay and have already rebooked to stay at the Dorsett for our next trip to Melbourne! - We had a great stay at the Dorsett Melbourne and really liked the decor in the hotel and the room design and amenities. The pool was amazing and appreciated the warm temperature. It was close to Melbourne Central, Southern Cross station and a variety of restaurant options. We will definitely return and have recommended to friends. The milk in the coffee was UHT milk and would have been nicer if it was fresh milk.
June (7/5): Adequate. The location suited my needs and the room was comfortable. - Breakfast good, breakfast service poor. Friendlier service staff would have made the stay nicer. The room while nice and clean had someone's false eyelashes stuck on the wooden cube next to the bed which grossed me out.

Nicole (9/5): - The room decoration is classy with a balcony. It is clean as well. There are self-service check-in and check-out machines which make your process of reservation very smooth. The bathroom wall is decorated with frosted glass. That means you can still see the shadow of the person who takes a shower. It lowers the level of privacy.

Rhodora (10/5): - It had a warm and inviting vibe. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and accommodating, very helpful. A lovely fresh looking hotel and the beds were so comfortable and those pillows! Very clean and well set up hotel. Buffet breakfast was amazing! I would have loved a tiny kitchenette it just makes it helpful with kids.

LLLLB (6/5): Comfy hotel in great central location - Very nice hotel to stay in. Comfortable bed, bathroom was very modern. Great location, very central to trams, buses and the train. We waited quite a while in a queue for check in and check out. At check in, we were told we would get a housekeeping credit if we didn't have housekeeping tidy our room for two days, to use against our buffet breakfast. After checkout, once I was home I noticed we'd been charged the full amount for breakfast. I contacted the hotel and was told there was a miscommunication, which we didn't understand, because there was a notice about it sitting on the front desk as we checked in. Anyway they apologised and gave us the credit. We're had the buffet breakfast one morning. It was ok. We didn't have it again.

Eve (8/5): Great location and modern hotel. - Great location as walking distance from sky bus/spencer street. Very modern and clean. Fire alarm woke us all up at 1am. Not a lot of info from staff and was annoying but guess couldn't be helped. Self check in takes personalised service out of checking in though and I find staff not really overly helpful as they dont need to do the check in themselves.

The room was a bit dusty and didn't have much in it considering the price for the room, including the fact that the room service options were minimal and when I did eventually place an order it took over 1.5 hours for 1 dessert to arrive....
Tana (6/5): - The bed and location They gave us an "upgrade" however it was still the same room but took away the city view I had booked. I was too tired to try and change it and we stuck with it. The windows looked into the main area of all the facilities so we had to keep our curtains closed, even when we tried to open it it was incredibly dark. There's no water as mentioned and checkin in staff were not helpful or nice.

Chantal (8/5): Really enjoyed my stay, have stayed here twice now and am looking forward to choosing this hotel again on my next trip. - I enjoy using the steam room to start or end my day, rooms are comfortable, the aesthetics really suit what I like, smells good, friendly staff. Not the closest to trams that run horizontally in the city, available options are at least a block walk away. Small inconvenience though, I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Cherie (8/5): Very convenient location. Lots of great cafes around. Great amenities. - The location was convenient, the lobby was really nice and also smelt really good. I found the room very comfortable and I was really impressed with the gym and sauna. Everything was kept very clean and the staff member who checked me in was also really lovely. I dont have much bad to say, the only small thing would be that one of the mugs in the cupboard was dirty. And I didn't like that I had a view of the car park. But that is what it is, and it didn't ruin my stay, as I was spending my days out side of the hotel and was mainly there for night.

Milena (10/5): Beautiful! - Amazing staff so accommodating - especially the beautiful lady from Italy I forgot her name sorry! She was so warm and friendly. The room was incredible, love loved the decor, felt more like 5 stars. The gym was also great, only 1 person there when I did a workout, wish they had more gym equipment like a squat rack etc. I extended my stay as I wasn’t feeling well, and I had to keep coming downstairs in order for this to be confirmed. I completely understand staff couldn’t come to my room, but I do feel there needs to be a better policy with this where you can do it over the phone without the guest having to come to reception. I had to bring a bag down with me as I thought I was going to be sick travelling down to reception. Staff were of course lovely, but just think this needs to be assessed :)
